Davis Estates was the wife's and my first stop on our tour of Napa wineries. We had reserved the Napa Cave Tour & Wine Tasting ($125/person) for a Monday morning. Davis Estates took my breath away as we drove up. The winery and surrounding vineyards nestled against the mountains were picturesque and made a wonderful first impression. It almost seemed like we had been transported back to Napa Valley a century ago with the rural, rustic architecture of the buildings on the property. However, outside appearances were definitely deceiving as the interiors were a blend of ultra-modern and the rural rusticity. Being from Las Vegas, I would even go as far as to say that there were some Vegasy touches like the beautiful works of art such as Chihuly glass pieces on display and the Cellarium, a beautifully designed, ultra-exclusive, private tasting room behind a biometric-locked vault door. After being guided around the property by our gracious host, Amy, we were taken to the large tasting room and seated on the patio with an amazing view overlooking the vineyards. We enjoyed a tasting of several of their current releases of differing varietals accompanied by food pairings from the estate's outstanding chef. The selection of Davis Estates' wines that we tasted were all excellent on their own, but having them paired with a thoughtfully prepared selection of delicious bites elevated them through the roof. Both the wife and I love to cook and, needless to say, we drew a lot of inspiration from the wines and how they paired so well with a variety of food. There are many wonderful wineries throughout the valley. Yes, there are less expensive tastings available at other properties, but if you're passionate about both wine AND food, then Davis Estates is for you. I loved it and can't wait to come back!

Beautifully hosted tasting at Davis Estates today. The tasting started with quick tour of the estate. We saw the og barn from the 1910's that was moved to a new pad and expertly remodeled. Personal gifts given between Mike and Sandy are dotted throughout the tour. The caves are some of the most impressive I've seen while being in wine country, with a cellarium that can be accessed with hand print signature. Reserved for their Phase V members, the cellarium offers a private and unique tasting experience for those looking to be wowed. The tasting continued upstairs, past more art, like a Monet and Picasso, to the balcony overlooking the Calistoga region. The food was expertly prepared to showcase all the wine had to offer. Our host allowed us ample time to enjoy the wine without being over the top or pushy. We walked out with a few bottles that allowed one of tastings to be comped. This was truly a beautiful way to start off the day in Napa

Everything from reception to the tour was 5 star. Ry gave an excellent tour of the winery and cave and walked us through a lovely food and wine pairing. The vineyard is one of the most beautiful vineyards we visited ~ and the service was all spectacular! We also appreciated Chef Eric coming by to ask how we enjoyed the experience ~ the attention to detail was unsurpassed. We went to Press the night before and have to say this really felt like a much more special event.

Our visit to Davis Estates Winery was nothing short of spectacular! We came to experience the Napa Cave Tour & Tasting, which also featured a food and wine pairing. We were welcomed with rosé upon arrival, then we toured the stunning estate, and even barrel-tasted an upcoming release. Then we sat down for our pairing: a Chardonnay with coconut and red lentil soup, Merlot with Soba Noodles, a red blend with Indian Spiced Cauliflower, and Oakville Cabernet with Wagyu New York Strip. Every bite and sip was designed to enhance the other. We even got to try off-menu wines and compare them with other wines in our pairing. We walked away with a couple of bottles of Pinot noir and a Cab. With its beautifully restored century-old estate, art collection and seasonal menu , Davis Estates is a Napa winery must-visit. We can't wait to return on a nicer day!

I rarely give 5 stars, I have to say after a few visits here ... they have really earned it. We had Stephaine 2 years ago and she remember us like an old friend we were catching up with. They truly treat their members with class and service. Twice we have had the food pairing. And twice we were blown away. Still talking about the food from our last visit. Our exceptions were high and their chef delivers !!!! Now let's talk about the wines ..... so many choices and they there are many favorites. You can not go wrong visiting here . The property is stunning !!!!! Highly recommend. Thank you for another wonderful visit

My friend and I did a tasting here and we found it to be very beautiful, warm and inviting. We were taken on a beautiful tour and filled in of all that Davis Estates has to offer and their story. We were given a tour of the different buildings and various art and design elements, stunning and beautiful. Our tasting was, arguably, when of the most exquisite tastings I've ever done. I believe it was 6 wines that we tasted, we tasted a couple that weren't on the list, the ones that were, were served with Elegant bites straight from the kitchen. The food pairings worked perfectly with the tasted wines. We were tasting next to an original Picasso! Our host was magnificent, kind and knowledgeable. I highly recommend a tasting at this Private estate. It's by reservation only and it's not cheap, but you certainly get what you pay for and much much more!

Wow! I am beyond pleased with our tasting experience. Be sure to book this place soon, it is bound to become the hottest ticket in Napa. The palate and creativity of the chef is unmatched. The location is absolutely stunning to say the least. I love that the menu changes according to the freshest available produce, and that you can access the recipes online after your visit! Thank you so much to Ry, who was incredibly patient with the many questions myself and family were asking!

The wife and I had reservation at 10am. We showed up a little early to take photos. Then we went to the front dest and was greeted with chardonnay. Then our wine host Samantha gave us a wonderful tour of the property and then we did a wine and food pairing. Hands down one of the best wine food experiences in all of Napa Valley!!! Seriously!!! Just a absolute joy we had!!! Hospitality on point!!! Vibe was there!!! Wine is great!!! Serious wines for folks that love elite Napa Valley wine.

This was a fantastic experience. We scheduled a tasting reservation and really enjoyed their beautiful barn chic tasting room as we sat on swinging sofas. We got menus with our names printed on the top and we enjoyed food with wine pairing. We loved the views of the vineyards, while we listened to Tyler share his knowledge of wine, their wine making process and the history of the winery. We also got an amazing tour. Tyler was so personable and fantastic. Don't miss out on this amazing experience.

Probably the best tasting experience my wife and I have ever done! The grounds are incredible and the view from the tasting room is breathtaking. Tyler was our server and he did an amazing job describing all the wines and little food pairings. We joined the wine club and cannot wait to come back.

WOW! So much to love about Davis Estate! Alex was the perfect host for us. The food and wine pairing is extraordinary. The Oakville Cabernet was our favorite! Yes, we will be back.

The staff here is really kind, the grounds are beautiful, and the wine and food pairings are well curated. We came here with 10 people for a birthday and were greeted with glasses of rosé at the door, taken on a tour of the cave, and had the opportunity to barrel taste from an upcoming release. There's a wonderful structure to their wine that makes them stand out from the full bodied Napa cabs. Really happy we stopped here and got to enjoy the view from the dining room with friends! I have such few pictures because we were busy soaking it all in! I'd definitely come back here for lunch and a wine pairing!!!

Highly recommend coming here and doing the cave tour and tasting! First of all, the estate is beautiful and great for photos. The wine was also fantastic - some of the best our entire two-day trip, and especially loved that they came with food pairings. The tour which included a tour of their cave and some really cool rooms was also a lot of fun. Was so happy to have found and tried this place!

Romeo holds a special place in our hearts because we visited them a little over seven years ago. During that experience (which you can read about in my previous review - if interested), my wife and I had a grand experience with former Business Manager Emma, who administered the delicious tastings. Fast forward to the present, we looked forward to enjoying a glass of their finest red before finding lunch. Upon entering the walkway, we were enthusiastically greeted by an employee named John who quickly ushered us to a vacant table for two. My wife had a slight reaction to the beautiful flowers that were in full bloom. Out of the kindness of his heart, John provided my wife with a bottle of Pure Leaf tea that calmed her allergies. We told John that we were interested in enjoying a glass of red, in which he quickly ran off and returned with a bottle of 2009 Eugenia Cabernet Sauvignon. Upon doing the swirl and sniff test (sounds dirty doesn't it?), I knew that we were in for a treat. Since we were both in dire need of a meal, we sadly could not continue the party. However, we will make a return visit in the near future to enjoy a full tasting experience!
