Then on the day of my daughters first lesson, the instructor Dan text messaged me the morning of giving me a time he would be there to pick up my daughter for her lesson. Dan was easy to communicate with and not only was he on time, but he was slightly early, which I highly appreciate. My daughter was nervous and Dan was not only professional but he made a few jokes and she seemed to feel more comfortable. They went out for the 2 hour lesson and again, Dan dropped her back off right on time. I very much appreciate the attention he paid to time. He explained a few things she needs to work on and how the process would work for booking future appointments. I recommend Astar driving school, will use them again for my daughters next 2 lessons and then again when my son is old enough for his lessons. Thank you Dan!

My daughter's first and second lessons were with Endy and he was great! My daughter felt very comfortable and confident after those two lessons. Her last lesson was with a different instructor and while he was good as well, there were a few things that made her uncomfortable, such as the instructor talking politics with her and grabbing the wheel to redirect her. I understand the redirection if it's due to safety, however this sounded like it was to direct her over towards the bike lane sooner and move into the next lane on the freeway, which could have been verbally communicated. Anyways, that's not the real issue here. The real issue is that I attempted to contact All Good Driving School to share the feedback of my daughter's last lesson. The phone number on their website is a text only number, so I texted asking for a phone call back. Their response was ''Good morning, our customer service is handled via text and Email only, but we would greatly appreciate any feedback you can provide.'' When I responded back that was unfortunate because customer service should be a personal experience and I would notate their lack of that for future needs or recommendations, they 'thumbs up' my message, passive aggressive much. They had no problem taking my money for all three driving lessons but can't even talk on the phone with their customers... super disappointing.

Paid in full and Failed to perform training…read more I wish I could give zero stars. I paid in full for behind-the-wheel training for my son and received only one lesson. Despite numerous follow-up emails, the owner has gone completely silent and refuses to issue a refund for the services not provided. Multiple people I know had recommended Referral Driving School and praised their high success rate, so I reached out in early March 2026 for training. On March 12, owner Brian emailed me the pricing: a single session for $109 or a discounted 5-class package for a one-time payment of $495. The email clearly stated that choosing the package option would confirm the appointments. I went with the 5-class package and paid the full $495. Brian scheduled our first lesson for March 18 at 5:30pm. He showed up 30 minutes late but delivered a solid training session and said my son was already progressing well. The next day I emailed to schedule the second lesson. On March 20, Brian replied that he also works in Las Vegas and would get back to me soon to reschedule. On March 23 he said he was still out of town but would schedule the next session shortly. That was the last I ever heard from him. I followed up repeatedly on April 1, April 17, April 29, and again today (May 5) requesting a refund for the four unused sessions. No replies, no calls returned, no refund. Nothing. This is unacceptable. I paid for a service in good faith based on their own pricing and confirmation, and they have essentially taken the money and disappeared. If you're considering this driving school, do yourself a favor and only pay for one lesson at a time. Do not prepay for a package. I'm posting this review in hopes that Referral Driving School will finally do the right thing and refund the $396 I'm owed for services not rendered. Prospective customers deserve better.

I selected Program 2 with an additional 1-hour lesson ($575 for 5 hours of instruction.) The instructor was kind and patient, however, always showed up late behind at least 20-45 minutes to every appointment and contact me at the last minute, so I never know until then. Moreover, my 4th lesson was cancelled at the last minute, even though she decided the appointment day and time. She ended up wasting my Sunday since she scheduled it in the middle of the day on Sunday. To make matters worse, the instructor provided feedback about my final lesson only after my behind-the-wheel driving test was already over‼ I informed her about my test day, but I didn't receive her feedback until after the test was over‼ This made it impossible to review effectively and rendered the feedback meaningless. As a result, I failed the test. Therefore I had to take extra lessons with another school. ※Update based on the comments below: I personally do not think this is fair‼ Was I treated differently than other students⁉ I didn't feel completely prepared because all lessons except the final one(DMV mock test) always finished earlier within 1 hour. Especially when a student specifically requests to work on their weaknesses. I took an additional lesson and asked to practice areas where I struggled, such as parking, lane changes, and merging into heavy traffic. This is one of the best if not the absolute best school in Northern California. My friends and I passed the exam all on our first tries and all got jobs within a month of our testing dates. I started with a different school and after two days I realized it wasn't as advertised and pulled out. Came straight to Easy CDL after reading the Google reviews. It was a night and day difference between the awful first school and Easy CDL. Since then I have had more than 5 friends become truck drivers and they all went through this school. All Street Skills instructors had to pass a tough training course sponsored by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF), be CPR and First Aid certified, and have ridden 10s-of-thousands of miles before they can teach a weekend class. All Instructors have had years of riding experience and have done it all....from crossing the country to crashing their bikes a few miles from home. They also know and appreciate what it's like to be a newbie on 2 wheels and take the time and patience to assist the new riders on their journey to being a motorcyclist. Second, they have a TON of classes to pick from so you can work this into your schedule. Third, you'll learn the RIGHT way to ride and not develop bad habits. And, if you pass, you'll get a waiver from the DMV so that you don't have to take the 'skills' portion of the test when you apply for your M1 license (you will still have to take the written portion). As if all that weren't enough, you may even get a discount on your insurance. BUT WAIT - THERE'S MORE! Having an MSF card gets you some nifty discounts at local motorcycle outfitting stores :-) And who doesn't love a discount? The instructors here are all 5-star instructors. I have taken the class a few times (if you pass the first time but want/need extra practice, you can take the range portion for only $99!). Five different instructors taught me over the course of those two classes. Each one of them WANTS you to succeed. They will cheer you on when you do something right, and if you don't - they can tell almost exactly what you are having difficulty with, and will tell you different tips and tricks unique to YOUR riding style that they've seen that help you overcome those difficulties. I learned something new from each instructor that helped me overcome my challenges as a new rider, and still use their personalized tips to this day. They even know how to calm poeple down when a student is scared or freaked out by experiencing something new. Dave, the one instructor, even showed me how to adjust the idle on the bike I had in class because I had mentioned that I had that same make and model bike at home. My other instructors have been JP, Reese, Dan, and John. I can't say enough about these guys and Bill who runs Street Skills. Because of them, I'm a confident, competent, and safe rider - and having a lot of fun!
