Our visit to Davis Estates Winery was nothing short of spectacular! We came to experience the Napa Cave Tour & Tasting, which also featured a food and wine pairing. We were welcomed with rosé upon arrival, then we toured the stunning estate, and even barrel-tasted an upcoming release. Then we sat down for our pairing: a Chardonnay with coconut and red lentil soup, Merlot with Soba Noodles, a red blend with Indian Spiced Cauliflower, and Oakville Cabernet with Wagyu New York Strip. Every bite and sip was designed to enhance the other. We even got to try off-menu wines and compare them with other wines in our pairing. We walked away with a couple of bottles of Pinot noir and a Cab. With its beautifully restored century-old estate, art collection and seasonal menu , Davis Estates is a Napa winery must-visit. We can't wait to return on a nicer day!

I rarely give 5 stars, I have to say after a few visits here ... they have really earned it. We had Stephaine 2 years ago and she remember us like an old friend we were catching up with. They truly treat their members with class and service. Twice we have had the food pairing. And twice we were blown away. Still talking about the food from our last visit. Our exceptions were high and their chef delivers !!!! Now let's talk about the wines ..... so many choices and they there are many favorites. You can not go wrong visiting here . The property is stunning !!!!! Highly recommend. Thank you for another wonderful visit

My friend and I did a tasting here and we found it to be very beautiful, warm and inviting. We were taken on a beautiful tour and filled in of all that Davis Estates has to offer and their story. We were given a tour of the different buildings and various art and design elements, stunning and beautiful. Our tasting was, arguably, when of the most exquisite tastings I've ever done. I believe it was 6 wines that we tasted, we tasted a couple that weren't on the list, the ones that were, were served with Elegant bites straight from the kitchen. The food pairings worked perfectly with the tasted wines. We were tasting next to an original Picasso! Our host was magnificent, kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend a tasting at this Private estate. It's by reservation only and it's not cheap, but you certainly get what you pay for and much much more!

Wow! I am beyond pleased with our tasting experience. Be sure to book this place soon, it is bound to become the hottest ticket in Napa. The palate and creativity of the chef is unmatched. The location is absolutely stunning to say the least. I love that the menu changes according to the freshest available produce, and that you can access the recipes online after your visit! Thank you so much to Ry, who was incredibly patient with the many questions myself and family were asking!

The wife and I had reservation at 10am. We showed up a little early to take photos. Then we went to the front dest and was greeted with chardonnay. Then our wine host Samantha gave us a wonderful tour of the property and then we did a wine and food pairing. Hands down one of the best wine food experiences in all of Napa Valley!!! Seriously!!! Just a absolute joy we had!!! Hospitality on point!!! Vibe was there!!! Wine is great!!! Serious wines for folks that love elite Napa Valley wine.

This was a fantastic experience. We scheduled a tasting reservation and really enjoyed their beautiful barn chic tasting room as we sat on swinging sofas. We got menus with our names printed on the top and we enjoyed food with wine pairing. We loved the views of the vineyards, while we listened to Tyler share his knowledge of wine, their wine making process and the history of the winery. We also got an amazing tour. Tyler was so personable and fantastic. Don't miss out on this amazing experience.

Probably the best tasting experience my wife and I have ever done! The grounds are incredible and the view from the tasting room is breathtaking. Tyler was our server and he did an amazing job describing all the wines and little food pairings. We joined the wine club and cannot wait to come back.

The staff here is really kind, the grounds are beautiful, and the wine and food pairings are well curated. We came here with 10 people for a birthday and were greeted with glasses of rosé at the door, taken on a tour of the cave, and had the opportunity to barrel taste from an upcoming release. There's a wonderful structure to their wine that makes them stand out from the full bodied Napa cabs. Really happy we stopped here and got to enjoy the view from the dining room with friends! I have such few pictures because we were busy soaking it all in! I'd definitely come back here for lunch and a wine pairing!!!

We came here on a Saturday for the wine tasting. The pairings were well done and the atmosphere was friendly and relaxing. We really enjoyed our tour of the estate, which is beautifully maintained. Excellent service curating a memorable personalized experience. However, I did find the wine to be mediocre only. In the photos: Chardonnay w/ fennel-leek bisque, pickled shrimp, tarragon; Merlot w/ gnocchi, mushroom ragout, roasted maitake, garlic chives, parmesan Zephyr w/ baharat farro, roasted asparagus, dried cranberries, cherry agridulce, feta; Oakville Cabernet w/ slow roasted wagyu striploin, black chickpea puree, smoked garlic English pea tzatziki.

WOW! So much to love about Davis Estate! Alex was the perfect host for us. The food and wine pairing is extraordinary. The Oakville Cabernet was our favorite! Yes, we will be back.

We had the good fortune recently to join some friends and visit the Davis Estates Winery. My buddy set us up with the Napa Cave Tour & Tasting. Marvelous experience. The beautiful estate, original artwork (e.g., Remington & Andy Warhol) and the wine & food made for a great day. Our wine pairing looked like this: 1. 2022 Chardonnay / Ginger and Carrot Soup 2. 2019 Zephyr / Medley of Spring Vegetable, Truffle Ricotta, Wild Garlic & Applewood Smoked Bacon 3. 2018 Rutherford Cabernet / Beluga Lentils, Roasted Yams, Chioggia and Yellow Beets, Feta Pepitas, Shallot-Sage Vinaigrette 4. 2018 Oakville Cabernet / Ras El Hanout Lamb Loin, Moroccan Couscous My favorite was the Oakville Cab and it paired perfectly with the lamb. Our Host was Stehanie Bryant and she made everything better ...... so knowledgeable. Note: you can purchase these wines online or you can buy them at the winery ......... that is it.

Highly recommend coming here and doing the cave tour and tasting! First of all, the estate is beautiful and great for photos. The wine was also fantastic - some of the best our entire two-day trip, and especially loved that they came with food pairings. The tour which included a tour of their cave and some really cool rooms was also a lot of fun. Was so happy to have found and tried this place!

The food and wine pairing here was an amazing experience. Their menus change every 8 weeks and we were so lucky to have gone on the first day of their menu change. Food was delicious. Paired very well with the wines. Wine on its own were also great. My faves were the chardonnay, merlot and Pinot noir. The winery is on the pricier end in terms of both tasting and bottles but it's worth it. Modern with a little bit of rustic vibes. Our hostess was amazing. We didn't get to go out to the vineyard for pictures but the view from inside was still gorgeous. I recommend reservation beforehand!

One woman made sure everyone knew she was a member and kept mentioning how she had already seen the castle too many times and was bored of it, saying she only came to bring her family for a birthday. It kind of disrupted the experience for the rest of us. When we got to the torture chamber she also started making some really inappropriate remarks, which was a bit uncomfortable for the group. Aside from that situation, we still had a great time and really enjoyed the tour and tastings. Overall it was a memorable experience and definitely worth visiting if you're in Napa. 5 stars for Eli!!

Romeo holds a special place in our hearts because we visited them a little over seven years ago. During that experience (which you can read about in my previous review - if interested), my wife and I had a grand experience with former Business Manager Emma, who administered the delicious tastings. Fast forward to the present, we looked forward to enjoying a glass of their finest red before finding lunch. Upon entering the walkway, we were enthusiastically greeted by an employee named John who quickly ushered us to a vacant table for two. My wife had a slight reaction to the beautiful flowers that were in full bloom. Out of the kindness of his heart, John provided my wife with a bottle of Pure Leaf tea that calmed her allergies. We told John that we were interested in enjoying a glass of red, in which he quickly ran off and returned with a bottle of 2009 Eugenia Cabernet Sauvignon. Upon doing the swirl and sniff test (sounds dirty doesn't it?), I knew that we were in for a treat. Since we were both in dire need of a meal, we sadly could not continue the party. I wish I would've gotten something special for my occasion while there. Like a signed bottle or something marking the special occasion. It was just the perfect experience all the way around. interesting that it was also the 50th anniversary of the Chardonnay that made Chateau Montelena & Napa Valley famous. Of course, we checked out and bought 2 bottles of reds at the end of the tasting without even thinking about buying the white. So disappointed that didn't occur to me to this morning. I mean the red cab's are just to amazing on there own. Ok so here is how the visit went. When we showed up early at 9:30am, we actually meant to just walk around the lake and view the birds. We made no reservations as we figured the place was fully booked for months. So we just wanted to at least see the famous vineyard.. we drove up and we immediately noticed the beautiful grounds. I mean stunning in every way. We even watched and photographed a beautiful white swan gracefully move throughout the lake. Afterwards, we walked up the path to the chateau and was presented with a old historic and charming building residence. Absolutely stunning, a complete representation of the movie bottle shock. We continued to walk around the building where we were allowed to enter the wine tasting room. At first, we were unsure of what to expect. I believe her name was Lynn invited us to have a tasting. Everyone was so gracious and nice. Just felt so sophisticated & elegant in every way. Lynn was so nice and inviting that I just wanted to say thanks to her again. You made our tasting feel amazing. We ended up buying 2 bottles of red cab when we were there to avoid paying for the tasting. I mean I'm so happy that I got to experience this winery.
