The turd they sold me
Cody F.

Would NOT recommend buying a vehicle from Davidson's Motors, I went there and bought a Ford Focus with 1 accident on the car fax no big deal. So I left the dealer with my new car and 20 miles the transmission started to shutter, so I called the dealer ship that I just bought it from and lucky for me after 30 mins of negotiating they counter offered 200$ to go towards the fix(bull S**T) so after the transmission was fixed ford pulled up what I assume is the the real car fax where it showed the transmission has been pulled 2xs prior to me owning it + 1 accident and some other work, so they sold me this lemon 5 months and since then I have payed to fix my Clutch, battery, starter, sunroof electrical, and (drum roll) three new transmission, so moral of the story, these crooks buy broken auction cars to sell full price, and after I told Scott the sales man about this he said,"well you should sell it your self the car lost value with you being the 3rd owner..... no the car lost value somewhere between transmission swap 1-5 lmao, THEY NEED TO WRITE ABOUT DAVISONS ON LAFFY TAFFY, BECAUSE THEY ARE A F***ing JOKE.

These guys went above and beyond. They were always honest, personable, and willing to work within your means instead of stretching them. They brokered a car for me from an auction, but kept me in the loop the entire time: price ranges, makes, models, mileage, Car Fax, etc. I knew that I wouldn't get a lemon either, because they took the car back to their shop and did a thorough look-over and tuneup. They offer financing and warranties from reputable and accessible companies. They always kept me apprised of expenses by showing me the breakdowns and seeing how to save a little here or there depending on what coverage options I wanted. I know this sounds like a rave review, but it really is. Tommy and Joe were a godsend for me. I was in a tight spot with needing a specific vehicle in a cramped time frame and they pulled through. On top of that, they stayed in touch to make sure that I am happy, and are helping me out with a few minor issues that of course you don't figure out until you've driven the car for at least a week. I highly recommend checking them out. The shop is not fancy. I know it's in Aurora on Colfax. But who gives a darn?! Their service, honesty and down-to-earth approach was so refreshing and reassuring that I'll be sending all my friends and family their way. Please, tell them Laura sent you, because there are only so many times I can tell them "thank you". :)

Marcelo is a car enthusiast like my husband! He took the car to service, and had them put it up on the rack, so he could send my husband some videos including the underneath. He was able to help my husband throughly evaluate the car through photos and videos long distance! We trusted Marcelo completely and paid for the car online. We flew to Colorado and Marcelo picked us up at the airport. He was right there waiting for us. He is such a nice and knowledgeable guy! He had our new car waiting for us all detailed and shiny! The car was just as he described and like new! We couldn't have been happier! The manager was waiting for us. He had all the paperwork ready and actually signed us himself. It was a very quick process! We were in and out of the dealership in less than an hour, and on our way back to California. The car drove perfectly! When I went to the DMV to register it, there was no issue! The dealership gave me all the proper paperwork It was a very easy process. I can't thank Len Lyall Chevrolet, the manager and especially Marselo Gutierrez enough for such a wonderful car buying experience!

When a dealership charges that much, you expect a thorough inspection of all warning lights, but that didn't happen. My car had a check-engine light, traction control light, and tire sensor light on. I was quoted $1085 total, which included the $225 diagnostic fee, a replacement key fob (one of the buttons on mine is missing), an ignition coil, purge valve, gas cap and 1 tire sensor. When I asked Jesus (the service advisor) about the traction control and tire sensor lights, he said, "Nobody ever told us to check that." I asked why I would pay $225 for diagnostics if they weren't checking all the issues, and he replied, "Did you not hear what I just said? Nobody told us to check anything but the check-engine light." He then said, "So what are we doing? Do you want us to do the work or not?" -- which I found extremely rude and unprofessional. I've brought my vehicles here for years on both the service and body shop side, and I've never been treated like this. Jesus was basically talking to me like I was his child and was upset with me because I asked him why they didn't address all the service lights that was on my task board. The supervisor confirmed that the $225 diagnostic fee is not applied toward any repairs and said he would talk to Jesus. I didn't want to speak to Jesus again that's why I requested a supervisor but the supervisor still had Jesus call me which I was very unhappy with. Jesus never apologized and acted like his rude and unprofessional behavior never happened, which led me to believe the supervisor never addressed his unprofessional behavior. I do not recommend Len Lyall Chevrolet especially if your a woman. Their $225 diagnostic fee is a rip-off, especially since they don't perform a full inspection. If you end up with Jesus as your service advisor, I suggest requesting someone else who's more professional and respectful. -I will NEVER return to Len Lyall

After a few issues with a few different team members, I started working with manager, Tim, here,…read morewho ethically and respectfully solved all prior failures, which is so rare these days! Problems are inevitable. It's how they're solved, and relationships repaired, that counts, and Tim does that! That being said, I worked with Tim the last time I was here, prior to my oil change yesterday, to co-create a long-term mutually beneficial, mutually trustworthy, mutually respectful solution, and I said I'd like to only work with Arron going forward, if at all possible, given Arron treats me with respect, he has exceptional communication, he's a mature man (both men are, and that's hard to find these days, men who respect women, such as myself), and Arron is also a former mechanic, so I like how he explains things to me, and problem solves with me. Yesterday, I dropped my Corolla off for an oil change, was 1-hour late to my appointment (due to a harassing male boomer neighbor, while working with Denver Police Department, since 2021, on this same issue), and was not aware of the new policy: no Lyft rides home (understandable) for mere oil changes, which had changed the past 6-months, unbeknownst to me. Even giving that disruptive surprise, Arron not only met, but perfectly exceeded my expectations yesterday! He made my life super easy, to finally delegate / outsource a task, with flawless communication and execution, including helping me anticipate and budget for my next repair. I couldn't be happier, or more positively impressed and grateful. Thanks, Arron and Tim! P.s. I also want to thank Tim, for not only mailing me a corrected oil change sticker & associated paperwork, to fix a prior issue, as well as for refunding me for an improper alignment, per Stevinson Toyota West. Ethics, FTW!

Sorry to have to do this, but I think folks deserve to know that a trip to Stevinson Toyota East…read moremight be a lot more than they planned on. My service experience involved scheduling a 2:30 appointment to reset the tire pressure sensor light as I was told by my tire store that only the dealer could complete that task. So I showed up promptly at 2:30 for my appointment and was told that it would take an hour and cost $199 run the diagnostics and reset the system. Cost seemed excessive, but since I had no other choice, I went for a run and then sat in the waiting room. At 3:30, I went back to my service advisor to inquire about the status of my vehicle and was told that it hadn't gone back for service yet and that I had clearly been told it would take two hours (essentially told that I was making up the hour timeframe...). Not having the ability to wait another hour (or more?), I requested a Lyft home and told the service advisor that I would be back in the AM to pick up my car. I explicitly gave the advisor my phone number to call / text as my wife was working late and would not be able to respond. Fast forward to the next morning when I had received no information about the status of my car. I called, no one answered, and so I left a message. I waited another 1/2 hour with no return call, and so I decided to run out to the dealership to see what the situation was. On my arrival, my service advisor informed me that the car was not finished, that he had called me several times the previous night, and that two tire pressure sensors needed to be replaced to the tune of $600, but that he could get it going right away and it would be done in a few minutes. I checked my voice and text messages to find that no one had attempted to reach me, and upon informing the advisor, he presented me with my wife's number as to where he had called. Trouble is that when I texted my wife, I discovered that he had not called / texted her either. I asked to speak with his service manager. In speaking with Tim, I informed him of the poor customer service that I was receiving and he said "I can't change what has happened, what can I do to make it right?" To which I indicated my desire to just get it done quickly and get me out of there. More than an hour later, Tim called me to let me know that it was good to go and that he'd take 20% off. I indicated that I would still be writing a review of my experience, at which point he comped the whole thing. While I appreciate Tim's trying to make it right, it is a good thing that I didn't have to pay anything because less than 30 minutes after leaving the dealership, the tire pressure light is back on.... Needless to say, I'm hoping that a different Toyota dealership values customers' time and good communication significantly more than Stevinson East.

When I went to check out the car Ray had for sale, he told me that my old car could in fact be resurrected for much less than I was originally told, creating an option to fix the old car and either keep it or resell it! That was great news!! When Ray said he only wanted to make me happy as a customer, that's exactly how it felt. He was open and honest. Ray was willing to lose a sale on one of his cars by enlightening me to the fact my old car could be fixed. I did still end up purchasing a car from Ray and the process was seamless! I never felt any pressure to buy, and Ray was completely transparent with everything! How often can you say that about a car salesman?! I don't have family that lives in the state, so I really, REALLY appreciated Ray's honesty and his fatherly manner, I felt like he had my best interest in mind, and that is priceless! He was always available and willing to answer any and all questions I had, and share his knowledge with me. It changed the whole game for me - knowledge is power, and it was great to know I had options in whatever I decided to do - and that I had someone in my corner, looking out for me! When I am looking for my next car - I will check Ray's inventory first and foremost! Thanks Again Ray!! Kristy
