David's Bridal has been awesome at helping me with everything I need for the big day! Angela was able to help me find the perfect dress! She listened to what I wanted and in a matter of seconds had so many dresses pulled that fit my exact description. It was so easy! She also helped with bridesmaid dresses on our second visit. Again quick, fun, and easy. Cristal helped me with alterations. She was so kind and you could tell she really had a craft for find and pinning the perfect look! read more

If 0 stars was an option I'd choose that. I ordered a dress from the Hurst TX location since that's where I tried it on. I wasn't thrilled with my experience but found a dress I liked so decided or order it anyways. The reason I say my experience wasn't great is because I have self confidence issues and I asked to not know the sizes of the dresses as I tried them on because hearing the number is discouraging even thought I realize wedding dresses are sized differently. Despite saying this and asking my consultant continued to tell me when she was having to get larger sizes and did not seem tuned in to the style that worked for my body. Again I still proceeded with a dress purchase a few says later after weighing my experience with how I felt in the dress. I live in Austin TX and was told the dress had to be shipped to me and it couldn't be shipped the David's Bridal here in austin. Given the time frame I said it was possible I might be out of town when he dress was delivered and asked if it would be left outside my door (I live in an apartment complex) I did not want the dress shipped if that was the case and even told the woman on the phone when I ordered that I would rather make the drive to pick the dress up than risk it being left outside. The woman assured me the dress would not be left outside my door and if anything would just be dropped at the apartment complex office. I asked several times to be sure and she told me there was zero chance it would be left outside. I received an email telling me my dress was at the Hurst location which I knew meant it would then be shipped to me in what I had been told would take approximately a week. I was out of town the 23rd of February through March 4th. I checked with my apartment complex March 4th and they didn't have any packages for me. March 5th I called David's bridal in Hurst explained my situation and that I was concerned. She pulled up my purchase and told me the dress was shown to have been delivered Feb 26th and it stated it was left at front door. I asked her why it would've been left outside and she told me I would need to call the post office and gave me the tracking number. This is the dress I'm supposed to wear on the happiest day of my life and it was left outside after I was continuously promised it wouldn't be, but because they got their money they don't care that my dress is now gone. I don't have the money for a new one and there was no insurance on the package or anything. Now even if I could buy a dress there's not enough time according to their timeline for alterations. It is absolutely unacceptable to me that after spending so much money and being made countless promises that this would not happen I now have to figure out how to afford another dress and find one that doesn't need alterations. read more

I had given Davids bridal a 5 star before but now, after receiving the WRONG dress I am down to one star. I had to pay the difference and now I have to wait for my actual dress to arrive. They did nothing to make up for this at all. I now have to wait up to 4 more months for my dress. This was terrible customer service. read more

Customer service is abysmal. Selection even worse. Anyone looking for service with a smile and an awesome selection of ALL occasion dresses PLEASE go to WhatachamaCallit (Yes, it's a real place) ... 5 mins down the road. Wow, talk about disappointing customer service. Me and my two friends came here to look for our prom dresses and no one had any interest in helping us. There were 2 or 3 girls standing in the back corner just talking, and one of the girls Vanessa, was trying on dresses while she was working. Um, no thank you. They didn't care if we needed help, when we clearly did. They clearly only care about the brides who are there to pay big bucks. read more

You need to beware as their return policy is only 7 days from the date of purchase, not the date of possession. It took 4 weeks to get my daughters bridesmaid dress and in that time her circumstances changed so before we received the dress I tried to return it. No returns so the only option was an in-store credit. Since she is only 14 years old, she has no need for any of these dresses. We would have ordered the Jr. Bridesmaid dress but the wait to order the dress was 4 months putting this after the wedding. read more

Maybe I'm just not that fussy, but I much preferred this atmosphere to someone all up in my business trying to pretend that they care about my wedding. I made an appointment for a Saturday and they warned me that it is a "party atmosphere' and that each consultant helps two brides at a time. Cool, whatever. And it was really busy, everywhere you turned there was someone all white and puffy. I came alone which I thought would be weird but since I was sharing my consultant with another woman, her friends and family all helped me too! They took my pictures and told me what they thought of my dresses, it was pretty cool. And despite the consultant helping us both, there wasn't any more lag time than when I went to Alfred Angelo where there wasn't nearly as many people or hustle bustle. Another way that David's is superior- they give you a slip to wear! It made me feel so much less weird and naked. My consultant was nice but not pushy and seemed to give her honest opinion. The closest thing to pushiness was having me make an appointment to come in again later with my mom, but that didn't bother me and I can cancel it if I don't really want to come back. So, if ever you really don't want them to give you the hard sell, tell them you have to try it on for someone else and they might back of some. I actually did really like one of the dresses so I may actually come back. If you are looking for some kind of frou frou one-on-one hand holding, obviously, go to a fancy boutique and pay a couple grand for a dress. If you want to look on-line, pick some dresses to try on, try on said dresses, and then get out of there, David's Bridal will help you git 'er done. read more

CRYSTAL and her LACK of customer service and failure to properly communicate are THE MAIN REASONS I WILL NEVER EVER USE DAVIDS BRIDAL AGAIN AND I WILL ALSO MAKE SURE NONE OF MY FAMILY OR FRIENDS USE THEM AS WELL!!!!! One of my bridesmaids received their dress with a glue like stain in the front of her dress and the store "manager" did absolutely NOTHING to help. She stated that they wouldn't be able to get the stain out and just gave us the number to corporate to see if they could send another dress in time for my wedding and when I spoke to the rep at corporate she was JUST as confused as I was to why they didn't just do this at the store the rep stated that they use the same systems and the "manager" would be looking at the same thing she was. Unfortunately they were not able to order another dress in time for my wedding so now we are left with having to find someone who can get the stain out and cover the cost of David's Bridal mistake. read more

I was pretty apprehensive about shopping at David's Bridal, because I have heard they can be hit and miss with the service. This DB was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond for me. I flew to DFW from COS to go dress shopping with my mom and my sister for my super small outdoor wedding. The catch: my wedding is a month away! (very spur of the moment) As soon as we walked in we were greeted by the manager, Robin, who was super friendly. I told her my appointment time and she asked me about my big day. When she learned my wedding is a month away, she told me I came to the right place and that they would do their best to ensure that I would leave with a dress that day. She paired me with a consultant, Regi, and I could not have asked for a better consultant. Regi was AMAZING. She listened to what I wanted and brought me dresses that would make me feel beautiful and would fit the venue of my wedding. She was super fun, and I felt totally comfortable with her. I found the most perfect dress but it was bit small, so I needed alterations done. This is where Veronica comes in. I took the dress to her, and she assured me that the work could be done. I paid for the rush alteration fee ($25) that guaranteed the work to be completed within 14 days. She learned that I would be flying back to Colorado the next day, and I would be unable to come in for a second fitting. She made sure that the dress was done THE NEXT DAY so I could come in and make sure that it fit (it did!) The dress is currently being cleaned and then will be shipped to me so I will have it in plenty of time. This location is wonderful, and the girls working there truly do their best to make everything special for you. I found my dress, veil, shoes, jewelry and afterparty dress in one weekend. The store in Hurst texas provided me with voice mails to return my daughters prom dress for a refund in March and I have the voice mails saved, but due to the closure put in place by gov to stay home the store closed by the weekend and I was not able to return. As soon as restrictions were lifted for what I thought were the stores I called to schedule a no contact drop off / curbside return and was told I could no longer return for refund! Although, mind you, i have a voice mail from Morgan at corporate and Ashley from the hurst store stating that i could return it. I have tried to contact corporate again and guess what now to discuss returns you have to text some 38201 and wait for someone to respond via text. Just another way for them to avoid dealing with people's questions and concerns! I still have children to graduate and have proms and to one day be married and you can bet that we will never use David's again for anything! I will also be sure to let my friends and family know as well! read more

I was skeptical about going to David's Bridal for my dress, but our experience at this location was amazing. Our time could not have been more perfect and we found the most perfect dress. Our salesperson was Dana and I can't possibly say enough about how wonderful she made this experience for my family and I. She listened to what I wanted and made suggestions for what I didn't know. This was our first and only day of dress shopping and we walked out of the door with "the one." My dress, veils, undergarments and preservation kit cost less than the entire dress at other stores. I was also very impressed by their selection of larger dresses and the fact that they had some displayed. Overall it was a most wonderful experience. read more

Love this store. Everyone was so nice and SO helpful. My appointment was with Natalie and she was absolutely wonderful! She listened to what I wanted and came up with several selections for me to choose from. I put a few dresses on my wish list prior to coming, but ended up buying something she had picked out just from listening to what I liked. She made me feel beautiful and helped me realize what I liked and disliked about each dress. She was respectful of my budget and never picked out a dress that I would fall in love with and then realize I could never have it because of the price tag. She was AMAZING!! My sister made an appointment online to go try on wedding dresses. When we arrived, they didn't have record of the appointment and literally turned us away. The lady "helping" us was rude and snotty, and instead of trying to help and being compassionate, she basically told my sister too bad, our online system obviously didnt work right and you clearly didn't actually make an appointment. Never once offered an apology or tried to make it right, just told us they couldn't help us and made it seem like it was our fault that their appointment system is screwed up. In my mind, if your online system is letting people make reservations at times you are full, or isn't working correctly, that is the company's fault, not the customer's, and therefore, the company should make it right in some fashion. We were literally going to purchase a dress today but they refused to help us, so we took our money elsewhere. read more

Rude rude rude...went in there for a formal dress for my daughter for a formal event and the 5 sales ladies didn't even greet us, they just stood around talking. I went to the flower girl section for my daughter because she's 12 and was promptly told she would not fit in their dresses because she was too big. The lady didn't even ask what size she was. After that we went to the special occasion section and I had 3 women walk past us and didn't ask if we needed anything nor did they say anything when they heard me get frustrated trying to find anything that might work. We walked out and I promise we will NOT be back to look at dresses there ever again. IORG girls, OES& any others...do not waste your time here. read more

Before my visit to David's Bridal store #121, I had just left another bridal salon where I had a terrible experience and customer service. So honestly, I wasn't very excited when I first arrived. However, my consultant, Jessica, quickly changed that. I cannot say enough about how WONDERFUL Jessica was. She made my dress shopping experience absolutely incredible and unforgettable. She was so great that I purchased my dress and picked my bridesmaid's dresses at David's Bridal that same day. She offered ideas and suggestions that were all very helpful. Above all, her sincerity in wanting to provide an incredible dress experience was clearly evident. After working in the service industry for many years before my career, I learned to truly value and appreciate excellent customer service when I receive it. And Friday night on October 23, 2016, Jessica did just that. Me, my mother, sister and bridesmaids could not stop talking about her all weekend. My "say yes to the dress" moment and experience was SO SPECIAL, and I could never thank Jessica enough for making my experience so wonderful! David's Bridal, she deserves a promotion and a raise! These are the kind of employees you want assisting your customers and representing your brand. I can assure you that some of the bad google reviews I saw would all be five star if all of your employees provided the service that Jessica provided me on Friday. Anyone who specializes in marketing knows that the best form of marketing is word of mouth from experiences. Jessica was awesome and I would recommend her to anyone. If I had to describe her service in one word it would be "WOW"!! I had to write this in hopes that someone would see this and give her the recognition she deserves. read more

My bridesmaids and I went in to David's Bridal today and worked with the stylist Alana. She was extremely helpful and attentive. We weren't easy, as I didn't have a clue about what type of dress I was wanting, but she was so patient. She did a great job. Additionally, we were having trouble getting the right bridesmaid dresses in before the event and Leah went above and beyond to make it happen. Loved the bridesmaid dress and the time that it took to purchase the dress. I did not really like the associate who helped me. Other than that, it was great prices and very pretty store. read more

I had an appointment at Davids Bridal at the Hurst location yesterday. It was the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I went with my friend. After we walked in and talked to the girl at the counter. We waited 20 minutes. When we inquired again, she said our stylist would be with us shortly. Our "stylist" Vanessa, I think. Her name started with a V. She was very rude and did not smile at all. We showed her a few dresses that I liked. I told her I liked satin material. Since it was one of my first bridal dress shopping experience, I told her I dont specifically have a style in mind. She asked me my size and took me to a dressing room. She closed the door. I came outside as I did not see any point in being in a room as I was not changing into anything yet. Even my fried thought that was very weird. She brought 3 dresses, none of which were satin. I tried them on. I did not like any. Then, she went again to grab more and came back slowly with 2 more. We asked again about the dresses we picked earlier. She said 'Oh I did not bring those'. I asked if I could try those on; then, she said they dont have my size. I told her I would still like to try them on. She completely ignored my request. Then, my friend and I went ourselves to rack. I found 4 satin dresses in my size in the clearance section. I told her I would like to try those on. Then she said there is only time for 1 more dress. I tried on the dress I picked. It was probably the best I tried. She asked me if I was buying it. I said 'No'. Then she got very pushy. She asked why I am not buying the dress. Honestly, I dont think I need to explain at all. She said she wont hold the dress, I said thats fine. I will not be buying from Davids Bridal at all. The 'stylist' got ruined it for me for sure. She never asked me about my budget or let me try on anything I liked or said. read more

This is not so much about David's Bridal but about their credit they offer. It was not explained correctly and I ended up being charged the interest. I have been paying double the minimum amount and somehow got put on another plan that expired Dec 31, 2016. A $445 interest charge was applied. I had paid down my bill to $950 and now it is almost $1500 again. They need to explain the credit a little better. Planning a wedding is stressful and there are many moving parts. I should not have to babysit this credit card. I didn't realize after the 6 months plan they would put me on another 6 month plan. I figured they would just charge me interest which is why I was making far more than the minimum payment. Very disappointing. read more

I am currently a Bride to be, and went in to the store with an appointment at 4 PM on a weekday. I had scheduled an appointment for my bridesmaids to try on dresses and we were barely even helped the entire time we were there. The consultant ask us what type of dresses and we told her short and that was the last we saw of her. No help in getting other sizes we couldn't find, nothing. It was very frustrating as the store was nearly empty. I had also planned to try on 1 or 2 dresses for myself, just to start getting an idea of what style I would want, and even though there were less than 3 customers in the store, they were not staffed to even allow me to try on 1 or 2 dresses. I will not be going back to this David's Bridal, they didn't even care that we just left and didn't talk to any of them about our choices. read more

Awful experience. We had very little help and our helper was rude. This was a trip for bridesmaid dresses.

Yesterday I went to David's Bridal to try on my wedding dress. The whole staff was very accommodating especially because I was 45 minutest late. Alanna S. was the one to help me out almost immediately when my new appointment began. We tried on all kinds of dresses and she would ask me how I felt in that dress. She was very personal, down to earth, and very informative on what looked good on me and the dress!!! While she was helping me and my party she was also helping other customers at the same time. After I had found "the one" she had another appointment after me and still helped all of my bridesmaids find their dresses for the wedding! She deserves a great amount of recognition for everything she did in 3 hours!!! read more

I had a horrible experience. I scheduled my appointment a couple of month in advance. Arrived on time and was given a run down of how it works. I was told "don't worry about the color or sizes of the dresses. That what ever I picked would be ordered in new and all the dress were try ons they had in the store". There we're a total of 5 of us that heard this. I was taken to the back of the dressing rooms. I had no walk ways and only a mirror on my door. My consultant disappeared for the majority of the time and it was my wedding party that rummaged the store for the dresses. The consultant (Bethany) came back with another bride, placing her in the room next to me asking us to move over to make room for her party. Essentially there was not enough room for both parties. We ended up moving our self's to one of the main areas to views the dresses I tried on in the mirrors with the walk way. Again Bethany had disappeared. After trying on a few dresses with my wedding party helping Bethany came by to inform us we had to move back to the dressing room area. At this point we had been in the store for about 4 hours. I still needed to find the bride maids dresses, mother of the bride, and mother of the groom dresses. Again Bethany was no help. The wedding party went and found their own styles and sizes and we all had to use the same dressing room. We then proceeded to check out 6 hours after arriving. We wanted to list the mother of the bride dress so my mom could try it on in another state prior to purchasing it, however we were still purchasing 3 wedding party dresses and the wedding grown that day. Bethany proceeded to tell us there was not a location closer than 600 miles from my mom. Well at this point I was visibly getting irritated with the level of service. My sister pulls out her iPhone and finds a location within 30 miles of my moms location. We then inquire again with the city of the David's bridal close to my mom. Again Bethany denied that location. My sister then shows her the location on her phone. Bethany pulls a white binder out from under the counter and confirms that location. Bethany rings me up, orders the brides maids dress, and begins packaging up my dress. I stopped Bethany and asked why my dress was not being ordered as stated when we arrived. Bethany went on to state they are a off the rack store and all sales are final. At this point I was two seconds from going bridzilla on her. I asked for a refund and she went and got the store manager. The manager went on and on about how even if they ordered the dress it would not be a new dress because it was a off the rack business. The manager then personally guarantee that my dress would be perfect after alterations. I explained I did not need alterations and the beads were lose and there were spots on the dress from others trying it on and if I didn't need alterations why would I pay for the beads to be fixed and to be cleaned. When all I needed was a new dress ordered with no flaws since this is what I had paid for and was told what I was getting when i walked in initially. Needless to say this did not happen and my concerns were addressed with there is no charge for cleaning and taking care of the beads, a personal guarantee and being told NO for ordering the dress. At this point i took the dress so i could get the hell out of the store before I caused a scene. Prior to leaving I confirmed that the dress for my mom was placed on my profile list so my mom could set up a appointment. Two weeks later I received a call from my mom stating a cake topper was listed for her dress and no one knows what dress she should be trying on. I was livid. Called David's bridal in Hurst and asked for a manager. I spoke with Robin. At this point I received a entirely different story. Robin wanted to debate the details of my complaint and then confirmed I should have had a new dress ordered since there was plenty of lead time between my purchase and my wedding date..... She confirmed the dress was never placed on my wish list for my mom, how Robin wanted to debate that a cake topper was placed on the list. At this point regardless if a cake topper was placed on the listing or not she had confirmed that nothing was ever listed to began with. RIDICULOUS!!!!! Robin then told me to ship the dress to her and she would order me a new one. If no one in the store can give the same information why the heck would I ship the most important dress to the store for someone to lose or screw up.......... Doesn't really make since. Stay away from this location if your looking for a experience that someone actually cares about your special day..... read more

I had been to two other bridal salons on a Saturday and had very frustrating experiences at both. Feeling hopeless, we stopped into the David's Bridal in Arlington just to look at their showroom, we were immediately greeted and shown around but they did not have any available appointments that day. We called the Hurst store and booked an appointment for Sunday since it was close to home. Falen was incredible! She made me feel so relaxed and comfortable from the minute I walked in! I am a plus size bride and she never once brought me anything that didn't make me feel absolutely stunning. The other salons made me feel like I was expecting too much by wanting a sample gown I could fit over my boobs but at David's bridal I found gown after gown fitting and looking beautiful! I bought my dream dress and Falen and Gaby helped give me some style tips and ideas for sleeves, belts and even a birdcage headpiece! I never felt rushed and they treated me like I was the only customer in the store. Thank you! read more

I went shopping with six lovely ladies at this David's bridal about a month ago looking for my bridesmaid's dresses. I have recently transitioned into hospice care, so my wedding date was set very quickly. The lady that helped us didn't ask anything about my wedding, she just asked me to show her the dresses that I liked. I showed her about four dresses that I was wanting my bridesmaids to try on. She disappeared for a few minutes and then came back and told me that none of the dresses would be in in time for my wedding because it was "just too soon." I asked her if she could give me a list of dresses that I was able to choose from, and her response was "that would take me like an hour". Since she was not helping, my maid of honor and another bridesmaid asked if they could go pull some dresses. As they were pulling dresses, she would appear behind them and tell them that the dress would not be in in time for my wedding. Finally, she started to pick out dresses that would be in, and I walked over and pointed to two dresses and asked her if she could grab those as well. She walked right past me and said "I have a bride to attend to". I was completely shocked that she couldn't give us five minutes of her time. We started to try on the dresses that we had pulled, since she couldn't do that for us, and she appeared and told us that the dresses we picked would not be in for the wedding. At this point in time, all of my bridesmaids were furious. She then walked over to the bride behind us and apologized to HER. Finally, we decided on a dress that WE had picked out. They took my bridesmaids to alterations to measure them and then we went to check out. The cashier then argued with every single bridesmaid about what size dress she should get. My friend, who is a size 4 but could probably fit in a size 2, got her receipt back and it said size 8. They didn't even tell her they were changing her dress size based on her measurements, they just rang it up as an eight. Luckily she caught it and told them that she needed a size 6 (they did not have any size fours in stock or she would have gotten a four). The lady was going back and forth with her telling her that based on her measurements she was an eight. Finally I stepped in and told her that the size 4 dress was too big on her. When my maid of honor checked out, the cashier, again, recommended a larger size. Suddenly the lady who "helped" us appeared and said "if I were you I would get the bigger size. I saw that dress on you and it was a tight- it was pulling in the back". The way that she said it was extremely rude. This was the worst experience I have ever had in customer service. You would think that somebody working in sales would be a little bit friendlier and would not keep telling you that she needs to check on her bride and that she has a bride to attend to. It was also very annoying that she kept making comments about how soon my wedding was. If she would have asked me at the beginning to tell her about my fiancé and my wedding, she would know that I didn't have much time for this wedding. I wish I could give this experience zero stars. My bridesmaids and I have literally not stopped talking about what an awful experience this was and how rude the two ladies treated us. If we didn't need the dresses as soon as we did, I would have walked out of the store. I was continuously blown off for the bride as if us buying six dresses wasn't enough for the associate. I was a manager in sales for three years and was top 10 in sales out of over 50,000 employees. Two of my bridesmaids that were there also worked in sales, one as a manager and one as a district manager. I understand if she is busy and stressed about trying to help everyone, but she handled the situation very poorly. I do not recommend going to this location. What was supposed to be a happy and fun day ended up being the worst experience. read more
