Robin White, Store Manager at Hurst, TX is the worst salesperson I have ever encountered. I had the misfortune of meeting her at approximately 4:45pm on Saturday, September 12, 2015. To be honest I didn't know appointments were necessary. That said, I drove out from Trophy Club (approximately 45 minutes) and stopped in hoping for a wonderful experience. At this time, the store had one 1 bride in the store and a consultant was already working with her. there were two other consultants at the counter and the manager. I explained to the "greeter" that my family had just flown in from out of state and surprised me. I explained that I know that time was extremely limited as I am getting married in April, 2016. I also explained that we planned on purchasing a wedding gown and 5 bridal party dresses that night. The greeter conveyed this message to the manager and I was denied service, even though the store was empty. I asked if we could just have a room to have my niece try on Maid of Honor dress. I was told that Robin White, the manager also refused this request. Consequently, I requested to speak directly with Robin White, Store Manager. Robin blatantly ignored me as she chatted with two store associates who were standing around. I stood there directly in front of them for several minutes and none of them acknowledged me. I asked Robin if I could speak with her. Robin replied that she "would be with me in a minute." Nearly 10-15 minutes later, I left disgusted because Robin never came over to speak with me. Her attitude, general demeanor, lack of compassion and professionalism disgusted me. Robin White is clearly a terrible business woman. She sets a poor example for the consultants that report to her. I am writing to the CEO of David's Bridal to make a formal complaint. read more

Before I got to the David's Bridal in Hurst, I had an AWFUL experience at one not toO far away. I had set an appointment, favorited dresses online and expected to be able to try them on when I got there (I was told to do this). At the beginning of my appointment, I asked if they had the sheet of dresses that I had liked and they did. After 45 minutes of trying on dresses that THEY picked out, my bridesmaid (frustrated) pointed out the paper and asked if I could try on the dresses I had already liked. A few managers (who had been watching the lady who was helping me struggle and didn't move a muscle to help her pull dresses) told me that literally every dress on that list (12) were discontinued. My favorite one of all, they said, had only been in the store for a month, months ago. I could not believe it. I wasn't even mad. I was so upset and devastated. BUT THEN. I actually ended up calling the David's Bridal in Hurst on whim and decided I would just see if they had my favorite dress. My experience was completely different, exactly the opposite, actually. They actually checked and they had my size! I was there in 20 minutes, tried the dress on and had purchased it in 15 minutes. The whole atmosphere was different. At the previous David's Bridal, I was certain I would NEVER GO BACK AND TELL ALL MY FRIENDS TO STAY FAR AWAY. After Hurst, I most definitely would recommend them to anyone and gladly, at that. A few of the sweetest ladies I had the pleasure of encountering were Leah, Shelbrie, Robbin, Sandi, Veronica and Joy. Thank you, Hurst David's Bridal, for turning a nightmare of a day into a dream. I had my bridal appointment on 11/03 with Ella and she was incredible. I walked into this appointment after many upsets in my gown shopping plans, and having a lot of reservations. She treated me like I was a princess and helped make this whole experience much more relaxed than I imagined. She selected some out of comfort zone dresses for me to try, but wasn't pushy when I didn't like them. She pulled what I thought was my picture perfect ideal dress for me to try; and when I hated it she didn't let me get disheartened in trying alternatives. My gown was I think the 5th or 6th dress I tried on, and not what I walked in looking for. I loved it instantly but I told her I had another appointment already scheduled at a different bridal shop that afternoon and she didn't seem to be off put by simply putting my gown information into the system for if I came back at a future date. That future date was the next day 11/04 and even though I hadn't made an official appointment to try on the gown to show my family, Ella fit us in so she could be a part of it. When my family cried upon my coming out of the dressing room she rushed to get us tissues, and make sure the train of my gown and the veil I picked out laid perfectly for pictures. She was even an amazing photographer for my family and I at the end with my 'I Said Yes To The Dress' sign. I had reservations going into David's after hearing many mixed reviews in bridal forums. However, my experience far exceeded expectations & I hope Ella knows how important she was in such a huge moment in my life. read more

I had an amazing experience today with Carrinda! I had an 11am appointment which was the PERFECT time to go. Since the store had just opened I really got the superstar treatment. I'd been in the week before by myself as a walk-in and Carrinda had helped me try on some dresses and was very helpful even though I'd been a bit indecisive. At our scheduled appointment today, Carrinda was well prepared. She had my two favorite dresses ready and with input from the store manager, she picked out some other dresses for me to try on in the shape that I really liked. Once I'd decided on the dress she helped me find the perfect sash and accessories to really complete the look. Then the biggest challenge of the day came letting my diva daughter an future step-daughter try on dresses. Carrinda handled my little drama queen's meltdown like an absolute pro and was the only one who was able to get her to actually come out of the dressing room. She treated each of my girls like they were princesses and really made the day special for them. She was so amazingly helpful and understanding in every situation. I ordered the dress and accessories for myself and both the girls and the price was prefect for my budget. I'm so glad I had such a great experience. I'm looking forward to trying on the dress once it arrives in October. I know that Carrinda will be a great help then too! I'm lucky that she was there to make this important decision so much easier for me. :) read more

On my quest to find a dress for my last minute wedding I visited two David's bridal stores. I thought I had a good experience at the Corpus Christi location but when I made the 7 hour drive to Hurst,TX to try on a dress I found online that they had in store, I was blown away with how great the experience was. From the minute I walked in the door the customer service was beyond amazing. The lady at the front counter was very knowledgeable about their inventory and quickly marked the dresses from my favorites list that they had in store. I was early for my appointment but within about 15 minutes, I was in a dressing room with a consultant who had already gathered all the dresses and undergarment accessories. My consultant, Jessie, was again beyond amazing in helping me choose my dress. I couldn't have found the dress without her! The staff took the work and stress out of finding the perfect dress and turned into a far better experience than I ever could have imagined. I am so thankful for finding my way to this store. The staff deserves some big time praise! read more

Wow. I am so thankful my friend suggested I look here for my prom dress. Although slightly pricy, the customer service and the overall experience helped to make every penny worth it. The store had a positive atmosphere with welcoming employees who signed you in, and then assigned a special helper to work with you to find your perfect dress. I was helped by Falen, who was wonderful. She was efficient in helping me pick out several dresses to try on, she was inventive and creative in finding solutions to my fitting problems, and she was encouraging and genuinely caring when I felt insecure about my body in particular dresses. She helped me feel beautiful and choose the dress that made me feel and look my best. Many, many thanks to Falen and the entire staff at David's Bridal who were all so amiable and professional. I will be back for my next special occasion, and I will be sending others your way!! read more

It's very rare that i am given such great service that I go out of my way to recognize someone. Today I went in with my sister to look at bridesmaid dresses. We came in surprised at how busy the store was and grateful we had made a appointment before hand. Upon arrival we were met by a very sweet young gal that explained the store layout. Then we were brought to our section where initially we received help from Justice, who was great however, I could tell she was packed with customers. So we tried to do the best we could by ourselves. One of the managers Gabbie came to assist us with zipping the dresses and figuring out size. I loved how patient she was with our group and continued to check on us every few mins. It was just great to see how even when a store is packed with customers the staff knows how to make time for their customers and still give great service. read more

I was dreading going wedding dress shopping, and on top of that was not thrilled about going to David's based on some of my friends experience at other locations. I have to say hands down the best experience I have had in any retail place let alone in my wedding planning process. Samantha was the best, I recommend her to anyone! I had no idea what I wanted to wear, just knew what I didn't like, the first dress she picked out for me ended up being the dress I picked. The whole team at Davids went above and beyond to help me find a certain style belt to go with my dress and when no one could find it Samantha hand threaded one for me. She was so friendly too and really knew what she was doing! I am petite and they had a lot of dress styles for me to choose from and even carry petite sizes! I hope the ordering, fitting, and tailoring process goes off just as easily! read more

Everyone in this store is super nice and attentive. Ashley was my dress consultant. I could not have asked for someone better. I felt very comfortable with her and her choice. She knows what she is doing and knows all body type. I thought I would only look good in a high waist (imperial cut) gown, but she convinced me to try this one lower waisted dress.. and fell in love with it (ending up buying it). She even came up with the idea to use a colored ribbon on the lace up back to add color. (one of the reasons I loved the dress). I am super excited about the wedding and Ashley made the once "usually" stressful part of weddings into such a good time. Our 2 hour stay was so fun it did not feel that long. I cannot say enough great things about this store. I visited for my bridal appointment earlier this week and Melissa was my stylist. She went above and beyond and did an excellent job of finding me dresses that I loved. She helped me narrow my selections down so easily - she understood exactly what I was looking for and made it happen. I also want to note that Melissa called me today to let me know that the bridesmaid dress that I had picked out was moved to "limited availability" and that if I wanted to go with that dress we needed to order it ASAP. That is customer service that goes above and beyond anything I have ever experienced. This location is a bit farther from me than other locations, but it is by far worth the drive. GO SEE DANA I had so much fun shopping for my wedding dress at David's bridal. Every time I went in the staff as always smiling and helped you in a timely manner. My bridal consultant, Dana, was awesome! I loved working with her so much that by the end of my consultation I was very tempted to ask her to be a brides maid. She helped me find an awesome dress and totally built me up and made me feel so special! The lady doing my alterations was also really sweet! I feel so bad that I can't remember her name but she was awesome! We laughed so much and had so much fun hanging out with these girls! I went to the David's Bridal in Hurst, TX and I was wowed by my experience there. Shelbrie helped me find my dream dress. She was so helpful throughout the entire process, from sorting through dresses, clipping me into dresses, finding the best prices, to even adding all the little details to my dress to make it perfect. She also helped me narrow down the dresses as I went, so it wasn't an overwhelming process. Shelbrie was so experienced, and made the process easy and fun. Even the store manager came by to have fun with us. It was such a great experience for me as the bride, as well as my two sisters and my mom. I had my first and final wedding dress shopping experience at David's Bridal and it was AMAZING! It was such a wonderful experience because of Shelbrie who had worked with me! Shelbrie was not only professional and knowledgeable but was so easy to be around. I felt like I was trying on dresses with my best friend which made the whole experience a blast. I even came back in later that day to try on more dresses and she was so patient and willing to give me another great experience. This place is simply awesome. I've read reviews for other Davids Bridal stores and got really worried. I'm a bigger girl and went in totally nervous. So nervous all the excitement just went away. I came out totally changed. The woman I worked with Jess (highly recommend you work with her) picked out amazing dresses for me in so many varieties, I was shocked. Jess genuinely told me I was beautiful went out of her way to make me feel that way, dressed me up like a doll. Everyone who worked there and walked by would stop and admire how beautiful they thought I looked. Such a positive place, positive people, highly recommend going here. read more

I had an amazing experience here. I am a bride, getting married in April 2015. I never thought I would get my dress at David's Bridal, but my mom was in town and we thought we would just go get some ideas. I made an appointment and I had the best consultant! Jennifer was very helpful and sweet and knew exactly what I was looking for... And not pushy at all. I found my dress and it was the second one I put on. One of her recommendations! If you are anywhere close to this David's Bridal you should DEFINITELY stop in! Shelbrie helped me on my first appointment and was just outstanding! She went way out of her way to help me find the dress of my dreams and the only reason I am not giving 5 stars (I really, really wanted to) is because I was double scheduled with her at my second appointment and would rather have had her all to myself! She was so wonderful to work with, I was seriously blown away by her willingness to do whatever it took to help me get the dress I wanted. Could not thank her enough! I wanted to update my review to let people know that thanks to employees like Gabby (at the Hurst location), you can feel confident and comfortable shopping for your dress at David's bridal. While I did have several bad experiences with other employees, Gabby made an unfortunate situation right each time. Melissa was also wonderful. Very helpful, patient and pleasant. The store is very clean and well laid out. And they have a great dress selection. Again, knowing that Gabby is a manager at that store, I would recommend any bride to shop there for their dress. Ella in Hurst was simply amazing. She was patient, knowledgeable, creative and all around awesome! She helped me pick my shoes, accessories, and even helped me figure out how to wear my hair. She didn't even bat an eyelash when I told her our wedding is in 3 weeks! I walked out of the store confident and relieved. Who could ask for anything more? The woman who was helping us was super helpful and knowledgable! She checked on us every few minutes, and after going to the one off Hulen Park in Ft. Worth, this was kind of a shock. She put up the dresses we were done with, offered to go get different sizes, helped setup an "event" for me - which was NOT done at the other store. She even helped pick out colors after telling her what I was imagining, and gave an honest opinion about which she liked best! She was great, and this store was much more organized and not so crazy and crowded. The woman at the front desk was also very nice! read more
