I highly recommend Pacific for their Basic (for license) motorcycle safety course. I'm so glad I…read morechose to go with them particularly for their online ground training. It was so convenient to complete the training at home at my pace. Also, I had to reschedule my riding class on fairly short notice because of my mistake and they were very gracious and made the change easily, no charge. I've owned/ridden a motorcycle for years in other states, so I have experience, but I still found the practice range to be interesting and I learned some great techniques to make me a better rider. Evie was an outstanding instructor - balancing the training for the riders who had never been on a bike with a few of us that had experience. She tailored the class to each individual when and where she could and everybody stayed engaged in the course and had lots of fun. Also, for the experienced riders considering Pacific, they had dual sports, cruisers, and even a grom available to ride. I rode the Suzuki dual sport on the first day, and switched to a Honda Rebel on the second and had a great time checking out the bikes. Upfront, it seemed like a lot of money to commit just to meet some California regs, but I'm glad I did it!

My introduction to the school was two years ago and I have been very impressed with the cleanliness of the school, the faculty and staff. I am a grandparent of a student here and have volunteered for school trips and other activities that appear to really engage the students, like the spelling bee recently held, of which, my grandson was part of. Apparently, the students were selected by their classroom teacher and peers which was is both an honor and difficult to be in front of an audience of 4-5 grade peers (who can be brutal at that age). However, the students were respectful and cheered for both correct and incorrect spelling bee'ers, and it was fun to watch their reactions especially at the final champion. Another thing I was impressed with was they have a program where students are loaned a laptap for reading at home purposes that includes a wi-fi router for the laptop. They do not have a uniform policy, or bus transportation for students. This is a school that I feel my grandson is cared for and taught well which gives me peace of mind knowing he is receiving a good public education.

My daughter's first and second lessons were with Endy and he was great! My daughter felt very comfortable and confident after those two lessons. Her last lesson was with a different instructor and while he was good as well, there were a few things that made her uncomfortable, such as the instructor talking politics with her and grabbing the wheel to redirect her. I understand the redirection if it's due to safety, however this sounded like it was to direct her over towards the bike lane sooner and move into the next lane on the freeway, which could have been verbally communicated. Anyways, that's not the real issue here. The real issue is that I attempted to contact All Good Driving School to share the feedback of my daughter's last lesson. The phone number on their website is a text only number, so I texted asking for a phone call back. Their response was ''Good morning, our customer service is handled via text and Email only, but we would greatly appreciate any feedback you can provide.'' When I responded back that was unfortunate because customer service should be a personal experience and I would notate their lack of that for future needs or recommendations, they 'thumbs up' my message, passive aggressive much. They had no problem taking my money for all three driving lessons but can't even talk on the phone with their customers... super disappointing.

The "best" choice was not obvious from this research. I asked a friend who recently had kids get their drivers licenses and he recommended West Point without any reservations. I re-scoured the reviews and became convinced. The registration process was straightforward, and the office staff was always polite, efficient and professional. They are clearly used to dealing with unexpected issues because they were flexible with unplanned changes and last minute bookings. I only observed the instructors during their pre-drive briefings and post-drive debriefings. Always calm, nonjudgmental and full of useful tips. My kid told me that the instructors were always calm and did not raise their voice or panic. 100% recommend with no reservations.

All Street Skills instructors had to pass a tough training course sponsored by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF), be CPR and First Aid certified, and have ridden 10s-of-thousands of miles before they can teach a weekend class. All Instructors have had years of riding experience and have done it all....from crossing the country to crashing their bikes a few miles from home. They also know and appreciate what it's like to be a newbie on 2 wheels and take the time and patience to assist the new riders on their journey to being a motorcyclist. If ya wants to learn to ride the ride, safe way ..... give them a call.

If you are even slightly considering ever wanting to ride a motorcycle, PLEASE go to Street Skills…read morefor a Basic Rider Course! If you have been riding for a while but never took the course, PLEASE go here anyway and take it for fun! First, it's not that expensive. Second, they have a TON of classes to pick from so you can work this into your schedule. Third, you'll learn the RIGHT way to ride and not develop bad habits. And, if you pass, you'll get a waiver from the DMV so that you don't have to take the 'skills' portion of the test when you apply for your M1 license (you will still have to take the written portion). As if all that weren't enough, you may even get a discount on your insurance. BUT WAIT - THERE'S MORE! Having an MSF card gets you some nifty discounts at local motorcycle outfitting stores :-) And who doesn't love a discount? The instructors here are all 5-star instructors. I have taken the class a few times (if you pass the first time but want/need extra practice, you can take the range portion for only $99!). Five different instructors taught me over the course of those two classes. Each one of them WANTS you to succeed. They will cheer you on when you do something right, and if you don't - they can tell almost exactly what you are having difficulty with, and will tell you different tips and tricks unique to YOUR riding style that they've seen that help you overcome those difficulties. I learned something new from each instructor that helped me overcome my challenges as a new rider, and still use their personalized tips to this day. They even know how to calm poeple down when a student is scared or freaked out by experiencing something new. Dave, the one instructor, even showed me how to adjust the idle on the bike I had in class because I had mentioned that I had that same make and model bike at home. My other instructors have been JP, Reese, Dan, and John. I can't say enough about these guys and Bill who runs Street Skills. Because of them, I'm a confident, competent, and safe rider - and having a lot of fun!

I especially appreciated the family book that was put together that helped us to visualize the kids, their families, and their interests. The teachers are there for the long term, which told us they liked their jobs and felt supported at this school. 3) Montessori (actual). Everyone we knew who had worked in the early childhood space recommended this method and suggested verifying that core teachers/administrators have actual Montessori training, as there is no particular regulation on branding. They do. 4) Full day program. Reasons we're glad we chose Redbud as we move on to 1st grade: - Expert teachers. We had so few problems, but every one we had was solved by asking the teachers' advice. The staff at Redbud really know kids. - Safe, welcoming, and caring community. Our child started out quiet and soon felt completely comfortable being himself in every way. This was particularly evident in the Kinder year, which made us especially glad we stayed for that burst of confidence and imagination. He also learned to be a good helper to others. - Seemingly limitless individualized learning. Our child was able to build on his skills and interests at his own pace throughout his time there. His teachers knew exactly where he was and what he was working on. No matter how far he went with something, they somehow found a way to support him when he wanted to go farther. - Beautiful natural setting. We loved the location but didn't figure this into our initial decision -- on reflection, it was such a joy to visit that spot twice a day, and watch the seasons, and have so many beautiful memories playing amongst the trees. We were SO lucky to have this school available to us for our child's early years! It is an absolute gem, and a testament to the hard work, love, and dedication of its amazing staff.

It's such an enriching environment and my daughter has learned so much and developed her language skills (English and Spanish!) and vocabulary about bugs and colors and all that, as well as motor skills and social skills. I like that we get reports about her development and digital picture albums and blogs, it helps us feel involved. I see so many pictures of my girl painting and playing with water and making crafts and dancing! Right now due to COVID, they are being very careful with all adults and older kids wearing masks and sanitization and temperature checks every day. We also get updates about if anyone is testing and the results (anonymously). We toured lots of places before deciding on Peregrine West and will stay here as we love it. A major major benefit is the made from scratch balanced meals they give to the kids every day. It's nice to not need to worry about packing lunches and snacks. The teachers tell me if my kid tries veggies all the time. All I can say is they take good care of my daughter and I highly recommend!
