I was lucky enough to get a free piano and completed Davis' online form for a quote to get it moved to my house. It was easy, after I got the information needed, such as how many steps, tight corners/turns, gravel, etc. I got a call within a few hours with a quote and I scheduled the move. On the day of, I got a call at 8 am to tell me of the 2 hour time frame, and then another call to let me know they were 15 minutes away from the pick up house. Excellent service. They were very professional and I would absolutely use them again. Everyone I encountered, from the woman on the phone, to the movers, were friendly. I didn't hire Davis piano moving as I was the one selling the piano. The person who bought my piano hired them. I do have to say they were exactly on-time about calling in the morning and then calling 10 to 15 minutes before arrival. The two guys that came in were completely friendly efficient and got the piano wrapped protected and moved in about five minutes total. They were respectful to my house and making sure nothing would get dinged and I appreciate that. The guys just left and I wanted to pop on here before I forgot. The folks from Davis were super professional from beginning to end and handled a last minute change without blinking an eye. They handled the piano with care and, despite all the extra driving, were cost competitive with a local operation that was on the opposite end of the customer service spectrum. Definitely trust them with your piano! We had our hardwood floors refinished and needed to move our piano out of the great room and then put back a couple of weeks later. In calling around the city, I could not believe how expensive the other quotes I got from basic moving companies. Someone recommended I call Davis and I am really glad I did. These guys are the best in the city at moving pianos and they came in about half the price as other moving companies. I didn't call them initially because I figured they would be expensive.
