During checkout I found out that the 3d-xray comes at a cost of $310 and it's a medical procedure (out of network) and the surgical center wanted their $310 prior to me leaving the building. This left a sour taste in my mouth, and I thought about going elsewhere for the surgery. However, I was already too deep at this point. Fast forward to surgery day. I checked in at the front desk and was told that I needed to pay my estimated charges prior to me going back for surgery. I woke up from surgery still a little groggy from the anesthesia. I vaguely recall someone saying they took a tissue sample of my gum while I was unconscious. A month later I received a $450 bill for the tissue sample extraction and biopsy medical procedure (out of network) that I never agreed to. Is this even legal??

My wait time in the waiting room was one hour no exaggeration and that's what's an appointment I see people coming in after me that got seen before me When I left, I called back a few days later to verify the work that I was getting done so I can mentally prepare and was told that I was getting something done that was different for what I was told on day one So I waited a few days and called back and then was told something different again before I hung up. I asked her to verify what the doctor said, which was the original work that I was told. At that point, I didn't understand why you were communicating with me telling me information that wasn't true. Another point worth mentioning, they were transparent about pricing from the beginning. I find many dental offices get a bit cagey when you ask what the cost is, but, if you're paying out of pocket that's obviously helpful to know! It didn't last long and was not painful at all. Well just a little bit with the flossing. But I think I handled it well. Lastly, Rochelle very kindly printed out my whole history of appointments with all costs listed since my first consultation about getting my upper implants.
