So, imagine my fear when I found out the shop was under new ownership. Daughter took in her car for a "evaporation leak" after getting an estimate from another shop.... and to my great relief the estimate was again lower, the shop stuck to the estimate and (even better) the mechanic told her what to expect in the coming months for maintenance and repair issues so she can plan ahead. The shop is small and a bit dingy looking but I don't need or want bells or whistles. I NEED honest work at a reasonable price. So.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 5763 Samuell Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228 Phone: (214) 381-8897

I've personally used them for my own automotive and truck repairs and have also witnessed their generosity toward strangers with auto troubles. I remember one case in particular where a traveling family from out of state pulled into their shops driveway in a car that was running extremely rough. I watched Mr Ogden raise the car hood look around a bit and them proceeded to make a repair. He removed the distributor cap applied so grease in a strategic location, reassembled everything and had the man start the car. It smoothed out and ran like a top. The man offered Mr Ogden some money for the fix but Mr Ogden wished them luck and said don't worry about it, have a good trip! That's the Ogden Automotive I know.

I have used this company since 2008. They have always done me well. If you are looking for a nice…read moreshiny clean waiting room with coffee and a big screen TV, this ain't it. If you want a reasonable price and good quality repairs, this is a great place. For instance, Christian Brothers quoted me the same job, for $943. This place charged $375. I saved better than half. I am not knocking Christian Brothers, they are a great company as well, but if you look, you can their overhead is pretty high. That is one of the differences.

This shop came highly recommended. Had my wife's BWM towed in for service as BWM was booked. Tommy…read morewas very difficult to understand and all we wanted done was an oil change and a cold start valve replaced. Picked up the car and was handed a bill for $4190.38. We were floored and wanted to know what in the world they did to the car. In very broken engrish, Tommy told my wife and I the timing chain needed to be replaced and told us he could not get a hold of my wife so he preformed the service anyway. Problem is, our car is three years old has 27900 miles on it and is covered by the manufactures warranty. This guy is a crook and a con. Two days after we got the car back, it acted the same way as when we brought it in so we had it towed back to BMW and was told the cold start valve needed to be replaced and so did the water pump. It was now leaking. As it turns out, the timing belt was NOT replaced or even looked at, it would appear they instead replaced the serpentine belt and tried to charge us for the timing belt. Dallas BMW warrantied the repair, replaced the water pump and cold start valve as we asked and the car runs great. We cancelled our AMX charge with Tommy Techs and called and asked for the parts they claimed to have replaced only to now have Tommy claim he could not understand what we were asking for and hung up on us! Crooks from the word GO!

I contacted Jason, my mechanic advisor at Meador Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram who recommended Ken Ballard Lynn Smith Collision Center. Ken took over and was very reassuring that his team could repair the damages to my truck, but I wasn't so confident because of how it looked and especially once I saw the damages marked and all broken down into pieces. It was a very challenging project to get done but Ken kept me in the loop of the repair process the whole way. There were more damages found during the repair that I was informed of that could have easily classified the vehicle as being totaled by my insurance. Ken was steadfast that his team could do the job as they had done before for other customers, so I said to continue with the repairs. A couple months went by and by February 2021 Ken called saying that I could come by and pick up my truck. I was nervous when I saw the truck again and admit that I was skeptical that everything was put back together and painted right as if the accident never happened. I was amazed at how good the body & paint job looked and was very satisfied. The underside of the body, suspension, and frame damage was another concern, but Lynn Smith Collision Center offers a lifetime warranty on all of their work. I must say that so far I am very pleased over the extensive work and challenges that was done to my still very new like 2019 Ram 1500 truck. I waited to post a review to drive the truck for a couple of months to get a really good feel of how the truck drives and handles since the accident. Everything seems to be in order and the truck drives very well, so Ken Ballard I thank you and if you get to read this review, then please tell your repair team that they did a very good job getting me back rolling again. Thank you Lynn Smith Collision Center, and I especially extend a thank you to you Ken for a job well done. If I ever need you, then I know where to go!
