I showed the owner the dress I had seen online and she pulled that for me to try on, along with many other dresses. It was the best experience. The shop owner was so helpful, had an impeccably clean and organized shop, and took so much pride in her profession. I was thoroughly impressed, and left with an amazing wedding dress in order. Additionally, she was able to help me customize a veil based on one that she carried in store (I just had length added to it). Flash forward to this past winter, almost 2 years later, my dad's fiancé was looking for a wedding dress for their wedding. We went to several shops, but ended up at Blueberry, as well. The experience was just as wonderful, and with a quick timeline to have a dress ready for their wedding, the shop owner showed us to the dresses that could be bought off the rack. The choices were abundant and my now step-mother found her perfect dress as well. Plus, the owner remembered me from almost 2 years prior and was just as lovely. I started buying my gowns there in spring 2004…read more Every time I go into the store, I always leave with the exact gown I need (which is wonderful because I'm in between plus and regular sizes). When I wear the gowns, I always receive compliments on how I look and how gorgeous the dresses are. I even wore one of my gowns when I sang for royalty in Europe last year. As for "rude" women, I have never been mistreated in any way. They were kind to me when I first went in with my mother looking for my first gown, and they are always willing to bend over backwards to help me. The women have kept the store open for me multiple times. A few years ago, I brought them a necklace I'd been given (that didn't match anything I owned), and the owners helped me find a great gown to go with it. When people say the ladies were rude/unhelpful, I have to wonder if there wasn't some sort of rudeness on the customers' part that led to them being "mistreated". Like I said earlier, I've bought my gowns there for years. I have over 10 gowns from this store. This is honestly one of the best stores nationwide. I got married October of 21'…read more I went in here because I had some sort of trust because my first experience with another place did not tell me if altering my 1st dress would possibly require reconstruction of the whole top of the dress. My estimate was about $1,500 to ALTER the dress and not the price to include hemming and bustling. So I went to David's in hopes that I would be treated honestly. So I came here , weeks plus some before my wedding date. The lady that helped me was very nice. But they seem to not catch on detail. I specifically wanted a blush color in gown requested and I got it ordered. When I went to pick up my order they put the wrong color. They said they can overnight ship for a certain amount but I felt like if they sent the wrong color on their behalf I shouldn't have to pay for overnight shipping because they messed up. I have already spent $1,600 not including hemming so far. So I just took the color they mistakenly ordered just because I really wanted a dress and if I waited any longer booking for a fitting will be too late since they were booked out. Then they also added a rush fee because it was getting closer to the date - they didn't have any available after the mishap of ordering my dress and didn't tell me when the dress would be on time to the store let alone book a 2nd appointment for fitting. I worked full time and some nights at the time and my schedule was limited, so I had very little option. They ordered the wrong color I was expected to pay rush delivery if I wanted the color I originally wanted shipped bc they ordered the wrong color... I was expected to pay rush altering fee. Today I am still trying to pay off TWO dresses from two different places that screwed me over, them being the second. My advice is be through of what you want.
