They have an extensive amount of colors to choose from (including gel, acrylic, and regular polish). I always choose regular polish as other ones hurt my nails. I also chose to keep the pedi/mani basic today. The service was incredible. She got all of my stuff fixed AND offered to put a flower on my big toes (FOR FREE). Additionally, I had a blister on my foot and she was very considerate and gentle and even trimmed the skin around that for me (she did not have to lol). There was a moment during my manicure that she nipped the cuticle wrong and a little blood spotted up, but she handled it swiftly and it never hurt me. The vibes inside are nice, it's small and intimate but the music is clean and the tv and massage chairs are relaxing. Pro tip: There is free 2hr street parking available in the area! Said no one ever, "I want my nail tech to charge me money to do my nails for me and rush through as fast as possible, making lots of mistakes." I'm not sure why the level of professionalism has gone down so far to rock bottom here, other than the owner has gotten so greedy that cranking people in and out as fast as possible is more important to her than having techs take their time and perform a high-quality service. Listen to me loud and clear: not only can I (and will I) take my business elsewhere, I can do my own nails at home! I have alllll the equipment. And if I can produce a higher-quality output than paying someone to do it for me, why should I be donating you my money? I'm so disappointed in some of my experiences here, especially my last one, that I will go way out of my way, going forward, to avoid coming here again. All I wanted was a pedicure. The tech who did my pedicure was done in lightening-speed time. It blew my mind!!! I even said out lout "That was the fastest pedicure of my entire life!" A pedi should take close to an hour, but this tech somehow got done in like 20 mins. Also, I want to be pampered, not a rush job! That's what we pay for!!! When I got home, I looked closer and realized the nail polish was all messy and uneven, didn't cover all of my nails, and was also on my skin and not cleaned up!!! WTH! Then, the dead skin!!! OMG, I started trimming my own hanging, jagged skin at home that the tech didn't do cleanly, well, or professionally. Then I realized, I just paid someone my money to do this for me! Why would I need to, immediately after paying, go home and have to spend my time fixing a "professional's" job? Insane! It was the worst pedicure of my life. I decided I was going back. Once I got back, the main person, I think the owner, refused to go get the exact color I had on. I don't know why or what her problem was. I eventually gave up and let her do another color that was similar. And I'm so over her walking around constantly saying, "Nice color", "Ooh that's a nice color", "What a pretty color", it's how she panders to you. You know what? Stop telling me "nice color" and just give me a GREAT service instead of placating me. Other times I've come in here, they text me a "discount," then don't want to honor the discount because I didn't spend enough money. You know what? If there are caveats to your "discounts", then put that in the original offer before I drag my behind into your business. Another thing they do a lot that I hate is start looking at my fingernails to judge me/them and criticize me as a way to very rudely try to get me to spend more money there! It's angering!!!! They'll even ask, "Did you do yourself at home?" because they feel like that is a way to criticize me. And even if my nails are still looking in good shape, they want to judge me just because I'm not having "them" do my fingernails. Stop making your customers feel bad because they get pedis and don't want a mani! Money doesn't grow on trees, you know!!! The rest of my body is none of your business. Just pay attention to doing an excellent, A-class job on the service I DID decide to award to you! (which isn't even being done as it is!). Stop pressuring customers to spend, spend, spend. We don't want that when we are trying to relax and pamper! STOP RUSHING! Stop being so greedy! You've lost a long-time customer with your antics and behavior.

Today was the complete opposite. The staff openly talked about my hand to each other in their language, fully aware that my hand is prosthetic. If you can't or don't want to work on it, just say so. I've lived with this my whole life -- honesty doesn't hurt me. What does hurt is being talked about like I'm not standing right there. They made me feel small and embarrassed. They clearly didn't think I understood them, but I understood every word, and none of it was appropriate or kind. I left the salon in tears. On top of the disrespect, they also overcharged me. Both visits were the same service -- a rebase on one hand, because the other doesn't need it. The first time, it was $45. Today, suddenly it was $65. So not only was I disrespected and stared at like I was some kind of spectacle, I was also charged a completely different price for the exact same service. If you have any kind of disability, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This salon clearly doesn't know how to treat people with dignity. If you can't work on someone's hand, say it directly -- don't whisper about them to your coworkers and make them feel less than human.
