He sprays hand sanitizer on everything! Seriously! And it has nothing to do with the show, I think he's a germa-phobe. This Jersey shore guy introduces him, with black gloves and sunglasses like a moron announcing onto a microphone...then DC didn't come on for another 10 mins. The effects are largely the same and dated. The animatronic yoda doll and weird father/son story is the weirdest thing. Seriously. Creepy, mumbley, cringey. Aside from his glory days being behind him, his POLITICAL commentary is awkward and misplaced. You can barely understand what he is saying AND he has his script written on the floor. I thought this would be an easy show to count on but it's the worst one I've seen in Vegas -- and I've been to see Mac King! (kidding) Anyway, there isn't a chance I'd ever see this again and I implore you to find any other show.

Got a perfect table in the middle and really enjoyed this show! David Copperfield still GOT IT and there's an awesome surprise at the end of the show which will definitely put a smile on your face!

We came yesterday (Thursday) with friends who received free tickets to this show. I'm really disappointed. I now understand why the tickets were free. The energy level of the cast and crew were something I was expecting from David Copperfield. The storyline about his father lacked sincerity. The alien character seemed juvenile. His audience engagement with those whom English isn't their first language was borderline mean. The illusions with the car & UFO were really cool, hence the 2 stars. I'm sure Mr. Copperfield is lovely in person. He just seems to not want to be bothered with entertaining others anymore. I won't be recommending this show to anyone.

I've watched David Copperfield's show twice, many years apart. David's a legend and I enjoyed his shows each time. The show is good for all ages and it's fun how he involves the crowd. Recording isn't allowed during the show so you're expected to put your phones away. Reserving seats through the MGM app was easy and the check in and security process was simple. The setting is pretty laid back. Some people are dressed casually and some are dressed up. It's flexible. Seating is generally around tables. The tables in our section each had 6 seats.

Great show, I originally went just to make my wife happy but actually enjoyed it more the her. I would definitely recommend this venue if you haven't seen it before and even if you did see it again. I will!

David Copperfield is very famous, but the show was quite disappointing. There were too many family stories and not enough real magic. The gap between the hype and the reality was noticeable. Compared to other shows in Las Vegas, it was just okay. Many people probably attend just to see him in person, but for us , once was enough.

The show was good but David didn't seem "all-in" during the show, he looked and sounded bored.

I met David Copperfield many years ago when I worked at a movie theater. He was very nice, humble, kind, and smiled. I have wanted to see his show ever since and I am glad I did. There were moments that I cannot describe to you because they were unbelievable even though I saw them with my own eyes. The show is based around a dream, which works so well, because so much of the show blows my mind. There were many participants from the audience. David took the time to elbow bump many and said hello to many more. The audience was silent throughout most of the show. That is a rarity in Vegas. We tend to talk to each other, point things out to one another, etc. This audience was captivated from start to finish. I highly recommend the show. It's one you shouldn't miss.

Is it possible to get a refund for this show?

    No.

How is the view from the very back row?

It's good. (That's where we sat). The theatre is not super large so you can still see everything.

Where to park ?and is it free?

We did not have a car, but there is usually parking near the hotel. No, it is not free. You can buy tickets through Vegas.com

I went to see the show and at the end was a sign that said "show pictures" are those pictures with David extra or they come with the ticket?

I'm pretty sure it's extra as part of the VIP Package

I just want to know who received the email he mentioned at the very beginning of the show? I checked my email multiple times when I went back hotel but I received nothing. So disappointed.

We got an email, with a stupid link to a website that can be changed at any given time. That's why he said not to go there during the show, because it wasn't set up...they needed to put the facts on quickly after the show. It was badly badly… Read more

One of my favorites was with the cards at our seats. I'm fairly certain I did everything of my own volition in my seat all the way back towards the exit so I was as shocked as everybody around me when the trick worked. I wasn't sure what to make of Shin Lim's way of speaking but his delivery was perfect for his sense of humor. Shin navigates each situation with self-deprecating and effortless retorts without sounding rehearsed. One of my favorite comments was a quiet "that's why we're here" when a participant back turned to the audience after asking if what she was doing was for the trick. The show is located in Palazzo, a short walk if one accidentally shuttles to the Venetian, but it would be better if you just go straight to the Palazzo. A fantastic show with fantastic sleight of hand. Would watch again!

Before the show someone from the back comes out and picks certain people who will be called on during the show. For Stuart McLeod, a very funny guy but a definitely scripted performance with the audience members he picks on. A staff member came out and talked to two people sitting behind us and we listened very closely as they were told that they would be chosen, the question they are going to be asked and what their response should be. Stuart throws two frisbees out to the audience and it's supposed to be random however, two kids were picked. One boy caught the frisbee and Stuart asked him to give it to the girl behind him which he did. Then Stuart asked her to pick a number between 25 and 100 and told her NOT to pick 67 but of course she did which went along with the number writing skit he did. Obviously it was not random but staged for the trick to work. Shin Lim, WOW!!! He had practiced long and hard to perfect his craft and he is amazing. Many tricks are easy to figure out as you can see how it comes to fruition. Tables are used through his act and most have a hidden area for him to grab things from underneath. Even though you can see his sleight of hand preparing to make the illusion happen, he is an amazing magician. Some tricks will leave you stunned and the audience members he picks I did not see them being prepped before the show so I believe they were unknown and saw the magic close up. Shin Lim is an amazing magician as I said and it's no wonder why he won AGT twice, FISM and is now in Vegas. He is a Vegas show worth going to and more than once, just a very cool experience. His wife is a part of the show, she does magic tricks as well which shows how talented she is as well as a trapeze ring act. She was really good and I only wish she would have been performed a little longer. Shin Lim had Mackenzie Sol who was in the top 24 of American Idol come out and sign some during his magic acts, Magic to Music. Mackenzie is a very good singer and it gelled well with the show. I would go see the show again as it was very entertaining. It started on time unlike most other Vegas shows and was an amazing 90 minute show worth seeing. I highly recommend this show. Yes you can figure out some of the magic being done if you watch closely, but the amount of prep and practice that Shin Lim has had to endure to perfect his craft, he is worth supporting. A very entertaining show! Go see Shin Lim and support him, he is one of the best shows I've seen recently.

They've been doing this show at the Rio for 25 years now and have been magicians for 50 years. It's quite a legacy. A majority of the acts require a long set up of Penn explaining things and doing a bit of comedy. Almost every single act involves some sort of audience participation which is pretty cool. What Penn says is that they are magicians who don't do illusions so their whole value proposition is generally old school, classic magic involving a deck of cards. Their act is absolutely superb and will leave you guessing how they even pull off their magic. The only thing I found really odd is that they had asked for specifically a child participant for one of their acts but as the show went on, a bunch of the language used was definitely not family friendly.
