We were super excited knowing what we had watched before, so was excited to see their reaction to it, too. The venue itself is amazing. It's a circus tent right outside of Cesear's palace. You walk in and are greeted with the funniest, kindest people ready to move you to your seats. Your server comes over quickly to ensure that any drinks are flowing! The chairs in the establishment are hilarious and just basic chairs with some designs on them. The venue itself quickly filled up and the show started. It was funny, sexy, raunchy, and jaw-dropping. Half of the show I kept looking at our friends making sure they were having a great time and, to no surprise, they were. The circus acts are unbelievable and the comedic relief dabbled in makes it even more of an experience. This is, by far, one of the best shows I've seen in Vegas! Highly recommend.

It's a collection of jaw-dropping circus acts, comedy, and "how is this even happening right now?" moments stitched together with a very loose thread. It's wild, a little raunchy, super impressive, and totally committed to its own chaos. The performers are insanely talented, and the energy in the room makes it feel like you're part of the show even when you're just sitting there trying to process what you just saw. Definitely not your typical Vegas production - but that's exactly why it works! Go in blind, lean into it, and just let it be weird.

I got selected for audience participation, which was sort of my nightmare, but it was fine in the end. The clowning was fun and didn't feel mean-spirited. Just a heads up - don't sit on the aisle if that's going to be tough for you. We really liked the combination of acrobatics, physical comedy, practical effects, and the amazing display of technology. It was truly a spectacle. The seats were comfy, the theater was gorgeous, and we really liked their signature frozen drink, the "O!" with rum. It was delightful. I had a tough time with the line - it wasn't well organized and didn't move very quickly. The line has you queuing up in the middle of the casino floor, sort of a classic recipe for overstimulation if you arrive any early than your show time.

Wow? Yes. Vegas? Naturally. Spectacular? Often enough…read more WOW - The Vegas Spectacular is a variety show that has been anchoring the Rio Showroom theater for almost a decade. I've been a Rio Rewards member recently, and their 2nd tier and above grant you free annual show tickets. I decided this year to try WOW. You probably wanna save the incentive until the day-of, printing it out from the kiosk then directly taking it to the box office. Then you can pick your seats. The tier of seating available to me was the same as the Pepto-Bismol colored section on the chart visible online when you try to make a purchase. These appear to have a retail value of $86.32 each w/ fees. You can get in pretty easily with your tickets, but you can't bring all that much stuff in. They do have a table where you can leave stuff and pick it up afterward though. They also seem to compensate for disallowing water bottles by setting up free cups of ice water at the bar inside the venue for anyone to take. The show is not Cirque-level, but it's got quite a few exciting acts dispersed over the 1.5-ish hours. And when they set up shop on the protruding circle of the stage, it feels really, really close to the seats. For specific highlights, Silvia Silvia, the crossbow-wielding grandma, does feel world-class. So do most if not all of the acrobats. The main character / "clown" does a solid enough job with interstitials and comic relief overall. Some of the comic stuff and juggling is not all that exciting, and the dancing feels a little tame and sometimes totally unnecessary (not even as a delaying tactic). It'd be nice if they could add a little more intensity in the middle third (before Silvia Silvia), as well as more examples of showing off words and graphics in the falling water. Production-wise, they could certainly make improvements. I'll excuse the old screens/videos, but they don't seem to have heard of surround sound. Instead, the speakers blast at you from one direction, mainly into my right ear from where I was sitting. If they improve the sound, and maybe fade some of the music instead of abruptly halting them before moving to the next track, the show would feel more polished and maybe only half a tier behind the big shows rather than a whole level. Overall, WOW is a good but not great show, better at least than tired old Blue Man Group and maybe some really random stuff at the cheapest Strip properties. You could probably do quite better if spending actual cash, but Rio Rewards regulars should have this show on their checklist.

The simulators are incredibly immersive, the venue has a great energy, and the staff is friendly and helpful from the moment you walk in. Whether you're a Formula 1 fan or have never watched a race, it's easy to jump in and have a great time. It's perfect for a date night, friends' night out, or when you have guests in town and want to show them something different than the typical Las Vegas attractions. I've already recommended it to friends and will definitely be back. It's a fantastic addition to Las Vegas!

They checked our IDs, tickets, and bags while in line (super efficient) and then wanded us down when heading through the door. You enter into a lounge sort of area with a large bar. There are a good amount of seats (and plenty of poles) around the lounge area. We each got a drink and I got gummy bears! The drinks are of course themed with Star Wars and I thought they were very good. Once the intermission hit, we got another drink and some water (option between Dasani and Fiji which I was so grateful for because I hate Dasani). We got the premium tickets, so we were in the 3rd row and to the right side. Once the show got going, we were all having a blast! The host had our energy uuuuup the entire time! From the moment that taun taun steps on stage, you are having an amazingly fun, wild ride. The music went with each little skit so perfectly. The costumes were amazing. The props and creatures, dude! And the dancers? Killed it!! We were laughing, screaming, singing, cheering, this was such a fun time. I was so surprised when we got a Han Solo dancer! I asked her politely "excuse me, I have a question" I said then the blond haired lady turned to me in a stir voice and a finger up to me and said "I am not ready for your question yet" this even surprised the lady she was training and all i could say was "what the fuck" and the lady in the brown dark hair looked so surprised and even apologized to me as I looked at them with confusion. It is located in the Horseshoe Casino at the Laugh Factory. This is on the 2nd floor near the poker room, which is on the side of the main casino closer to the Strip. However, the box office is a shared box office for all shows and is back along the main floor of the casino. Actually, it is on the slightly elevated level near hotel registration. If you need to redeem some sort of tier reward for free show tickets, you'll wanna go there first. You'll also want to give yourself plenty of time in case of issues that may arise so that you don't get in a little late like I did. Since we were a bit tardy, we kinda had to dig our way through curtains that had been closed already, then get help from an usher to find our seats. We ended up at one of the tables in the front-most part of general admission, and they weren't too bad aside from tall dudes semi-blocking in front of us. The premium section feels like a decent upgrade for out-of-pocket customers. I don't think we missed that much. Frederic was in the middle of some stuff with some volunteers from the audience on stage, which we saw most or all of the endings of. On that note, he kept having different people come up (mostly selected by frisbees or balls) throughout the 70-ish minute show to demonstrate that there's no way he has that many audience plants. He also states that he doesn't pre-arrange anything anyway. The show is comprised of quite a few mind-reading / prediction tricks, and a little sleight of hand in a so-called "intermission" (not a real break). Many of these effects are familiar to fans of magic/mentalism, but they still feel fresh since it's just plain cool to see them in person. Frederic himself also is charming, funny, off-the-cuff, and just an all-around good entertainer. His pacing is also great, with no real lulls. On top of that, the musical motifs are well-timed and not too obtrusive, and the sound volume and clarity are great. We didn't stay for the free meet-and-greet, but he was available for it tonight. Paranormal is simply a great show for fans of mentalism. It's lasted 13 years, reportedly, and that's gotta be because it's just a polished show that's appealing to all ages and audiences. Check it out if you have the chance!

I knew going in that a Michael Jackson show was going to be entertaining, but I honestly wasn't prepared for what we experienced with Michael Jackson ONE in Las Vegas. This isn't just a concert, and it isn't just a Cirque du Soleil show. It's a full-on sensory experience that combines Michael Jackson's music, incredible choreography, acrobatics, special effects, lighting, video, and some seriously talented performers. And let me tell you... the energy in this theater is absolutely off the charts! The show takes you through some of Michael's biggest hits, and hearing those songs performed while watching the choreography and production happening all around you is something completely different from simply listening to the music. The performers were phenomenal. The dancing, acrobatics, costumes, and athleticism were incredible, and there were moments where I honestly found myself wondering, "How in the world did they just do that?" And the production itself? Las Vegas at its best. The lights, screens, sound, effects, and stage design all work together to create something that feels much bigger than a traditional theater show. There is always something happening, and the show moves at a pace that keeps you completely engaged. My wife and I were in Vegas celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary, and this was definitely one of those experiences that we'll be talking about for a long time. If you're a Michael Jackson fan, I think you'll absolutely love this show. But even if you're not the biggest MJ fan in the world, the production value and talent alone make this worth experiencing. As a fan of Michael Jackson's music, I loved hearing the songs and being reminded of the incredible creative genius behind his music and dance. The soundtrack definitely brought back some great memories. Unfortunately, the show itself didn't quite live up to the hype. The dancing was energetic, but I wouldn't call it extraordinary. Apparently, there was a storyline involving four young Michael Jackson fans. Apparently. I completely missed it. Some of the choreography felt pretty standard and, at times, a little repetitive. And considering this is "Cirque du Soleil", I went in expecting some serious "How in the world are they doing that?" acrobatics. There were some impressive moments, but not nearly as much as I expected. I wanted more Cirque and less dance concert. There were also times when so much was happening on stage--lights, video, dancers, music, costumes--that it felt less like "Wow!" and more like sensory overload. And then there was the volume. OUCH! This show was LOUD. Not excitingly loud. More like "Did someone accidentally turn the speakers up to 11?" loud. Painfully loud. For the price of the tickets, I expected to walk out thinking, "Wow, that was amazing!" Instead, I walked out thinking, "Well...at least the music was great." If you're a huge Michael Jackson fan, you'll probably enjoy the nostalgia and hearing those iconic songs. But if you're choosing among the many Vegas shows, I'd spend the ticket money elsewhere.

But...."Marriage Can Be Murder" was positively my favorite. The host, Birdie, was exceptional. She was so funny (very quick witted). She definitely had everyone's attention throughout the show. The entire cast was great. They all made it so much fun. Lots of laughs. I've been talking about it since that night.
