Location is clutch downtown, easy to grab a coffee after or linger and pretend you're cooling down while catching up with a friend. The "changing room" situation is basically a tiny partition so I waited it out and took over the bathroom once people cleared. Love that they now have two locations, Davis and Sacramento, so clearly they're doing something right. Would I come back? Yeah... but not being on ClassPass feels like a missed opportunity, especially in a town with a steady mix of students, short-term stays, and people studio-hopping to find their spot. Being on the app would bring in a consistent flow of people trying classes who could turn into regulars once they find a place they click with... plus it makes it easy for visitors and in-between-membership folks to still show up. Once you're in, it's giving classic 26 & 2 (Bikram) energy. Hot, quiet, get-down-to-business. No music, no fluff, no pretending this is a spa day. This is a sweat situation. Small studio, cubbies, changing rooms, quick rinse shower... like a bird bath but make it functional. Owner's been holding it down for 20+ years which is kinda wild and honestly respect. Started a little standoffish, then warmed up and ended up being great with cues. Full circle moment. Only tiny thing -- you will hear the mechanics downstairs living their best loud lives while you're trying to find inner peace. Names being yelled, music, the whole thing. Full first-timer tour, big smiles, "can't wait to have you back" energy, and the front desk deserves its own standing ovation because wow... above and beyond. I love a studio that refuses to stay in its lane. Yoga, cycle, Pilates, strength, personal training, plus a dangerously cute retail section. I literally came back later just to shop and walked out with a full set (on sale... say less). Even the Tiem cycle shoes were calling my name. Did a triple this morning because apparently I like to test my life choices. Warm mat Pilates (hit around 90°) was solid, but give me darker lighting, more intensity, slower burn... really take me out. Cycle was good, just needed to be louder with more punch. Strength class wrapped it up nicely. Overall, strong lineup--but if I'm doing three back-to-back, I expect to leave as a ghost, and I was still very much alive. Vibes? Good... friendly, welcoming, easy to settle into. Only downside... they ghosted ClassPass, which is a bummer for travelers or commitment-phobes like me.
