Dmitry installed 48A tesla charger, generator inlet (with interlock switch) and a extra 240V outlet. His quote is detailed with all the materials listed and prices very reasonable. I hired ARSEN Electric to upgrade my current electrical service panel from 125 Amps to 200 Amps. Dimitry from ARSEN Electric came out to my house and gave me a free estimate. Some other companies I had contacted only looked at pictures and gave me estimates online or wanted to charge for their estimate. Dimitry took the time to talk over the job with me and what it would entail (e.g. grounding the system to the water main, adding a junction box beneath the panel to solve some wiring issues due to code having changed, changing pipes into the box, etc.). We had Dmitry and his team install an EV charger at our place (Tesla universal charger). They told me that our 240V line wouldn't be able to do the full 48A (it's connected to a subpanel), but we've been able to get it charging our Tesla at a reduced amperage without any problems (Dmitry had mentioned we'd have to reduce it to 40A, but in reality we've had to go down to 30-35A). Dmitry came in with 2 other guys, and even helped clean up some of the electric wiring mess we had in our attic (left by a handyman)! Just had an electric charger installed by Arsen Electric. Dmitry, the owner, came for a free estimate. He arrived on time, was extremely thorough in his evaluation. Spent about an hour going through all the details. Our project wasn't straightforward as the main panel was full and needed a new subpanel along with the fact that our main panel was as far as possible from the intended location of the charger. I contacted several electricians (all with good Yelp reviews) and Arsen was by far the most thorough. I had estimates by three others. Some electricians prefer just asking you to take pictures of your panel and give estimates virtually. Dmitry spent the time to make sure everything was considered. Before he left, he gave me detailed PDF estimates with line items. Fast forward to install day and Dmitry arrived with 3 staff. Installation was flawless and on time. Hired Arsen to install a 3rd generation tesla charger and very pleased with the work. Dmitry was able to quickly give me a quote over yelp, and was able to come within a few days. The work itself exceeded expectations. Based on pictures sent over yelp, the electricians I contacted all said we could only do a 50 amp install. However, when Arsen took a look in person, they were able to bump up to 60 amps, which means faster charging. Their craftsmanship is great. All wires are run under the house in the crawl space leaving nothing exposed outside of the house. All metal piping in the garage was checked with a water level.
