Paid in full and Failed to perform training. I wish I could give zero stars. I paid in full for behind-the-wheel training for my son and received only one lesson. Despite numerous follow-up emails, the owner has gone completely silent and refuses to issue a refund for the services not provided. Multiple people I know had recommended Referral Driving School and praised their high success rate, so I reached out in early March 2026 for training. On March 12, owner Brian emailed me the pricing: a single session for $109 or a discounted 5-class package for a one-time payment of $495. The email clearly stated that choosing the package option would confirm the appointments. I went with the 5-class package and paid the full $495. Brian scheduled our first lesson for March 18 at 5:30pm. He showed up 30 minutes late but delivered a solid training session and said my son was already progressing well. The next day I emailed to schedule the second lesson. On March 20, Brian replied that he also works in Las Vegas and would get back to me soon to reschedule. On March 23 he said he was still out of town but would schedule the next session shortly. That was the last I ever heard from him. I followed up repeatedly on April 1, April 17, April 29, and again today (May 5) requesting a refund for the four unused sessions. No replies, no calls returned, no refund. Nothing. This is unacceptable. I paid for a service in good faith based on their own pricing and confirmation, and they have essentially taken the money and disappeared. If you're considering this driving school, do yourself a favor and only pay for one lesson at a time. Do not prepay for a package. I'm posting this review in hopes that Referral Driving School will finally do the right thing and refund the $396 I'm owed for services not rendered. Prospective customers deserve better. read more

Eric is patient, kind, knowledgeable, and thorough in his instruction. After each session, he provided helpful homework and practice assignments to reinforce the skills MJ learned behind the wheel. One thing I especially appreciated was the encouragement and care he showed throughout the process. He even took a moment to pray with MJ before each lesson and again after his final session. Eric is also very responsive to texts, and always updated me via text regarding his arrival times for lessons. We weren't notified at all, so I called the office a few times that day. Nobody answered. I left a voicemail and also followed up with an email asking them to call me on Monday. They responded to my email saying they didn't know what happened and that they would give me a call. No one has called. No one has emailed. I've gotten no response and have been completely unable to reach anyone. This company has been disrespectful of our time and very unprofessional. Save your time and money. read more

Initially, my daughter started with a different instructor and felt incredibly uncomfortable with her. We ended up switching to Omar, and complete 180. My daughter gained more confidence and improved faster than she had with the previous instructor. Omar was incredibly patient, and so helpful especially on the day my daughter took her test, as the instructors last lesson is to the exam. He had breathing exercises for her, and took her on the route one more time. He sent me a video and updates up to the point of telling me she passed on the first try! He was calm and even set up a lesson at night for us when we expressed concerns about our daughter's night time driving. On the day of the test he brought her on the driving route right before the test so she would be familiar with the roads and intersections. Stephen helped me overcome my fears about driving and get my license- I cannot recommend him enough! I put off getting my license well into adulthood for a variety of reasons, but by the time I decided to learn how to drive this summer, I had quite a bit of anxiety about the whole prospect. Stephen was really calm and clear, giving me specific corrections and tips without overloading me, which really helped me develop skills behind the wheel and internalize the rules of the road. Even when I would make a mistake--say, swerve while head checking--he would chalk it up to the learning process and never made me feel bad about it (while also being on-guard in case he needed to take over the wheel, of course!). His instruction was really thorough and supportive. I had practiced driving with someone else but without the 3 2-hour lessons I took with Stephen there is no chance I would have passed because he drew my attention to mistakes I was making that I had been completely unaware of! Our neighbor recommended Referral Driving School and specifically Daniel Tran. I can't say enough great things about Daniel. He was patient and kind and made the experience comfortable for all of us. Daniel was always on-time and I loved that the day before he would always call to confirm. You can choose to ride in the car or not for lessons. Daniel always gave us a debrief on what to work on after each lesson. I strongly recommend getting the five lesson package and use their car on the test. By the end our son passed on his first try. The only downside was that Daniel is a very popular trainer and my son had to wait a month after passing his written test to get him. This added an extra month past his 16th birthday before taking the driving test. For us it was well worth the wait, but you might want to check the timeframe of getting your child's license if you are trying to get it fast. read more
