We are under a tight schedule and needed to undo current upholstery to cut down some pews and then reattach once pews are put together again. I spoke with them maybe 2 months ago for pricing and letting them know our schedule. Then when calling to confirm, I left 3 specific messages with no response whatsoever. I have also used them for personal jobs. Each time I swear never to use them again. Late, once all smelling of smoke (!) and once job not to my satisfaction. Will definitely find a new, professional upholsterer.

I probably should've walked right back out the door upon walking in, as the first thing you'll see is the furniture to be completed haphazardly strewn about the store--that should've been my first clue. Regardless, I brought in my mid-Century modern armchair here to have its cushions redone and decided upon a oxblood leather with contrast stitching and was quoted at about $100 more than a major competitor (2nd, perhaps more obvious clue). But, I didn't feel like shopping around anymore, and I've always been a sucker for supporting small, private businesses. All of this is compounded by the fact that my chair is now over a month overdue for its originally anticipated completion date. I will update this review once I get my chair back (hopefully).

This was 13 steps, hallway and 3 bedrooms. I paid them and later took a Rug doctor machine and recleaned an area of about 4 feet by 9 feet the water in the machine was very dirty to dark brown. Excellent communication - response within a day of my inquiry and an appointment set within two days, including an onsite estimate. The estimate even included pickup and delivery, which was a nice perk. The estimate showed that I actually needed less work done than I'd planned for. Unexpected but also nice to see. The lead time between estimate and pickup was about three weeks, but it wasn't a "must be done NOW" project and that time passed pretty quickly. Once the cushions actually got picked up, they were restuffed and delivered within two days. Price was very reasonable and definitely competitive with other vendors. Would hire again for furniture projects, no question.
