Great yoga studio in the heart of Davis! I went for a hot class. They let you borrow mats (helpful…read morefor me as I was in town visiting family) and were very welcoming. The class was a combination of challenging, yet restorative at times and the instructor was great. I will definitely return when in town again!

Booked online and immediately got texts and emails like ok wow... attentive. Love that for me. Walk…read morein and it's very much "this is a yoga room" and that's it... cubbies, one bathroom, water station, a little swag, done. No showers so plan accordingly unless you enjoy marinating in 90+ degree hot Pilates after. Classes are packed, community is strong, lots of events, and the infrared heat is elite. Ella did not come to play... class went to the very last minute and absolutely delivered. Location is clutch downtown, easy to grab a coffee after or linger and pretend you're cooling down while catching up with a friend. The "changing room" situation is basically a tiny partition so I waited it out and took over the bathroom once people cleared. Love that they now have two locations, Davis and Sacramento, so clearly they're doing something right. Would I come back? Yeah... but not being on ClassPass feels like a missed opportunity, especially in a town with a steady mix of students, short-term stays, and people studio-hopping to find their spot. Being on the app would bring in a consistent flow of people trying classes who could turn into regulars once they find a place they click with... plus it makes it easy for visitors and in-between-membership folks to still show up. I'd definitely be here more often.

Fithouse really said "why pick one personality when you can be all of them" ... and it works. From…read morethe second I walked in, every single employee was ON--like aggressively kind in the best way. Full first-timer tour, big smiles, "can't wait to have you back" energy, and the front desk deserves its own standing ovation because wow... above and beyond. I love a studio that refuses to stay in its lane. Yoga, cycle, Pilates, strength, personal training, plus a dangerously cute retail section. I literally came back later just to shop and walked out with a full set (on sale... say less). Even the Tiem cycle shoes were calling my name. Did a triple this morning because apparently I like to test my life choices. Warm mat Pilates (hit around 90°) was solid, but give me darker lighting, more intensity, slower burn... really take me out. Cycle was good, just needed to be louder with more punch. Strength class wrapped it up nicely. Overall, strong lineup--but if I'm doing three back-to-back, I expect to leave as a ghost, and I was still very much alive. Vibes? Good... friendly, welcoming, easy to settle into. Only downside... they ghosted ClassPass, which is a bummer for travelers or commitment-phobes like me. Drop-ins are $30 or 3 for $49, so yeah... your wallet will feel that. And no first class free for locals... bold of them to skip the "try me before you buy me" era.

Exercise torture, but in the best way! Even on the days where the last thing I want to do is…read moreexercise I always end up having a good time. My favorite class is power pilates and the individual training is an amazing investment. The only thing missing is a leg press.

Hot Yoga Davis said no frills, just sweat... and wow they meant it…read more First mission: find the entrance I confidently walked up to the front like "this must be it" -- nope. Ended up being redirected by a mechanic downstairs (iconic) to go around the building and up the stairs. No signage, just vibes and a little scavenger hunt. First-timer problem, you'll survive. Once you're in, it's giving classic 26 & 2 (Bikram) energy. Hot, quiet, get-down-to-business. No music, no fluff, no pretending this is a spa day. This is a sweat situation. Small studio, cubbies, changing rooms, quick rinse shower... like a bird bath but make it functional. Owner's been holding it down for 20+ years which is kinda wild and honestly respect. Started a little standoffish, then warmed up and ended up being great with cues. Full circle moment. Only tiny thing -- you will hear the mechanics downstairs living their best loud lives while you're trying to find inner peace. Names being yelled, music, the whole thing. If you need silence, you'll notice. If you're here to melt, you won't care. Not bougie, not corporate, slightly awkward, very effective. I left drenched and weirdly loved it. Would absolutely be back. *Booked easily on the class pass app , zero issues . Mat / towel rentals available . Waters and coconut waters for sale .

Laura is absolutely fantastic! She is thoughtful, extremely knowledgeable, kind, and always makes…read moresure that you are comfortable. She provides an amazing full body workout and helps you work with your body at your own pace. She first teaches you the basic fundamental exercises and how to use of the equipment but Laura's classic pilates instruction quickly develops a real awareness for your own body. You will learn to work with ALL the parts of your body (including the brain!) and even the transitions between exercises are important to keep the work one seamless continuous flow. And yes, you will sweat! It's quite obvious that Laura absolutely loves pilates and the great respect that she has for the classic pilates really shows. Also, the studio is clean, airy and has lots of natural light, and conveniently located in downtown Davis. 100% recommended!

I had a lesson with owner Laura Cotler, and it was one of the most eye-opening workouts. She spent a lot of time going over the fundamentals of breath work, alignment, and getting me comfortable with the equipment. It was a great mix of feeling like I could actually do some cool stuff already (shoulder bridges, anyone?) and realizing I was like jello in muscles I didn't even know I had. I really like Laura's teaching style, in fact she reminded me of my former ballet instructor. She was very confident and has an eye for detail that seemed intuitive. I can be kind of a sensitive flower when it comes to one-on-one training and she kept it relaxed and focused without pressure. She seems like a real person and not a crazed workout Barbie. She also addressed every one of my concerns I had that other yoga instructors, even physical therapists had blown off, like ankle pronation and hyperextension in my knees. I also love the free long sleeved stretchy black logo T-shirt I got with my first lesson! I wore it around town the rest of the day and felt super svelte. Some other cool things: 1. The studio is open and light with cork floors and feels and looks very clean. 2. Bathroom is clean and well-stocked. 3. Free 3 hour parking in the garage directly behind the studio. 4. Unlike yoga where everyone has to be silent squirrel, Pilates studios often have a couple private lessons and classes running at once without creating distraction. I don't like to do my workouts in silence. Makes me nervous. Unlike the gym though, everyone seems very focused on their own work. No "how you doin'?" 5. I bought a package deal for private lessons which saved me some dough. 6. Online booking for classes and private lessons. I scheduled another private lesson with Laura for next week and I'll be counting the days!
