I called, set up another appointment, assuming they would be anxious to redeem their very poor service ...they wouldn't even tow it back? I had it towed back, another $800. The issue was straightforward and resolvable in a single day. After eleven days of vague and questionable excuses, I finally got my car back. I don't know if Tune Tech's policy is to "just get them in" and then manage as best they can, but it would explain the overpromising and underdelivering I experienced. I hope their scheduling and policies don't reflect their technical abilities. I hope they fixed my car correctly. I wish I didn't have that doubt. Time will tell. Two stars instead of one because they provided me with a discount as compensation.

OBD reader at home indicated cylinder 1 misfire with rough engine idling and lower power. I figured I'd give them a shot since it's right down the street from my house. After $130 diagnostic charge, I was told the vehicle had a lifter problem with possibly damaged camshaft and needed significant engine repairs up to complete replacement with an estimated $8000+ cost for the job. Thank God I didn't have the money laying around and got a second opinion. I'm not even sure they did anything for the diagnostic charge of $130 because a second opinion at True North Automotive in post falls discovered a fouled plug. After several other regular maintenance fixes it saved me over $7000 to fix the wife's vehicle. Would not recommend this shop to anyone. Always get a second opinion.

Attempted the repair on my own, but was unsuccessful due to bad parts. After contacting multiple shops, this place was the cheapest and they gave me a week for a time frame. I had it towed there on 4/21 and was told it was scheduled to be worked on 4/22 and ready for pickup on 4/23. About 10 am on 4/22 they contacted and informed me the car was finished. When I had something urgent, it could be a couple days before I would receive a return call. I ended up going to George Gee for my service needs.
