I had come in before, about a year ago to try on bridesmaid dresses. I was able to get measured and then the lady was nowhere to be found, so I ended up pulling my own dresses and zipping my own dress up.. Or attempting to. That experience left me with a bad taste for this location. I recently came back with a bridal party, (4 total), and was blessed to work with Ms. Raven, who was so sweet and kind, completely erasing my feelings from the first visit. Awesome consulting from Raven! She was so wonderful! I had been to two other downtown designer boutiques the day before and neither consultant I met with was nearly as professional, caring, laid back and informed as Raven. She made the whole experience painless, even when I exhibited slightly bridezilla tendencies (hey, I hadn't eaten that day!) I tried on a slew of dresses and Raven didn't blink an eye, she never tried to pressure me or push veils on me (that's usually how they make you cry and say YTTD... we all watch bravo emirite) and I even found my dress! I had the worst experience here and left in tears. I made an appointment, saved 6 dresses online to my favorites and thought it was going to be a pretty quick trip. Once I got there I was the only one in the store. The stylist that helped me looked at the dresses I had on my list, but then kept trying to talk me into different styles. Then she disappeared for 20 minutes, only to come back with no dresses and her manager. They both tried to talk me into different styles again, suggesting getting a dress and making major alterations. I asked if I could try the dresses I had saved, so they disappeared again. 45 minutes into my appointment, they came back and said they had none of the dresses I wanted to try on, and that they weren't sure if any of them would ever be in stock. They then told me I could order online but all sales are final, which in looking at the website isn't true. They were starting to be very short with me and bullying me for being too picky, so I had to walk out having not even seen any dresses let alone get the chance to try one on. I had low expectations to start, but this was truly the worst shopping experience I had. Not worth trying to save money on the dress by going here. read more

Went in to purchase my bridesmaid dress a month in advance. To begin with, we were never informed there would be a "rush fee" after a certain point and considering I could order online and receive in 3 days, definitely didn't think it would be an issue in stores, a month early! I had a gift card to use so I initially tried to order online only to find out you can't use gift cards online?! Okay... so arrived in store, representative informed me ill be charged $20 for the rush fee and the dress will arrive in 2 weeks. Let's get this straight, I can purchase the dress online now, without being charged a rush fee and it will arrive in 3 days, but since you can't use the gift card online, I have to purchase in store? I then asked for the rush fee to be removed because that made absolutely no sense! Was informed that "the warehouse" and David's Bridal are almost 2 different companies so therefore they can't remove the fee because it belongs to the warehouse?! When all said and done, I obviously needed to get the dress so I was left with no other choice. For David's Bridal to be such a large corporation, and you already charge ridiculous prices on dresses worn one time, you would think you would be a little more customer friendly?! I definitely will be done buying dresses from here, from now on. Complete waste of money for it to sit in the back of my closet afterwards! read more

First, I'd like to say that the staff at this location is excellent. They are very helpful and are always around to help. However, I don't feel like people should be trying on these dresses, shoes, etc during this out break if Covid-19. I seen employees wiping down things several times this weekend and providing wipes to customers, however, I still believe it's beyond unsanitary and makes the spread of germs so much easier. Every other bridal shop or businesses that deals with the public directly are closing until further notice but not David's bridal. It seems as though this company cares more about making money then it does about its customers and it's employees. read more

David's Bridal is awful, awful, awful!!! 1)They carry tons of dresses to try on however they don't carry several of the dresses they offer of their website. Don't waste your time on their website. Or you'll have to take a chance and order online, pay for it in full, and then pay approx $70 to ship it back if you don't like it, then if you missed the 14 day return policy time frame you are SOL and stuck with the dress. Not to mention if you don't buy it right now they don't know if they will be able to get you the same dress closer to your wedding date. I went through at least 6 dresses I liked but couldn't even see in the store let alone try on. So I finally found one they had in the store but not in my size and I ordered it, loved it but when I saw myself in David's mirrors (buying a slip for it) I discovered it didn't love me back and I looked ridiculous in it. When I explained this to David's customer service they refused to take the brand-new gown back. My wedding isn't for another 3 months so I have plenty of time to get another dress but it won't be from David's because they won't take this dress back. Way to take care or your customers!!! This company should be out of business!!!! So now I have big, fluffy dress hanging around that I'm not going to wear. 2) Oh and the $80 bra that you must wear with your dress is a joke and also non-refundable. This bra isn't anything like the bra I tried on in the store. Perhaps it was the new girl that helped me that wasn't even familiar with what they carry for slips. read more

Customer service is slacking. I find that I often have to seek out someone to help me (I've spent a lot of time in there over the last few months planning my wedding, altering my wedding dress and shopping for bridesmaid's/MOB dresses). There is a lot of fine print/restrictions to certain items that you should pay close attention to before deciding on making a purchase, because they will fight you on a refund. And for goodness sakes, whatever you do, do NOT lose your receipt. Apparently David's Bridal hasn't jumped on the bandwagon of electronic records and won't accept an email version of receipts. I also bought something online (from David's Bridal website) that didn't fit and had to pay to ship it back because they wouldn't take it in the store. That was really mind-blowing to me, but again, read the fine print. Unfortunately, they are a cheap, one-stop shop compared to many of the nicer boutiques in the area, so they don't have much competition for those of us on a budget, which is why they can get away with less than fabulous service. It's still frustrating, as shopping for/finding/perfecting your wedding dress should be an exhilarating experience. Thankfully, I won't need to visit this store again after my wedding is over. read more

They are definitely understaffed on weekends. I went in for a "followup appointment" to pick up my bridesmaid dress. I knew what dress I wanted. I knew what size I needed. But they still insisted I try a dress on (again!) and get sized, but the lady who did the "sizing" never showed up. I ended up waiting in the dressing room for a good 15 minutes before just giving up on the "sizing" I didn't need anyway and just going to the front counter. It was a huge mess, with people and children running around everywhere. Then they said they'd give me a call when the dress came in, and that I had 2 weeks to pick it up after the dress arrived. Well, I waited and waited, but nobody ever called. Finally I called to ask the status, and the lady was rather rude, telling me that I'd be getting a call when the dress arrived and that she "guessed" she could look it up for me. Lo and Behold, my dress had been sitting there for a few days already. Oh David's Bridal - you are the Walmart of wedding dresses. read more

Sophie is AMAZING. I went in totally unannounced one day to find my dress and she was completely warm and welcoming from the very beginning. She only showed me dresses in my budget, which made things so much easier. She was very honest and helpful without being pushy. Even though I wasn't the only person in the store, I felt like I was her number one priority and she was going to do all it took for me to find my dream dress, and I did! I am so glad that such a wonderful person was able to share that moment with me. Both times I went back in after the initial visit, she remembered my name and greeted me with a smile and so much kindness. Great experience! I was hesitant at first, but this David's was so affordable and had the perfect dress for my beach wedding. My stylist, Olga, was wonderful at picking out styles, was patient, and was respectful. I couldn't have asked for a better person to help me out through a relatively daunting process. I'd recommend: 1) making an appointment (ideally not on a weekend), and 2) looking at some dresses on their website before going in. You can 'favorite' dresses you like on your account, and then they have all that info printed up and waiting when you arrive for the appointment. This made my process much faster and more streamlined. I got the perfect dress in less than 90 minutes for a great price. read more

Jenn at the Aurora location was excellent! She was warm, friendly, and attentive to me and my big group of ladies and flower girls. She helped me figure out my style, and brought out dresses that combined what I liked from each dress I tried on. She ended up pulling the gown that's most likely the one, and I never would have picked it on my own. She even got me the right slips and corset for each dress. It might be weird that I'm writing a second review on David's Bridal but after trashing the Westminster store I need to make right by saying how great the Aurora location is. They are not overbooked, or rude - they are timely, honest, and have a great selection. I did feel a little pressured to buy right away - but that was my only complaint. I appreciated the sales person honesty when she told me to stick with a bigger size cause I wasn't toned enough and I 100% appreciated her honesty. A wedding dress is super important and she was honest about how I would look. I really liked it. She did it without being insulting. All in all - a better location than Westminster. I drive out of my way to go to this store. read more

I went into David's Bridal this weekend to try on some wedding gowns and get an idea for some styles that I may like. I was so bummed that my experience was so unfortunate. I felt really rushed in my appointment and never felt like I had an opportunity to try on the gowns that I wanted. I also felt pressured to buy the one gown that I thought was just "ok." My sales associate seemed really disinterested with me, my wedding, and any sense of style that I was envisioning. She kept telling other employees that I was getting married on the beach even though I told her three times that the wedding was taking place in a beach town, but NOT on the beach. She also stuck me in a regular fitting room off to the side in a hallway instead of the traditional bridal rooms with the bigger mirrors, etc. At the end of my appointment she was just concerned with booking me for more appointments because she earned "points" for booking appointments that day when all I wanted to do was get out of there. Luckily, I gave David's Bridal a second chance at the Park Meadows location and had a much better experience! Unfortunately, I think it is ALL about the consultant that you get! read more

I have heard tons of mixed reviews about David's which led me to be a tad reluctant to go there, but my experience was nothing short of amazing. Sophie Crane was my stylist and on my first consultation she was extremely patient, very knowledgeable, knew her inventory like the back of her hand, patient, and was conscientious about staying within my budget. When I went back for a second fitting I was on the fence about two dresses. I kept having to try them on over and over again. I mean, this is the only time I plan on wearing a wedding dress so I want it to be the one I want - not the one I settled for. Every time I go into the store to pick up my other items or for fittings everyone is extremely nice and always telling me congrats and asking me about my big day! They understand the importance of the investment of a dress, and they sure know how to make a girl feel special. read more

The customer service was fine for me, but it seemed like they didn't have a lot of variety. They didn't have any Vera Wang or Melissa Sweet gowns at this location which was the main reason I went in. Another thing that was annoying is that (unless your a size 2) they are seriously lacking on a variety of sizes. I had the most amazing experience with this store! Sue was the stylist that helped me, and Lucy in alterations helped fit the dress. My sister, mother, and I just walked in on a Saturday. The store got us a stylist right then, and after a short interview we were ready to start shopping. We had picked several dresses ourselves. I tried on two, and after asking me on each one what I liked and disliked, Sue brought me the most stunning dress I had ever seen! She helped me in it, got it all arranged and clipped to where it fit properly, and then when I asked for a veil, took the time to explain the history of veils and how to wear each different length. She took the time to put everything together with veil and jewelry, etc. Having only tried on three dresses total, I bought the dress and ordered the veil. Sue was even able to get me into alterations the same day (I'm from out of town) so I don't have to worry about anything but the final fitting in September. Lucy took a lot of time fitting the dress how looked the best, and then doing an extraordinary bustle on the train. I was very nervous about wedding dress shopping, and I could not have had a better experience! Thank you to Sue and Lucy for making this an amazing day. I purchased nearly my whole bridal outfit at this store. While there selection isn't the biggest, I have always been a fan of their customer service. I have to say that the ultimate saving grace for this store is Joann. She is the most helpful, welcoming, patient, amazing person! I love her! She truly made my experience excellent. She has gone out of her way many times to help me. She also really knows what she is doing, and will make sure to help you find your dream dress. I have told her many times that she needs to be promoted, but it is very clear that she loves what she does. I will honestly never forget her and how she made my experience that much more magical. Oh, and before some of you say that I either must work here, or got paid to say this, it is absolutely not true. I really am a real-live customer. I was the Maid of Honor for my sister's wedding 2 weeks ago. The location in Washington where I ordered my original dress mis-measured me and ordered the wrong size dress. Since my dress was being discontinued, reordering was not an option. I lost weight to try and fit in the dress, but didn't lose the inches where needed. With 5 days left until the wedding, I went into this location, explained the situation and that I needed a floor length dress in Iris in my size. Jan went straight to work. She searched every dress and pulled out every option they had for me. She set me up in a fitting room and with a consultant, and then came back over numerous times to make sure everything was going smoothly. The only complaint I have, is the ladies in the back with alterations weren't very friendly or understanding. They seemed mad that I wasn't allowing much time for my dress to be steamed. Regardless of the situation, I had just gotten into town and immediately went in. Exchanging the dress or not, it still would have been the same 5 days to have it steamed. And my sister gave them fair warning ahead of time. I know that's not ideal, but giving me dirty looks and an attitude are totally uncalled for. I took the dress straight off the rack, as is. I'm sorry to write this. When my daughter picked out the dress, the lady helping us acted like it was an inconvenience. She was helping another girl also. So that was the first issue. We have been attempting to return this dress, never worn, tags on it, for MONTHS. Before Covid ever hit. The number for the Westminster store has a recording on it saying it is disconnected. Before then you could leave a message but we never got a return call. The website will tell you to text for immediate assistance. We have done that twice with no response. I finally got a hold of a live person at another store. Told her a little of what was going on, and she looked up the date and said absolutely no returns. I haven't been able to explain anything to anyone. In my opinion, as MOB, they don't care. Once they have your money, you are just another number to them. They were not very accommodating in the beginning, but now they definitely are not. If we were able to get through to somebody in the time frame, it would not have been a problem with the return. I would be careful purchasing here. If I could do no stars, I would. Sorry for writing a review like this, but the public needs to know. And since there is no way to get ahold of anybody, maybe this will work. read more

My friend ordered her wedding gown and 8 bridesmaids dresses from the aurora David's bridal. She ordered the same size dress as the sample she tried on. The dress came in and she picked it up (the dress wasn't even in a garment bag) for me to alter for her. The dress was at least a size smaller than the sample. Her mother went into the store today to ask if they could exchange sizes which she was told by another David's bridal store to do, and was told that the dress had left the store so they were no longer responsible, and that the sample dress she tried on was probably stretched. How is a stretched sample my friend's problem? If they are special ordering a dress the staff should be well aware of their samples. They also will not press the gown because she is not having it altered there! Customer service and a satisfied customer clearly is not a priority. BRIDES BEWARE! read more
