I contracted with Alexander Electric and owner Ryan Romero, for the purpose of installing ceiling fans and recessed can lights in several rooms in my home. The job required running additional electrical to the origins of the fans and lights including wall switches with dimmers. For me, the job was straight forward; I wanted a fan centered in each room, with four recessed lights spaced equal distance from the fan and walls of the room. Simple....
What I got was much more. Initially, Mr. Romeo took time to talk with me, evaluating the spaces, and assessing what my needs were. I was focused on increasing the over-all lighting of the rooms.
He saw the design potential of highlighting pictures and artwork, lighting nooks, flooding walls with a soft light, etc. while providing the increased room light that I originally wanted. He was extremely knowledgeable, helping me select appropriate fixtures, keeping my budget in mind. He was professional, but personable, scheduling a date and time to work, and sticking to it. He even cleaned up the construction dust! I didn't have to do a thing!
Now when the sun goes down, my home becomes a showcase. I can't believe how beautiful the rooms are and what a difference accent lighting makes! And frankly, the cost was the same, the difference is Ryan Romero's design ideas gave me fabulous, instead of the ordinary lighting I originally thought I wanted. read more
