Albert is the best! I call him for all my electrical work. He's very responsive, does great work, and his prices are the best. He's extremely trustworthy, and will always explain all the best options and costs. So far he's installed recessed lighting, replaced all breaker switches, added 3x 20A GFCI outlets, and an additional exterior outlet. I will continue to call him for all my future electrical work!

The conduit , offset fitting, and weather head were exactly as Albert described on his initial visit. Conduit & panel level and plumb.

I called four electricians for estimates to upgrade our service panel from 100 to a 200 amp panel. Albert was the only one who came to give me an on site estimate. The others gave me a verbal estimate over the phone. I told all the companies I called my city's building dept. to ask the amount of the permit ($118) and would pull the permit myself. One company employee argued with me that it would cost more than that. I did not select that company. My reasoning is if I start off disagreeing with the company initially, what would happen during the rest of the project? Albert clearly explained the work he planned to do, the brand he would be using, and gave me a timeline. Albert coordinated with PG&E and arranged a smooth transition to disconnect and reconnect my upgraded service panel. Because of the way my old house was originally wired, PG&E required a junction box for the old wiring before being connected to the new service panel. Albert gave me a choice between a metal (more expensive) or plastic junction box (less expensive). Both are approved by current electrical code standards. I chose the plastic box. The City inspector passed Albert's installation on his first inspection. Albert was communicative and did not try to upsell me other services. In fact, because of a time line deadline, I considered using Albert's stucco person but Albert knew I was handy and told me I was capable of doing it myself. I felt that Albert is honest, ethical, and reliable. His estimate was reasonable. I plan to have Albert upgrade my sub panel in our garage next year. Highly recommended.

GFCI outlet on its own circuit for a bidet.

Albert is so nice and very professional. We needed a GFCI outlet added to our bathroom on its own circuit before we had scheduled retiling/paint work and Albert fit us in on short notice. Over the phone he walked me through many questions to make sure the work could be done right away and he was very helpful and respectful. Ultimately he got the outlet installed quickly, cleaned up after himself and charged us a fair rate. Thanks again!

Recessed lighting in the family room

We wanted to install recessed lights throughout our new home (roughly 40 canned lights), so we called several places to get quotes/research. A few of the places we called were completely booked for a couple months out, however they actually recommended that I give David Electric a call. Albert, the owner, quickly got back to us, and we had our appointment set within the week. During our meeting with Albert in person, we found that he was very professional, understanding of our budgets, and offered suggestions to us for what would look best. Getting recessed lights could be rather stressful in terms of budget, placement of the lights, how many lights, what kind of lights, how many lumens, color, etc., but Albert made made the process very smooth. We went with all of his recommendations and we love how everything turned out! It only took him about 2 days to complete the project. Albert will be our go to guy for any electric issues we may run into in the future or improvements we want to have made. I'm thankful that he ended up being the electrician!

Chargepoint Flex EV Charger installed with 50 amp breaker

This is the third time we are getting David Electric's service. Albert was punctual and finished the job as promised within a short window. Installed a EV charger with 50 amp breaker and the price (including material and labor) is way lower than what other electricians quoted.

I had several outlets installed and a light that is mounted to the ceiling, which required attic access. Albert was thorough, explained every thing every step of the way, and did an excellent job. I am so thankful to have an electrician in my book that I can call on. This is a business you can rely on, and that's what we all need.

Albert installed dusk to dawn light

I will be giving 5 star to Albert for his professionalism and service. He installed dawn to dusk light and flood light for my garage. He charged a very reasonable price. After finishing the job he cleaned the garage. He takes good care of his customers and is very patient. His quotes for recess lights was also very competitive and had some great ideas. I would highly recommend him for electrical work.

After perusing Yelp to find a highly rated electrician, I found several. I called David Electric and a few others. When Albert from David Electric came out, my husband and I knew hew was our man. He was extremely knowledgeable and explained in detail what would be involved in replacing our panel. We knew for some time that we needed a new panel and didn't look forward to the hassle. Albert made it hassle free and at a very fair price. Such a kind, professional that we would highly recommend. He was also kind enough to refer a stucco guy, Jerry Pond, who's work looks to be fabulous. I still need to paint it, but it appears to match the existing stucco very well. We're more than pleased with Albert's job and his stucco referral. Thank you, Albert!

There were no visible markings on this 7" bulb, and I wasn't going to take it into a Home Depot or Lowe's to find a replacement (they'd probably have to special-order it for me). The guy at the counter took one look at it, disappeared into the back and returned with its replacement! I laughed; we laughed - I was relieved not to have to change out the entire fixture! On a side note, one of the great things about this place is that they accept lightbulbs for recycling. I have been coming here for quite a while doing this (the big retailers don't do that anymore), and recently switched out all of my fluorescent bulbs for LED ones in the garage and kitchen. They took all of the old (and new) bulbs cheerfully, even though I exceeded the drop off limit. Thanks guys!

It was stressful and overwhelming, until Henry from California Power & Light stepped in. Henry responded after normal business hours because it was an emergency and immediately assessed the situation. What really stood out was how he took ownership of the entire process. He leveraged his contacts with PG&E and the city, coordinated everything that needed to happen, and moved incredibly fast. Not only did he arrange the response right away, he reworked his company's schedule to get a crew to our house the very next day. From there, he coordinated with PG&E, handled the permitting process, and got the city inspection completed within two days, something that is extremely rare in a situation like this. Beyond the technical expertise and speed, Henry was simply great to deal with. He communicated clearly, stayed calm, and brought a sense of control to what was otherwise a very stressful situation for our family.
