Allgood Driving School - My sons driving test score - Driving Schools Near Me - Sacramento, California

My two rating is regarding the customer service, or lack there of, when there is a need to speak with someone! We utilized this service in Santa Rosa, Ca. My daughter's first and second lessons were with Endy and he was great! My daughter felt very comfortable and confident after those two lessons. Her last lesson was with a different instructor and while he was good as well, there were a few things that made her uncomfortable, such as the instructor talking politics with her and grabbing the wheel to redirect her. I understand the redirection if it's due to safety, however this sounded like it was to direct her over towards the bike lane sooner and move into the next lane on the freeway, which could have been verbally communicated. Anyways, that's not the real issue here. The real issue is that I attempted to contact All Good Driving School to share the feedback of my daughter's last lesson. The phone number on their website is a text only number, so I texted asking for a phone call back. Their response was ''Good morning, our customer service is handled via text and Email only, but we would greatly appreciate any feedback you can provide.'' When I responded back that was unfortunate because customer service should be a personal experience and I would notate their lack of that for future needs or recommendations, they 'thumbs up' my message, passive aggressive much. They had no problem taking my money for all three driving lessons but can't even talk on the phone with their customers... super disappointing. read more

Two lessons down and one to go! Ryan has been great with my son! He's learned a lot and Ryan wasn't afraid to take him driving in new unfamiliar areas to make sure he got experience. My son's confidence keeps growing every time he drives. I'm thankful my son has an instructor that gives him good driving experiences. Ryan arrives on time, knows what needs to be signed on the permit, explains where they're going to be driving, what my son will be learning and advises when to schedule our next lesson. Highly recommend! read more

Excellent driving school‼ I highly recommend ALLgood driving! I'm very grateful that I got to know Solomon as my instructor! He is very thoughtful and professional to develop the driving skills no matter what their level of experience. Not just behind the wheel training, he tries so hard to make the students build self-confidence. It's a very supportive! Especially I am a first time adult driver from Japan, I can't say enough good things about it‼ Before I drove with ALLGood driving school, I practiced with another driving school but did not receive the enough practices to be able to park correctly and still felt uneasy for lane changes. Furthermore, the instructor was 20-45 minutes late to every appointment. I was disappointed in her lack of professionalism and punctuality.  I asked to practice on weaknesses in my driving skills such as parking, lane changes, and merging into freeway traffic but she barely focused on any of these although I asked her directly. She spent most of her time working with me on driving in a straight line. But I'll leave it at that for now. Anyways I was worried about my driving skills before taking lessons with ALLGood driving school, but now I am a lot more confident in my skills thanks to Solomon. :) read more

Had an amazing lesson with Justin today. Super excellent in communication, teaching skills, and making it a safe space to feel comfortable when driving. Justin will make sure you are feeling safe, and he will adjust the lessons to your needs accordingly. If you are a new driver, he will keep you calm, and he is very patient. Would recommend, thank you Justin. - J. L read more

Driving instructors are nice. My daughter passed her behind the wheel with only two mistakes on her first attempt ! Woot woot!

I'm writing on behalf of my son after he completed his 2nd session. This review is regarding his 1st session with instructor Ron. He felt so discouraged to drive and felt depressed after. I knew something was wrong immediately judging by his body language and sudden drop in verbal communication. It took about two days for him to open up about his session while I was teaching him. I wanted to practice with him so he could get more hours to qualify for the 2nd session. These are the lowlights of his session with Ron. Keep in mind that this is my teenage son's first time with a "professional " instructor. - Ron asked my son if his ears worked. - Ron was shouting at him when he made a little mistake. - Ron got upset with my son when he kept asking for clarification on how to do turning. - He got mad whenever my son was one mph over and one mph below the speed limit. - He was visibly impatient and frustrated, while showing irritation when my son was struggling with on how fast he was going. - He ensured it was a safe environment, but expected a lot from my son, despite him telling the instructor that he had no prior driving experience ( for example despite driving for an hour, he said "youve been driving for this long you should know how to turn already). What a messed up answer. Instead of clearly stating an answer, he delivers a statement that was meant to hurt my sons feelings which in turned caused my son to question himself on what was he's doing to get this instructor so irritated. - During the session my son expressed his feelings to Ron of being stressed, yet it was like he didnt care. When my son came home from his session, he came home, went to his room, and didn't say anything to me for a couple of hours. My son is definitely not deaf or an idiot. In fact, he's completed some AP courses and a consistent leader of his peers entering his 3rd year in high school. The instructor needed to understand my sons situation better. He should've seen that my son was nervous and taken the proper steps to change his approach to a first time teenager. My son is doing much better now after much positive reinforcement from myself and using the correct calm and clear communication approach during our father-son driving sessions. He just finished his 2nd session with Justin. He had a very good session with him learning many practical procedures in which I actually learned from him telling me, like easy methods on how to park. The key was Justin made him feel comfortable. He actually wrote a positive review about Justin. read more

My instructor was very patient, encouraging and chill. I definitely recommend this course!!

Today, my son successfully passed the driving exam. This achievement is a testament to the invaluable lessons imparted by Solomon, who demonstrated exceptional patience and compassion in guiding my son through the learning process. Kudos to Solomon! and thank you All good Driving school. read more

Update, I felt scared to say the negatives but, honestly it was pretty confusing. I knew that I had to Inch forward when I can't see a intersection. I did that. But I was later told," don't do that", I followed that advice and well there was an upsetting atmosphere. And I was told "Inch FORWARD". I would get told yes and no and yes again. I do mostly appreciate backing up against the curb, and stopping, and the traffic light tips, but other than that it was pretty confusing that when I followed his advice i would sometimes get told it was incorrect to do it read more

3rd and final appointment! (Sadly did not get a last selfie, forgot) My last appointment with Solomon was great! He did exactly what I mentioned in the 2nd updated review and felt comfortable. He had me drive around areas that simulated my local drive test route but not the actual route itself! As well going over what the DMV will test me on and others that might have not been mentioned but what do I know? I can trust him to build skills with me as well as Ron! Thanks Ron for the start and Solomon for the finale! Love both of your confidences as well as mine. And yes he did provide valuable information such as constant looking from left to right, to blinds spots, everywhere. Even if I made a mistake, both instructors told me it was okay. Thanks for the start and finish and hope to pass the dmv test for my license! Allgood, where it's an all good school, to become an all good driver! read more

Lesson was helpful and impactful. Instructor was kind and patient. Definently recommend this business!

So far I've had two lessons with Justin which went really well. I really did feel like I was improving with his help, especially with parking. He was very encouraging, helpful and just overall pleasant to talk to. I'd say I'm an introverted person but it never felt awkward or uncomfortable in the car with him. read more

The day of the appointment I took time off work to make sure I was ready on time. The instructor never showed up! No call or text to let me know that they weren't coming. I tried calling the phone number on their website and it says not to leave a voicemail. I texted the number provided on the confirmation and did not receive a response until much later. They have a $60 cancellation fee for customers who cancel appointments at the last minute, however they don't show up to appointments and are unapologetic. Horrible customer service! Update: That is not true at all!! The driver offered to come back in two days! So that I would have to take another day off work?? Of course I would have taken an appointment an hour later! Also no one responded in 20 minutes...This is easily provable! Such a dishonest company! read more

Had a lesson with Joseph. I just need practice and guidance while driving, and he was great! I don't know how Joseph is with brand new drivers, but my two-hour adult driving lesson with him was smooth and stress-free. He was patient and jovial, which minimized my stress and I was able to focus and actually enjoy driving. This was the opposite experience I had with Bill's Driving School! I recommend Joseph! I hope my upcoming lesson with either Amanda or Justin is as pleasant and productive. read more

I booked with Allgood Driving School for a refresher course to get comfortable behind the wheel before completing my behind-the-wheel test and because driving gave me a lot of anxiety due to past car accidents as a passenger. I also wanted to ensure that I am a comfortable and safe driver. Being that I am 30 and have never had a license, I felt a bit ashamed at first but Amanda was great. She eased my anxiety, taught me without scaring me and really encouraged me. I have had approximately 5 learner's permits and let them expire because I felt like I could not pass before but I now feel like I can pass my behind the wheel test with flying colors. She even left me the kindest note after we concluded our course. I almost wish I needed more classes! Thank you for everything, Amanda. read more

We booked Allgood for my son, so this recommendation is as his mom. He said the instructions were good. First off, the scheduling process was easy online. I also appreciated that I could pay for the classes as he took them, rather than paying a bulk price at once. Ryan, the driving inspector was very thorough. My son got quite some driving experience this summer as he went on a cross country trip with his dad, so Ryan spent the last lesson really honing in on details. I was sent an email with what was covered after every lesson. Pick up was always on time, and I liked that I could have him dropped off an alternate address (still in our area). Again, easily taken care of when I booked the appointment online. I would definitely recommend them. read more

I got my certificate, but was totally unprepared to take the provincial. Many of the questions on the test were about subjects I wasn't taught about. Also, I don't like boomer humor in my driving school. read more

Excellent service, and friendly trainers. We used for both our boys, they are just great all around. It's super easy to book appointments.

My daughter has had two lessons with Steve and it has been a very positive experience.

I just got back from a driving lesson with Steve. I am 37, have never had a license and only one previous less so I am a very nervous driver. Steve has a very calming demeanor which instantly put me at ease. We did some practice in a quiet neighborhood until I felt more comfortable and then moved to some busier streets. Steve was informative about what I would need to know for my test and also incredibly helpful - showing me how to get to Target! The entire two hour lesson he coached me calmly without frustration and I really learned a lot and felt very comfortable by the end. I would highly recommend All Good Driving School for any learner drivers, young or mature. Thank you Steve! read more
