Never judge a book by its cover, or be fooled by the wolf in sheep's clothing…read more If you are wanting an experienced dentist and staff that provide EXCELLENT dental services for a more than fair price as, opposed to the price-gouging service charges to pay for the "modern, state of the art" office, then this is where you need to be. The office may seem outdated or "Fred Flintstone" as one mentioned in another review, however the services are not! I would rather pay less (fair price) for EXCELLENT services than more to pay for the dentist's bells and whistles and shoddy services any day! Try the services before judging the book cover. You may just be pleasantly surprised.

Dr Moore has been my dentist since 2013. Times when I've had dental insurance, and times when I…read morehaven't. Today, as a self pay patient, the doctor and his staff once again treated me with the utmost respect, were willing to consider my financial situation (instead of pushing me into something), and worked with me to get a treatment plan that suited me, my finances, and the future of my teeth. I've had extractions, cleanings, and root canals at Dr Moore's office, and everyone there is so kind and knowledgeable, I just won't go anywhere else. I haven't needed it, but they do provide sedation dentistry for folks who have a dental fear. I would recommend them to anyone. His office is on Roan right next to Boones Creek Pharmacy (another great local business), he's a Tennessee native, and a veteran. Make an appointment.

This is a hard mix to find, especially in the medical profession. I was particularly impressed with my parents' last visit. This practice has taken all of the necessary steps to protect their patients against COVID-19. For example, we waited in the car until it was time for my parents' appointment. Staff came wearing masks to the car and escorted my parents inside and returned my parents at the end of the appointment. Also, staff took the time to explain the results of their exam to me and invited me to use their restroom or bring coffee back to our car while I waited. This was a very nice touch. My parents and Johnson City are very fortunate to have Dr. Moore's practice.

A total stranger told me, oh he's really a dentist. I said, I'm glad he's good at something because as a contractor he stinks. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and they tried to contact him but he ignored them like his employees ignore people they have contracts with. He even REVIEWED his OWN business on the Wood Construction website! Since my negative reviews on Google etc for Wood C&R LLC get ignored maybe I'll have to get my teeth straightened by $33,000 to get his attention. How do they sleep ripping off disabled old ladies like me? I'm living in a wreck of a house for months with nothing but excuses and he lives in a mansion... Give me my money back "Doc." If I could leave zero stars I would.

Went to hospital, they couldn't help , no dentists in Tazewell or anywhere near would see me or help me because I wasn't an established patient . My daughter n law made the last call we were going to make to ask for help and thank God it was Dr Moore and Laningham's office! Dr Laningham didn't care if I was an established patient , he did care that I was in pain and needed help. Him and his assistant gave up part of their Saturday to come in and remove my tooth so I wouldn't have to be in pain the rest of the weekend , and so I could finally eat or drink something! He also charged me less than we paid for my husband to have a tooth removed during regular business hours with a scheduled appointment! If I need any dental done while I'm still around the area , I will drive the hour to go there. Nice to know there are doctors out that that still care and have compassion and sympathy for someone in pain. Him and his assistant was very nice and professional . I felt very welcomed and comfortable in his office. Dr Laningham and assistant ( wish I remembered her name )Thankyou so much for your kindness and help when no one else would !
