I felt like I should have left a review a while ago. I got married October of 21'. I went in here because I had some sort of trust because my first experience with another place did not tell me if altering my 1st dress would possibly require reconstruction of the whole top of the dress. My estimate was about $1,500 to ALTER the dress and not the price to include hemming and bustling. So I went to David's in hopes that I would be treated honestly. So I came here , weeks plus some before my wedding date. The lady that helped me was very nice. But they seem to not catch on detail. I specifically wanted a blush color in gown requested and I got it ordered. When I went to pick up my order they put the wrong color. They said they can overnight ship for a certain amount but I felt like if they sent the wrong color on their behalf I shouldn't have to pay for overnight shipping because they messed up. I have already spent $1,600 not including hemming so far. So I just took the color they mistakenly ordered just because I really wanted a dress and if I waited any longer booking for a fitting will be too late since they were booked out. Then they also added a rush fee because it was getting closer to the date - they didn't have any available after the mishap of ordering my dress and didn't tell me when the dress would be on time to the store let alone book a 2nd appointment for fitting. I worked full time and some nights at the time and my schedule was limited, so I had very little option. They ordered the wrong color I was expected to pay rush delivery if I wanted the color I originally wanted shipped bc they ordered the wrong color... I was expected to pay rush altering fee. Today I am still trying to pay off TWO dresses from two different places that screwed me over, them being the second. My advice is be through of what you want. read more

We scheduled an appt 3 days prior. We went in and were greeted by staff. They were super friendly and sweet. We got the opportunity to work with Rebecca. She was absolutely amazing and free flowing, assisting us with whatever needed. She answered questions and let us know how the shop was sorted. After trying on 2 dresses, I found the one. She was so sweet in helping with the zipper and even taking it to the hem dept to make sure the clasp wasn't missing. She went above and beyond. I would definitely recommend her 10/10 and the shop. Also, prices of dresses are staggering. I can see why a dress adds to a wedding costing so much. read more

Probably the worst experience I've every had shopping. First off I understand being in a hurry to get ready in the morning but if you going to constantly be wrapping your arms around a customer to get their measurements then please put on some deodorant. Our sales associate, Kate, smelled bad enough for our bridal party to come close to gagging. We also set an appointment and they couldn't even place us in rooms close together. After our measurements were taken she proceeded to yell our dress sizes to the whole store, which is never a nice experience, especially in a packed store. She was very touchy when taking measurements too, often resorting to pressing her face up against our chests to reach around. Some people in our party couldn't even find dresses in their correct sizes either. We went to checkout and pay for our dresses but we were told we needed to wait for our appointed sales associates, who had proceeded to start helping another group of customers. We let her know we wanted to talk about our options for a minute but she insisted that we hurry to checkout even though we ended up waiting an additional 10-15 minutes for her to be ready. We wrote down our information when we arrived but she had us repeat it multiple times over and over again, the paper was sitting right in front of her. Once I started checking out she then told me that none of the dresses,that she suggested I try on, could be ordered in my size for a wedding over 6 months away. We chose David's bridal because we were under the impression all the dresses could be ordered in a variety of sizes. This was very disappointing. She then proceeded to order me the wrong size and charge me the wrong price before another sales associate finally stepped in. The next associate ordered me the dress that supposedly couldn't be ordered in my size without issues. You could obviously tell that none of the other associates like Kate as they were very unfriendly toward her, and I don't blame them. The dresses are beautiful but the customer services is awful. read more

Such a horrible experience, Kate was extremely rude and made our shopping experience extremely stressful. It was to the point where my ENTIRE bridal party felt uncomfortable. Firstly, our associates hygiene was an issue, but that could've been looked past if she wasn't so unprofessional. When explaining what kind of styles I wanted to order, Kate promptly interrupted me and said "Don't get your hopes up". Throughout the appointment I was interrupted almost every time I talked. After we arrived, my bridesmaids were measured. Our associate hugged the tape measure around us, but when I was measured, (different appointment, different associate) she politely asked us to hold the tape in order to respect our personal space. When measuring, our associate was extra touch feely with my bridesmaids chest area. After measuring, Kate proceeded to disclose everyone's dress sizes to the store. Both times I was a bridesmaid, sizes were kept PRIVATE always. After trying on dresses we wanted to discuss our thoughts on styles privately. The associate rushed us to the front to "get more info and close the sale", when she had already gathered all of our info multiple times. After rushing to the front, we sat for 15 minutes while she helped another group. Here's the kicker, after gathering "our info" for the 4th time, she orders the wrong size for my maid of honor because the styles that she recommended were "not in that size". After a coworker finally intervenes, it turns out that dress CAN be ordered in that size. This is also the point in the story where she tells us, "I didn't want to be here today," and asks one of my bridesmaids, "How do you even pronounce that?" upon writing her name down. It just kept getting worse and worse, it was my worst experience at David's Bridal. read more

The manager Shaun at this location was beyond rude and unprofessional. When I came into my appointment I had a return for a few items that didn't fit and she was sighing and snapping at me the entire time. She acted completely annoyed whenever I would ask her a question and the rest of the time I was there she would roll her eyes, sigh loudly or give me a nasty look. I'm not sure what I did but her behavior was really awful. I used to love going to this location but how she acted definitely wasn't professional at all. read more

I went in to try dresses on for the first time today and had the best experience! Hillery was my consultant and she was so intuitive and knew exactly the dresses I wanted to try on in a moment. Hillery was in tune with my vision and completely jumped on board. Hillery offered suggestions and added some accessories to make my experience memorable. Although I did not say yes to the dress today, I will be back for another great experience with Hillery! read more

honestly felt really bummed out the entire time. was greeted by kate, our appointed stylist, and nothing about it was very friendly. getting off on the wrong foot immediately seems like the appointment was doomed from the start. from cutting the bride off on many occasions, to telling us not to get our hopes up (appointment was 6mo in advance to accommodate for any bumps in the road), making us feel as though we had no idea what we were talking about, and simply being wayyyyy too touchy when it came to measuring, kate was just not someone we would enjoy having an appointment with ever again. it became clear what kind of character she has when all 6 girls who received any *help from her was left with a sour feeling after their appointment. *she didn't really help us, just uncomfortably wrapped herself around us to get measurements and tell us where we could go change. ps. we all were willing to look past lack of personal hygiene so long as she had been at least slightly kind to any 6 of us. but since that did not happen, please note that although masks are not mandated, you may want to opt to wear one. read more

She helped me pick out the dress that fit great, helped me save money, and was very attentive even though the store was busy and other employees were less friendly. Mary was adamantly unwilling to show empathy for my purchasing logistics needs, far less offer to make my experience a positive one. Mary is in great need for an intensive course on customer service, and learn the value that "no customer leaves dissatisfied." She was not into helping me make a purchase but to show me her authority. Her attitude warrants a strong adjustment from upper management. She doesn't deserve to represent David's Bridal. Dresses are reasonably priced, but I'm not crazy about their customer service here. It's really a toss up on any given day. They don't seem motivated to deliver good customer service. In my experience, my wedding dress purchase went great but not so much when buying my bridesmaid dresses. As soon as I pick up those dresses I'll be glad I don't have to go there again. I'd recommend trying on dresses there and purchasing them online instead of in store. You'll save yourself a lot of trouble! read more

Purchased a dress in-store and they ordered it online using their computer system. I received the dress the week of May 9th because it was on backorder. The store has two conflicting return policies. Since it was bought at the store we cannot return it but if it is bought online we have 7 days to return it the day of receiving the merchandise. The store ordered it online using the internet and we received it and are currently in the 7-day window. The dress ordered was sized wrong so we would have to get another dress sent to us possibly taking a month or more missing the wedding, forcing us to keep the dress and have it altered at a potentially higher cost to make the wedding date in time. They could only offer store credit due to poor company policies. read more

Not happy The lady that helped us clearly had no idea what she was doing. She recommended a size 12 to a girl in my party who ended up with a size 6 & recommended me a 20 when I left wearing a 14. Not only that, but when she was telling everyone what sizes to look for, she said everyone's size out loud except mine. For mine, she came over to me and pointed to the number on the clip board.. that makes you feel really good!!!! I continued to try on dress after dress at a size 20 and (shockingly) they were all too big. It took her 15 minutes to ask if I wanted her to go get more dresses in my actual size. For someone who wasn't skinny herself, you'd think she could be a little more body positive. read more

Today was my first day really looking for a dress. I'm getting married in September 2017 so I'm way early. But I had the most amazing experience with the team here. It was a slower afternoon my appointment was at noon, we got there almost 30 minutes early. They got us checked in and pulled some dresses off my wish list and have everything ready very quickly. They took time to really listen to what I wanted. Included my friend in everything so it was very much a team effort. Helped find shoes & accessories and seemed to take a genuine interest in what my style was and what I wanted. Jaye & Melanie & honesty the whole team that was there today was great. Laughs and stories and suggestions were shared openly. I could not thank them enough. I really felt like we got genuine service and help. Even though we didn't find "the dress" today we got the best customer service and will be back to check out more. But I definitely found the dress the others have to live up to. I had a good experience here. I bought my wedding dress and had a few alterations done here. Consultants are very helpful and patient. The people in alterations do an outstanding job! My only complaint: The selection of bridal gowns is average...I wish they had a broader selection of styles and designer brands. I would like to publicly thank Harmony Young. I owe the entire experience to her. With her candidness, patience with me(the bride) and bridal knowledge, she broke through my walls and found me the perfect dress. The perfect dress was not any dress I picked out, not a dress my mom or sister picked... the perfect dress was the first dress that Harmony chose for me after getting to know me better. She is truly and angel sent to me on this day. I have extreme anxiety and am very shy, and Harmony worked so well with me to get through the obstacles holding me back from enjoying this day. Today I had an awful experience while picking up a bridesmaid dress for one of my girls. I was met at the front of the store by a lady who clearly hates her job and or working at all with customers. I simply mentioned I was here to pick up a dress and gave the information she requested- no information came up on their end. Even though my bridesmaid had received and email/text stating her dress was ready for pick up. I tried different contact information to try to find her dress and the lady just became seemingly annoyed and did very little to try to figure out what was happening. She kept saying "well nothing is coming up with that name" I tried to offer ticket number order number but she was not having any of that. I was on the phone with my bridesmaid so I asked the woman if maybe chatting directly with her would help facilitate finding this dress. She grabbed the phone and said nothing to my bridesmaid who was also trying to give her information. Finally someone else on a computer had found the dress to pick up for alteration. At this time the lady shoves the phone back to me and says "here" and goes back to find the dress. This was not the experience I thought I was going to have when picking up a dress. This is an everyday thing for a place like this people come to pick up orders/ alterations everyday I do not understand this woman's attitude. I had not come in rude at all in fact I thanked the other woman who found the dress on their computer system. I even thanked the woman who grabbed the dress even though really she didn't deserve it. The store was not busy I was the only customer there. I had planned to buy other items for my wedding but I will never go back to this place again. I feel bad for other customers who have had experience with this lady and I feel worse for people who have to work with her. If you do not like your job you should leave. This was nothing but a simple alteration pick up. David's Bridal in Kennewick will not be a business I recommend to others. read more

The bridesmaid dress I ordered came extremely wrinkly. Before taking the dress home I asked if they could steam it, they said it is an extra 15 dollar charge. I am disappointed that David's Bridal charges extra money to take home a brand new almost 200 dollar dress that should be presented to me wrinkle free. read more

I had an appointment scheduled with DB; the store is 2hrs away from my house, but it's one of the closest bridal shops so I was happy to make the commute. My whole bridal party was faced with snowmageddon trying to get to town. The staff was great, friendly and flexible with me and my timeline. I had an appointment and called while battling the snow to reschedule for later in the day, then again called to push it again. The third call was from DB to let me know they needed to close early and I was so disappointed because I had already been driving for 4 hours to try and make it; BUT they were so gracious and told me they would just help me whenever I arrived - which luckily was before their early closing time anyway. I was helped by the smallest consultant and I thought for sure she wouldn't do well with a plus sized bride. She did great. She took my measurements and suggested sizes to look for. She took me to their showroom and explained what kind of dresses were on each rack. They had a nice selection for a variety of budgets. My budget was modest and I could afford WAY more dresses than I thought :) I was even able to buy a jeweled belt to embellish my perfect dress. I came in with 2 specific gowns I wanted to try on (found them online) I was able to find and try on both (as well as a couple others) and I walked away with a dress I loved. Their tradition of ringing the bell and saying "yes" to the dress was super cute and they even have different props to take a photo with after finding a dress. It was a fun day and after all the chaos 2ft of snow and trying to just arrive at my appointment brought, I had a great time. read more

very communicative while setting up my appointment! had to reschedule and change the time & there were no issues. while i was there however i could have used a lot more help, i was given clips to pick out my four favorite dresses but the way they were hung & displayed made it very difficult to see the detail/shape of them. while trying them on i was kind of just rotated in & out of a dressing room with no mirrors? the entire rest of the room was mirrored but i found it strange that there were none inside the dressing room. i received very minimal input from my stylist melissa, in terms of both the dress & the veil/accessories which i still don't have. i believe she was new and i don't hold it against her at all. she helped me find which dresses were available in black as there were none in the store, which is all i really wanted! in the end i bought a beautiful dress and it should be here in november. thank you! read more

RETURN POLICY SUCKS!!! I went there to return the dress. I purchased it like almost a month ago. And waiting for them to ship the dress to the store, So basically they ordered it online but i paid it in store. So after how many weeks I received the dress finally but when i tried it on ! The dress is way too big and baggy.pretty sure alterations will cost me same as my dress because of how big and baggy it is.So I've decided to returned after two days from the day it got picked up But they told me they cant give me my money back because the policy says i have to return it after 7days? But how on earth can I return it in 7days from the day I purchased when i dont have the dress yet they dont have it either ? I purchased the dress APRIL 16 got a phone call on MAY 9 that my dress arrived at the store ready for pick up.I DONT UNDERSTAND how this return policy works! ‍Returning the dress in 7 days! DO NOT PURCHASE bridesmaid dresses here. I regretfully purchased a dress in a different color because the original color I wanted was not available by the wedding date. I was notified online the color online was in-stock and would make it for the wedding. First, you have 7 days to return anything for your money back. Otherwise it's 60 days to exchange. I jumped the gun and ordered the new dress but was still okay with an exchange. Unfortunately, my daughter who's 11 and removes tags. They denied my exchange accusing me that my daughter wore the dress even though they were shown I had already purchased the SAME dress different color. I've already ordered a dress for her from Nordstrom and my remaining 3 bridesmaids, I refuse to let them purchase from here or my mother. WORSE, I even called customer service and went through the proper channels before I drive two hours to visit the store. The stores do not have to uphold anything the company customer service tells you. DO WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!! read more

The customer service here is some of the worst I have ever experienced. I came in on Labor Day to buy a dress with my friend. I was committed to buying a wedding dress that day no matter what. I show up for my appointment a few minutes early and am told that I will need to wait for an associate to become available. Not that big of a deal so my friend and I walked around the store looking for dresses to try on. Thirty minutes after my scheduled appointment time, we are finally helped. I am not sure why the associate felt I needed a tour of the store considering I had just walked around it for 45 minutes and was not planning on buying bridesmaids dresses or shoes. Finally it is time to try on dresses and the associate tried to put me in a dressing room off to the side away from the main mirrors. There were two other brides with large parties trying on gowns on that side and were taking up the platform and mirror space. The other side was completely empty. Why would I want to fight for mirror space with two other brides when there is an empty section? I ask if I can be moved to the other side so I can use the main mirrors and platform. Apparently this was an issue because she had to ask her manager if this was okay, in which the manager replied that the rooms were reserved for later appointments. NEWSFLASH- I WAS EARLY FOR MY APPOINTMENT... IT TOOK YOU LONGER TO GET TO ME!!! After a few minutes... they "let" me try on dresses in the empty section. Thankfully my friend was with me to help me get in the dresses and give me some advice. The associate really did not help much at all. I found the dress I wanted to buy and I purchased it that day. I was annoyed, but happy I found my dress. Two weeks later my dress came and I got a call right away from Laura. (Side note- Laura was the most helpful person throughout this whole process and I wish I could have just worked with her.) I came in later that night and tried it on and all was good. The manager said I could come back on Friday after 11 am to pick it up so they could steam it. I made my alterations appointment with a tailor for Friday at 4 pm. I show up at 3:20 to pick up the dress and was stalled out by another sales associate. She said that they just needed to do the final bead check and asked if I could come back in a half hour. I told her no that I couldn't wait because my appointment was at 4. Five minutes later she came out with my dress and said that it would be okay if I brought it back after my alterations appointment. That didn't make sense so I said, "So it didn't get done or....?". She told me that the dress had not been steamed like they said it would be. I didn't appreciate the fact that she lied to me about just needing to do a final "bead check", when in actuality the whole thing needed to be done. I have had to pay my tailor to steam the dress instead. It sucks having to pay for a service that was supposed to be free with the dress as promised. I don't understand why this store thinks it is okay to treat customers like this. All I wanted was to come in... try on dresses without having to fight another bride to look in the mirror... and not be lied to! I don't think I am asking for princess treatment or being a bridezilla! If you want to buy a David's Bridal dress, I suggest trying on some in the store and ordering online. If you order online, you have a better return option and not have to deal with unscrupulous employees. read more

My MoH, mom, grandma, and aunt went to this store for my fist session of gowns. The attendant was nice enough to me but absolutely rude to my family! While i was trying dresses on, she was telling them not to pick out dresses because she just knew i wouldn't like them. At one point she flat-out said that there were no dresses in the store that would fit my desire and boy, was she right!! The dresses here are great for a lower price point (I didn't see a dress over $1400). But do yourself a favor and look around a little. I found THE ONE at Amy's Bridal Boutique in Kennewick (they carry designers) and the attendant was so amazing and helpful my experiences were like night and day (or nightmare and heaven!) read more

I went in to do a fitting on my wedding dress only to find out that I had put on more weight than I thought, there for my dress didn't fit, unfortunately they could not let the dress out, or get it in a bigger size. I started to panic until the assistant store manager Shaun Owens Bosch stepped in and told me that they would help me find a new dress in the right size and that they would do a "swap". I was still upset but getting better, My sister was with me and with her help as well we found my back up dress from the first time I tried on dresses, we then talked with Shaun and she found one in the right size and ordered it for me. I have never been treated so good, these ladies where amazing and kind they treated me wonderfully. Without the help of these wonderful ladies my wedding day would have been ruined I am so thankful for them and all the help and support they gave me. read more

We purchase my wedding dress and my mom's dress at this locations. Appointments were easy to schedule. The consultants let us look around and pull some styles we liked before they found others, which was nice. Our alterations were also done here, and the dresses both ended up looking wonderful. We felt a bit pressured to buy, but the price was already low and stayed the same price until after the wedding so it was worth it. :) read more

This location and its staff are wonderful! We received amazing customer service from Shaun and Destiny when we came in to pick out our wedding dresses. We were looking for dresses on short notice, and on a budget no less, and they were able to help us find "the one"! They were open and kind toward both of us (being part of the LGBTQ+ community and having to accommodate for two brides). They were dedicated, patient, engaged, enthusiastic and offered wonderful advice! They even stayed past closing to make sure we had everything we needed for our special day! Destiny is honestly the most friendly, down to earth, and helpful person I've encountered in a retail store! I am so excited for us both to wear our beautiful dresses from David's Bridal! I cannot thank Shaun and Destiny enough for their help! Of all the different places we visited that day, this location won our hearts and made us the happiest of brides and customers. read more

My appointment was set for 1:00pm for my wedding dress alterations. We purchased a beautiful gown many months ago from David's Bridal Kennewick, WA location and had an amazing experience. One month ago my bridesmaids and myself set an appointment for bridesmaid dresses. That appointment was terrible. We were greated and asked what style dress we had in mind. We were told that they didn't have the styles we wanted from the website in their store. But was shown a small selection of what they did have to try on. She brought back to our dressing room and left us there with no help and no customer service. We walked out after being ignored entirely and purchased our bridesmaids gowns at Macy's. Then at today's alterations appointment, we were greeted and checked in. After 30 minutes of waiting I approached the front desk, where 2 employees were chatting and ignored my presence. I interrupted and asked to speak with a manager. I voiced my displeasure to the manager, that we were waiting for over 30 minutes now, no one offered us a place to sit. No real explanation of the wait other than the previous alterations appt was running long, forcing me to believe that womans appt was more important than mine. After finally getting in to see the seamstress, (45 minutes after our scheduled time) and $342 later...my dress will hopefully have the correct alterations made. I will never be returning to any David's bridal locations in the future, nor will I ever give this store a good review to anyone. Very disappointed with multiple experiences that should have been some of the happiest memories. read more

After my fiancé booked a fitting for her and her daughter's dresses at the Kennewick, Wa store, they were measured and fitted for their dresses. When they left, they felt like they had no worries because they were fitted and dresses were ordered. When we received our daughter's dress, it was completely the wrong size. It could have fit a 4 year old; she is 10 years old.. (please see attached photos). We called and they assured us they would order a new dress with the exchange of the one he currently had. The exchange was made and we brought home the new dress. The dress fit; however, the clasps was broken in the new dress. For paying $110 on a dress, this was outrageous. We love 2 hours away and making a trip to the store is a day's trip. Also, my fiancé was fitted for her dress and my fiancé suggested a smaller sized dress. The sales associate recommended getting the size up because "it is easier to take out fabric than to add fabric.." after thinking, my fiancé decided to take the associate's advice since they are the "professionals" at measuring. Low and behold, it is way too big and will need alterations. They could not give us an estimate for how much they will be, but if she would try to wear it for the wedding, it would constantly slip down. So now, not only did we pay for a dress, now we have to pay for alterations on David's Bridal's own dress. We have mothers, sisters, nieces, and all our family who were going to go to David's Bridal for their dresses, but my fiancé and I will NOT be recommending it and will be going elsewhere. For something that was suppose to be a fun, easy experience of trying on dresses and getting it fitted, turned into a huge headache and a lot of unnecessary trips back to David's Bridal. I think the service I received with the consultant we worked with was top notch!! I think her name was Christine, older with short hair. She was very attentive, kind, and exceeded my expectations. Earlier in the day my friend had an appointment, and it was not as good as mine. Her consultant wasn't nearly as attentive as Christine. I had been in previously to buy a bridesmaids dress 2 years ago and now it was time for a wedding dress! Initially when I came in to check in they had my name down incorrectly but once we fixed that everything else was smooth sailing. I had Leticia assisting me and she was great to work with. I knew what I was looking for and she helped pull similar styles. In the end I was able to find my dress and put it on layaway! She was incredibly helpful and made the process very easy. My sister got married back in August of this year so she started dress shopping a year prior. My first impression of this particular store was not a good experience whatsoever. My sister is around 130 pounds, 5'5ft tall just all around small. The lady that was helping her seemed in a horrible mood, rushed and rude. She kept pulling sizes that were obviously too big for my sister, she's a size four and this lady kept pulling a size 16 and saying there's no way my sister is a size four. Eventually my sister just ended up buying two dresses on their website instead. We took her dresses in to get altered and bustled, which we had to do three different times. One reason was because they didn't finish on time, the second time was because they couldn't figure out how to alter it and the third time was because we weren't satisfied with how it turned out. The last time we went in was a disaster. Sharice was incredibly rude when we told her we did not like the way one dress turned out and we asked her what were our options considering the wedding was a week away. We also told her our frustrations because we had to drive all the way from Yakima three different times for these dresses. She was very condescending and kept rolling her eyes and kept asking "well why don't you like it?" "Well i don't know what to tell you" and not apologetic in the slightest. We told her we understood if the dress could not be bustled after all but they should've told us that from the start. Again we just got a lot of eye rolling from her. I am now engaged and of course I love the dresses at davids bridal however I don't want to return to this store because of our experience. read more

David's Bridal is terrible! I made an appointment to try on dresses and still received little to no assistance. The worst part is that they make you fill out an information sheet before trying on dresses which includes your phone number. I didn't even buy my dress here and they still gave my phone number to several places. I received calls from Men's Warehouse and Mary Kay consultants who all stated they got my number from David's Bridal. That is not how the information you give them should be used. read more
