I didn't appreciate the urgency (she said I needed it done asap, when I had at least 4 to 5 months). Aside from that, the communication from the project manager was competent & efficient. When Trout took over communication went haywire. During the city permitting process they said in their letter to me that I just needed to be home for (think the window was 8:30 to 9:45am). They said nothing about having to keep opening and closing my garage door access. Well, I refuse to use my PTO from work because they're not sure how long they're going to be, or the start and end times. So around 3 PM at work I got a frantic text from another (different) project manager asking me to open my garage. Well, hello, there is no power, so how can I open the garage? Finally, they got that sorted out and around 5 PM one of their techs asked me to open my garage. I never got a response back from him when I asked to confirm if he was done and I could shut it again (by the way, I was doing this remotely from work since I have an app.) Communication needs to greatly improve in order for me to recommend this business.

After the work was completed, I noticed that one breaker on my panel was missing a label. When I asked Caio, the owner, about it, I was told that they could not identify it during testing and that it might be connected to a hidden outlet. I was advised to turn the breaker off for several hours, or even a day, and see what stops working. When I asked what the old panel had listed for that breaker, I was told there was no label. As a customer who paid on time and in full, I expected better accountability. Since all of the wiring was stripped and reconnected during the panel replacement, I believe identifying and properly labeling the circuits should have been part of the job. The lack of ownership and follow-through was frustrating. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this service moving forward.

Arsen Electric is top drawer! We've used Dmitry for two different projects -- installing a 240V circuit for an EV charger and diagnosing a problem with our electric panel. Rather than jumping in to install a new panel plus a separate circuit for our microwave oven, he noted that using halogen lights and an old microwave caused spikes that made the breaker trip. As a first step, he suggested changing our lights to LEDs and buying a new energy smart microwave to reduce the load on the circuit. His cautious approach saved us thousands of dollars. Even though it's a minor fix, he responded promptly, addressed and rectified all the comments from the City without any additional cost incurred. He was prompt and asked me to send picture of circuit breaker the prior day so that he can shop materials before coming to work. He was prompt, knowledgeable, did very good job and answered all my questions. His charges were reasonable. I had a couple of non functioning bathroom outlets and asked him to replace it. The project Polo bid for me was to install three L2…read morecar chargers in the garage of a multi-family building, which - beyond the just the chargers - required upgrading the service to the garage from 20a to 100a, running perhaps 60' of roof-run conduit; 60' of trenching; lots of 2" conduit; two new 200a panels; and tying it all together to the existing 400a service at the front of the building and the existing "common area" panel in the middle of the property. Polo gave a competitive quote; worked thru several complications and design iterations, incorporating both some incremental upgrades I requested such as an additional conduit line for future low-voltage needs, and working within the tight physical constraints and limited upgrade options of the existing panel, exploring a few alternatives with both PG&E and the original equipment manufacturer to get to a solution that worked for the property, the utility, and the city. Once we finalized the details, Polo & his team took care of the work very quickly and professionally. There were no surprises during the job; and he provided tight quality control on his team, redoing a few things that almost certainly would have passed inspection but which were not to his liking. And - as someone who has done more than my share of electrical projects in the past - its very clear that he takes pride in his work: he used flex conduit only in a few very small areas, doing very clean EMT conduit bends just about everywhere else. I wish I had more projects I could engage him on! I wholeheartedly recommend Polo / Lumisol.

The Tesla Neurio meter monitors the panel's total load and the Tesla Wall Connector will automatically adjust charging speed to keep the panel from overloading.
