Absolutely horrible experience with this family business. Based on my personal experience, I feel they have a pattern of taking advantage of people and treating them poorly. There has been so much inconsistency and instability that it has been extremely disappointing and frustrating to deal with. The situation has left me feeling used, disrespected, and taken advantage of. Called to make an appointment and they abruptly closed the office and the voicemail said to see another provider or go to urgent care. No email, call, letter or nothing to give a heads up. This man is one of the greatest doctors I've ever known. I've been seeing him from the beginning of his Kaneohe practice. You will never get a better and more accurate diagnosis. His first instincts are almost always on point. He listens to you thoroughly. He treats you like you are his only patient. This man cares for his patients like family. He would never make you take a drug that he wouldn't give his own family. He will give options and what each option entails. He never makes you feel rushed. He will answer all your questions. If you need a PCP for your family. Dr. David Samsami is an excellent doctor that i highly recommend. He will sit down nd listen to you first then hecwill explain what he thinks or know what's the problem. I have a few PCP that they don't even listen to you while you are explaining your problem. They just let you what is your problem and what you need. Dr. Samsami will listen first then explain all the details to you and go from there. I had a tattoo infection and he's was able to get me in and out and treated right away. He's staff were friendly and his office is cleaned. Long ago were the days of waiting hours in the doctors office. I thought. Today we had an appointment with the Dr. and waited for an 45 min before being called and another 45 for the appointment. I asked the receptionist if my sis was okay because this wait was ridiculous. She simply got defensive and closed the window in my face. Wow! Following the interaction with the receptionist, the doctor got defensive too and said that we could go to another doctor if we weren't happy. Really? Based on my last 4 visits I can say that I have anything negative to say. I'll start with my first visit, I had just got injured and was looking for a primary care physician. I called around 9am, they were able to help me that day. I was able to schedule an appointment for a few hours later. That initial appointment did that some time as they had to get a decent amount of information from me. The nurse was a really nice lady, she was easy going and made me feel comfortable. In the facility I was able to also able have my X-rays taken and pick up my medication. I was also referred to an awesome physical therapist. My visits since then were rather quick, I would be able to get in and out within 40 minutes or so. Dr. Samsami definitely helped me get better and find me additional help that he couldn't provide. Only negative is that they don't validate parking, it normally costs around $1.50 or so so it's not a huge deal breaker or anything. read more

The quality of care is unacceptable. My husband went to Dr. Samsami and we repeatedly had to call the office for follow up. The last call we made a week ago, and have not heard back! His first appointment we were sent away with no answers and in the emergency room the next day. Again we had to follow up with the doctor. Terrible service from a Dr. Had an appointment scheduled for 9:45 so I came early and was there by 9:30. 10:30 and they still have not called me! I had another appointment scheduled for 10:30 so, naturally, I was a bit upset. I almost walked out when they told me that they would still charge me as if I received services!!! Doesn't sound right to me at all. NOw, I missed my next appointment and I am still sitting here in this stupid office and I can't leave because they'll charge me anyways. To top it off, Dr. Samsami only needs to refer me to a specialist but they still insist I come in just to get that referral that I need. Bunch of IDIOTS that work here!!! read more

Terrible wait times. My husband initially asked Dr. Samsami to refer him to a dermatologist. Dr. Samsami decided it was a better idea to treat my husband's condition himself. After 3 failed medication attempts, we finally insisted on a dermatologist referral and Dr. Samsami required yet another appointment, just for a referral paper. This appointment along with the previous 3 appointments, my husband has waited for 2+ hours past his appointment time before seeing Dr. Samsami. Changed doctors because my other one had an unfriendly staff, and the waiting time was at least 30 mins... this place has me waiting even longer. Been here 4 times, and the shortest wait time I had so far was 45 mins. I understand that everyone needs to be seen and it's hard to find doctors that aren't busy, but if they can't handle the load they need to book less patients. My husband has high BP, high col, and borderline diabetes, instead of giving advice and reference for counseling of these problems,he sold him "anti-oxident pills". Every family md I've ever known would at least give some pamphlets regarding these serious conditions. Oh yes the machine he had in his office to "test for anti-oxidents" bis no longer there. I have been seeing Dr. Samsami for years. Unfortunately now it seems the quality in his practice has dropped dramatically. I'm fighting a upper respiratory infection and called for a appointment but was told I couldn't be seen until Monday, today is wednesday and the best they can do is 5 days out WOW. I don't see how that is acceptable to schedule someone 5 days out. The other upsetting part is the last few times my husband and I have made appointments we both have had to wait a ridiculous amount of time even though we arrived early. 2-3 hours to be seen by a doctor is unreasonable. It really saddens me that his practice has gone down hill so much. We will be looking for a new doctor here in Kaneohe. read more

This office is all about money. Too many patients, long waits and low quality cattle medical care. By the way, you have to pay for parking. This doctor does not want to send you to specialists because he wants to keep most of the insurance money for himself. Business comes first and health care second. Have to agree with everyone else with this doctors office and the wait time. It is by far RIDICULOUS!! You literally wait an average 40 minutes-1hr, then get your vitals done, just to get in your room to wait another 30-45 minutes, talk to the doctor about 2-5 minutes and your out.
