Albert is the best! I call him for all my electrical work. He's very responsive, does great work, and his prices are the best. He's extremely trustworthy, and will always explain all the best options and costs. So far he's installed recessed lighting, replaced all breaker switches, added 3x 20A GFCI outlets, and an additional exterior outlet. I will continue to call him for all my future electrical work!

The conduit , offset fitting, and weather head were exactly as Albert described on his initial visit. Conduit & panel level and plumb.

I called four electricians for estimates to upgrade our service panel from 100 to a 200 amp panel. Albert was the only one who came to give me an on site estimate. The others gave me a verbal estimate over the phone. I told all the companies I called my city's building dept. to ask the amount of the permit ($118) and would pull the permit myself. One company employee argued with me that it would cost more than that. I did not select that company. My reasoning is if I start off disagreeing with the company initially, what would happen during the rest of the project? Albert clearly explained the work he planned to do, the brand he would be using, and gave me a timeline. Albert coordinated with PG&E and arranged a smooth transition to disconnect and reconnect my upgraded service panel. Because of the way my old house was originally wired, PG&E required a junction box for the old wiring before being connected to the new service panel. Albert gave me a choice between a metal (more expensive) or plastic junction box (less expensive). Both are approved by current electrical code standards. I chose the plastic box. The City inspector passed Albert's installation on his first inspection. Albert was communicative and did not try to upsell me other services. In fact, because of a time line deadline, I considered using Albert's stucco person but Albert knew I was handy and told me I was capable of doing it myself. I felt that Albert is honest, ethical, and reliable. His estimate was reasonable. I plan to have Albert upgrade my sub panel in our garage next year. Highly recommended.

GFCI outlet on its own circuit for a bidet.

Albert is so nice and very professional. We needed a GFCI outlet added to our bathroom on its own circuit before we had scheduled retiling/paint work and Albert fit us in on short notice. Over the phone he walked me through many questions to make sure the work could be done right away and he was very helpful and respectful. Ultimately he got the outlet installed quickly, cleaned up after himself and charged us a fair rate. Thanks again!

Recessed lighting in the family room

We wanted to install recessed lights throughout our new home (roughly 40 canned lights), so we called several places to get quotes/research. A few of the places we called were completely booked for a couple months out, however they actually recommended that I give David Electric a call. Albert, the owner, quickly got back to us, and we had our appointment set within the week. During our meeting with Albert in person, we found that he was very professional, understanding of our budgets, and offered suggestions to us for what would look best. Getting recessed lights could be rather stressful in terms of budget, placement of the lights, how many lights, what kind of lights, how many lumens, color, etc., but Albert made made the process very smooth. We went with all of his recommendations and we love how everything turned out! It only took him about 2 days to complete the project. Albert will be our go to guy for any electric issues we may run into in the future or improvements we want to have made. I'm thankful that he ended up being the electrician!

Chargepoint Flex EV Charger installed with 50 amp breaker

This is the third time we are getting David Electric's service. Albert was punctual and finished the job as promised within a short window. Installed a EV charger with 50 amp breaker and the price (including material and labor) is way lower than what other electricians quoted.

I had several outlets installed and a light that is mounted to the ceiling, which required attic access. Albert was thorough, explained every thing every step of the way, and did an excellent job. I am so thankful to have an electrician in my book that I can call on. This is a business you can rely on, and that's what we all need.

Albert installed dusk to dawn light
    Amit S.

I will be giving 5 star to Albert for his professionalism and service. He installed dawn to dusk light and flood light for my garage. He charged a very reasonable price. After finishing the job he cleaned the garage. He takes good care of his customers and is very patient. His quotes for recess lights was also very competitive and had some great ideas. I would highly recommend him for electrical work.

Albert from David Electric has worked on adding recess lights and ceiling fan at our place. He communicated well and showed up promptly. Explained us the process, completed the job in time. Would surely recommend to my friends.

They managed a seamless 200-amp panel upgrade (including PG&E coordination and permits), ensuring everything was grounded and bonded to modern safety standards. Inside, they wired every room--from the kitchen and bathrooms to three bedrooms--installing dedicated 20-amp circuits, LED recessed lighting, and code-compliant AFCI/GFCI protection. They also installed a 125-amp sub-panel in the garage with fire-rated framing and hardwired our entire smoke/CO detector system. Beyond the technical work, their attention to detail was impressive. They rerouted camera wiring inside the walls to eliminate exposed pipes and handled all the stucco and drywall patching/texturing to match my existing walls. Duke Electrical is professional, uses high-quality materials (Square D), and handles complex, large-scale residential projects with ease. Highly recommended! Duke, Eddie and team were amazing!

I recently hired Bahram (Altap) to replace our old Challenger main electrical panel and upgrade it to 200A to prepare for a new heat pump system. I brought in four different electricians for bids, and Bahram was the easiest choice. Out of all the estimators, he was the first one who had the expertise to immediately point out a critical code requirement regarding the distance to our gas meter. On top of that, he gave us the best price of the four and never once tried to upsell me. I just felt incredibly comfortable and at ease talking to him. Because the heat pump installation was entirely dependent on the electrical being finished first, the timing was critical. Bahram had the experience to perfectly orchestrate the logistics. He navigated the City of Cupertino inspectors and PG&E, pulling off the city sign-off and the PG&E power reconnect on the exact same day. Over the few weeks this project spanned from estimate to completion, he might be quiet for a few days at a time, but he always came through. He responded exactly when it mattered, did exactly what he promised (including a last-minute breaker install right before the HVAC crew arrived), and delivered flawless work. He even connected us with a fantastic handyman to patch the walls afterward.

I didn't appreciate the urgency (she said I needed it done asap, when I had at least 4 to 5 months). Aside from that, the communication from the project manager was competent & efficient. When Trout took over communication went haywire. During the city permitting process they said in their letter to me that I just needed to be home for (think the window was 8:30 to 9:45am). They said nothing about having to keep opening and closing my garage door access. Well, I refuse to use my PTO from work because they're not sure how long they're going to be, or the start and end times. So around 3 PM at work I got a frantic text from another (different) project manager asking me to open my garage. Well, hello, there is no power, so how can I open the garage? Finally, they got that sorted out and around 5 PM one of their techs asked me to open my garage. I never got a response back from him when I asked to confirm if he was done and I could shut it again (by the way, I was doing this remotely from work since I have an app.) Communication needs to greatly improve in order for me to recommend this business.

When I asked Caio, the owner, about it, I was told that they could not identify it during testing and that it might be connected to a hidden outlet. I was advised to turn the breaker off for several hours, or even a day, and see what stops working. When I asked what the old panel had listed for that breaker, I was told there was no label. As a customer who paid on time and in full, I expected better accountability. Since all of the wiring was stripped and reconnected during the panel replacement, I believe identifying and properly labeling the circuits should have been part of the job. The lack of ownership and follow-through was frustrating. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this service moving forward.
