Not only did they fix the broken chain, but replaced it with a higher quality chain. They also checked out the entire trike to make sure all the connections and nuts and bolts were proper, reinforcing suspious fittings with Locktite. They are a wonderful company and if I live long enough to need another trike, I'll get it from Open Road. 5 stars well earned.

Jax Value Ebikes is hard to find, close to the intersection of Mayport Road and Atlantic Boulevard. You actually will have to make a u-turn if you are coming from Atlantic, so don't be surprised if you drive past it once when you are looking for it. The location is more industrial than retail, so you know you aren't paying for a fancy mall or strip center location. The selection includes Motiv, Velec and Prodeco Tech. I was not familiar with Ebikes, so they took plenty of time to advise me and answer my questions. Then we went on several test rides to see if their recommendations met my expectations. While I did not buy on this visit, I left much more informed on electronic pedal assist bikes.

They charged me 680 to change fluids and put back my same plugs that I inserted and marked. Because of past experiences and it's not any better. After the first time they didn't fix anything at Regency, they moved it without my consent to Baymeadows. Damaged front foot pegs, gas tank, put fuel line in a bind so fuel wouldn't flow. Also the inserts used to extend fuel line were to small sucking in air and busting out. After 3 E-mail Alec Ademac thinks I'm going to eat this. Well think again. Baymeadows isn't any better. A lot of employees with the rearmed on their shoulders and I'd be scared to let them work on a skateboard board.

But this time, I had Quinn help me out with spooling my rod. He's not like the other helpful employees.. He's above and beyond that. Very personable, helpful, fun to chat and swap fish "battle" stories with. Only dealt with him for about 5 minutes but he's an awesome dude and is a great addition to the fishing community. My reel looks fantastic btw! Quinn if you see this- thanks again man! TL;DR - these guys at West Marine skillfully spool up your line and rod for FREE if they aren't busy with other customers.. unlike their competitors, some of which charge 12 cents per yard- multiply that by a few hundred yards or whatever your rods capacity is.. they are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable as well. Naturally I had to walk around to see if anything caught my eye! You can't go into a store and not browse. The store is clean and has great displays featuring the latest and greatest for all of your watersports needs.
