The things they sell are helpful to more than professional jewelers. My father, for example, is a botanist who studies mosses. He buys all of his hand lenses here (and then proceeds to wear them around his neck and continually get asked why he's wearing a whistle.) I like them for their beading cord and tool quality. This is the kind of place that is trying to keep itself a secret. THERE IS NO SIGN. Let me repeat that. THIS STORE DOES NOT HAVE A SIGN. They also keep their door locked a lot of the time, so you knock and look somewhat respectable and they let you in. (The store is located right next to the plasma donation place, and they apparently get some interesting characters in.) If you're an artist or a beader or a botanist/entomologist/etc. I highly suggest dropping in sometime. It will be worth your while.

When I finally reached someone by phone, I was told -- directly -- that they don't have time to answer emails or take calls because they are too busy. Read that again: too busy to answer customers who are trying to give them money. There is no proper online ordering system, no follow-up, no basic customer service, and zero respect for potential buyers. If you don't want to sell online or respond to inquiries, then don't pretend to have a website that suggests otherwise. This is not how a legitimate or serious business operates in 2025. Ignoring customers and brushing them off with "we're busy" is unacceptable. Communication is the bare minimum -- and they completely failed. If you value your time or expect even basic professionalism, look elsewhere. What a mess.

I recently accepted a project, from my Grandmother to get her ring repaired. (Read my next review why this was a "project") Well, I took it to Keva around 2:00p,m. today, got the estimate (because they have an onsite Jeweler-like you would expect from a jewlery store). Carla, was not only prompt in welcoming me to the store but was friendly as well. We had a laugh when she asked "Are you wanting it repaired or wanting to sell it?" because in all honesty, I just laid it on the counter and started rambling. Not telling her what I wanted at all. She took it over to Kevin the Jeweler, he took a look at it,came to the counter, introduced himself and explained what needed to be done. "One prong. $xx.xx amount the other three as well, $xx.xx amount" Cleaning, something else and something else included. I cant remember now. And I was on my way to confirm with my Grandmother the service and date the job was expected completed. I came back 15 minutes later, they had the job. They've actually been in business over 20 years. They had a small shop, over near a Dr. Office park. And moved to Jungle Jims somewhat recently.(There not in the Grocery itself. Their to the right of CiCis pizza. About in the smack dab center of the shopping strip) When you enter the shop, you'll think it's a mall Jeweler. Bright lights, modern/contemporary design. Very professional appearance. Kevin works on the jewelery in the open, but near the corner he's got his work station setup. You can tell he's a perfectionist by how clean the area is. And they are animal lovers. They've got a German Shepard, that patrols the back of the cases and is friendly without being annoying (licking your face,barking while your trying to talk. Pros-Attentiveness, prices, explanation of services, cleanliness. Variety of different types/styles of jewelry. (not a ton of one style and only one of something else.) ability to make custom settings on the spot. I thought the ring was a gift from my Grandpa, it was from her Grandmother. It's at least 65 years old, however after getting it back from Keva, it looked like a brand new ring. When I got it back, Kevin explained what all he had done with the setting, showed where one of the above mentioned prongs needed tightened and made the main diamond shine like a new car on a clear day. Kevin takes time to chat with His Customers. He wants you to come back, and it shows in His handling and explanation. My ring was a small potatoes job for him, however I felt like I was a priority because of his and Carlas attentiveness and willingness to listen and explain. Keva not only found the stones but replaced them with expert precision. The bracelet looked like it had never been damaged at all! I will never take any jewelry for repairs to any other jeweler. Since then, I had a few more opportunities working with him, as well as referring him to my friends for their jewelry need. We only heard all good things about Mr. Nguyen, including some difficult fixes or custom designs and they were all happy with the result. One mentioned because he is the only jewelry technician with a Master's degree in his field in this state of Ohio, so nothing is much challenging to him, to be trusted with the most important and valuable items from the customers, not to mention he has invested in some special laser devices that not many stores have, which made things perfectly cut and customized. Then a problem arose in which his expensive laser testing tool said my bar wasn't gold. It was sealed in a plastic case to protect the bar and the maker's stamping. He suggested I call the company from whom I bought it, which I did but they offered no help. I went back to Tony and asked him to remove the container and rescan it - and all was well. Throughout all this Tony was considerate and helpful, as well as teaching me all the aspects about this sort of thing. I feel like he is a man of integrity and clearly he knows his business! Highly recommend. I will be back to sell my coin collection.
