Went to see Absinthe with one of my closest friends, and honestly, this might be one of the most fun nights I have had in Vegas. From the second it starts, it feels like organized chaos in the best possible way. The crowd work is absolutely ruthless but also hilarious. You spend half the time laughing and the other half quietly hoping you do not make eye contact. Somehow, they walk that perfect line where it is edgy without being awkward. The side acts are insane. Like, how is this even physically possible level talent. Every time you think it cannot get crazier, it does. It is part circus, part comedy show, part did I just witness that moment. And the Gazillionaire is the perfect ringmaster for it all, completely unhinged in the most controlled way possible. He keeps everything moving, keeps the crowd on edge, and somehow makes chaos feel like it is exactly on schedule. Going with a close friend made it even better. There is something about sharing those did that really just happen looks the whole night that makes it stick. If you are in Vegas and want something that is actually memorable and not just expensive for no reason, this is it. Easily one of the best shows on the Strip. read more

It was super raunchy with dirty humor, but my friends and I had a blast and were laughing so hard during the Gazillionaire's roast of the audience and his assistant's wild story telling. There's amazing acrobatic performances and the hour and a half flew by fast. I loved the intimate tent setting and no seat is a bad seat. The chairs are, however, uncomfortable and seated very closely together. There are bar waitresses who walk around and can also take your drink order, but we had already bought drinks from the outside bar to bring inside. We were in Vegas to see the Eagles at the Sphere and decided to shake things up by staying on the Strip instead of our usual downtown spot. With very few plans beyond the concert, we figured we'd simply wander, people-watch, and let the city surprise us. Surprise it did. Several friends had raved about Absinthe, and then--fate being fate--we ran into a couple we knew who were very insistent that we go. So, on a whim, I walked straight up to the box office outside Caesars Palace and bought two tickets. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, especially when explaining the participation aspect of the show (important intel, as my wife had zero interest in becoming part of the act). Before the show even begins, the experience is already working its magic. The courtyard outside the tent is lively and electric, glowing beautifully as night falls. We attended the 7 p.m. show, which conveniently comes with a happy hour beforehand--and if you know anything about Vegas, you know you never pass up a good price break. Once inside the tent, the atmosphere is wildly eclectic and instantly captivating. It feels like the circus tent of your imagination--what it would be if it never had to pack up and move on (thankfully without the large-animal side effects). Intimate, lavish, and slightly unhinged in the best possible way. As for the show itself... I won't spoil the details. I'll just say it's hilarious, sexy, jaw-dropping, and endlessly entertaining. I've wanted to see this show for a very, very long time but for some reason or another, I just never got around to it. When I was first hyped for it (watching Holly Madison's reality show), I didn't live in Vegas yet, so when I moved here I planned to go, but like most locals, I try to avoid the Strip. Well, it was worth the wait. The show is fun and entertaining and there were parts where I was laughing so hard, I thought I'd need my inhaler. While you may have seen some of the circus acts on tv or in other shows, this show does all of that stuff up close and personal, so the risk feels even more intense. With that being said, the chairs are jam packed tight in here and it was quite uncomfortable to be sitting there for an hour and a half. The best part of this show was the Gazillionaire and Wanda. Wanda was raunchy and crazy and I love her. So freaking funny. This is a good show and a great way to spend an evening on the Las Vegas Strip. read more

Best show ever ! The cast and the crew were phenomenal!! It was a great mixture of acts from, comedians to juggling acts, it was THE BEST! So much funny sh*€. This show is expensive at about $251 per person but it's worth it. However every seat is a good seat, you will be able to see everything due to an elevated stage and so many tricks up in the air. My favorite was the comedian and his assistant named Wendy, I think... they were soooo freakin FUNNY! All of the acts were outstanding, including the pole dance. WOW!! What a unique and extremely entertaining show! I've seen many shows in Vegas and while they've all been great, I can honestly say this show is different than the rest. One could say it is the most "Vegas" show on the strip. What does that mean? Well, it's very adult for one. While there isn't nudity per se, there's a moment where it comes VERY close. There is also very foul and sexual language throughout so maybe don't bring children (not sure if you're allowed to anyway). That being said, there are some amazing acrobatics and talent in this show that come close to, if not surpass, Cirque de Sole. Also, they like to interact with the audience, especially in the first couple of rows so if you don't wanna be called n, don't get those seats. Speaking of seats, this show is done in a kind of circus tent and the seats (and stage) are all in a circle so there really isn't any bad seats as it's not that big of a space. Happy 2026! As a local I don't venture too much to The Strip, however, it's always nice to try new things. I've heard of this show many times but really had no idea what it was about nor did I want to spoil it by knowing too much. Outside of Caesar's across from Hell's Kitchen is this cool looking tent where this show is played. We sat in section 3 row F and were super happy with our seats but we also think you could get a great experience from all angles since it's a cozy space. Without giving too much detail just know you're in for a lot of laughs, some dirty talk, and amazing acts! My group was extremely happy with the show and we would love to come back! Side note: there's drinks available before you enter the venue as well as inside. also during the show I've noticed they come around frequently if you ever wanted to order something at your seat. It was one of the best show in vegas in my opinion 15 years ago when we first watched it and still is after watching it today. It was slightly have different acts from then & now but surely is still good as before. The venue is very intimate, no bad seat wherever you're sitting. We actually have three tickets but one was separated, Emmilia was able to moved us so we can be seated all together. They serve drinks during the show. They have servers that walks around to take your drink order for your convenience. They also interact with the audience which makes it really fun! We had a fun time here at this bawdy and raunchy burlesque and vaudeville show. Depending on your age, you will remember some of the acts from a few years/decades back but is now upgraded to today's sense of humor. Some people might be offended but most will laugh til they cry. If you are prudish, then you may want to skip this show. There are ladies on poles for the men and scantily clothed men for the ladies in the audience. The acrobatics are amazing! If you are hungry before the show or after, then you should try No Pants restaurant in the attached Green Fairy Garden in the front of Caesars Palace. They claim that they have the best burgers on the Strip. I thought so. The garden area is a nice place to dine at with a great view of Caesars Palace and The Tree in the Garden. "Absinthe" recently celebrated its 12 anniversary at Caesars Palace, and remains the must-do show in Las Vegas. Best show in Vegas! Admittedly, I've only seen a dozen or so other shows and mostly Cirque du Soleil, but Absinthe has everything you could want in a show! It's a raunchy comedy with a slight burlesque feel and has incredible acrobatic acts, while taking place on a small stage in a carnival tent. I'm embarrassed that as Vegas locals we just saw Absinthe for the first time last night. This show is PHENOMENAL! The comedic dialogue had our stomachs hurting from the constant laughter, the variety of talented performers had us in complete awe, and the raunchiness made it feel like the old "Sin City" that Vegas was once notorious for being. Service was also impeccable; every person that worked at Absinthe was so friendly & bubbly. There are two bars located in the courtyard outside as well as a bar inside the tent. Once inside, there are waitresses walking around to take your order & bring drinks. People have brought up that the seating is uncomfortable, which is absolutely true. The seats are hard and super duper close together, but once the show started, we were so intrigued that we weren't even focused on the uncomfortable seats. There are also no restrooms on-site, so make sure you use the facilities near Hell's Kitchen or inside Caesar's Palace before heading into the garden area for Absinthe. Of all the shows I've seen in Vegas and other cities, I think Absinthe is hands down my favorite one. We were genuinely sad when it ended; we could've easily enjoyed another 30-45 minutes of this variety act. I will make one small complaint though; we were sat in Section 1, Row K, Seats 31 & 32, while we loved the extra legroom in this row and we had a terrific view of the entire tent, there was a lighting rig hanging from the ceiling that did unfortunately impede our view for some of the performances that took place up high in the center of the ring. Not a big deal, but had we known we would've chosen the seats to the left of ours for a perfectly clear view. Note: Although we absolutely adored Absinthe, we did see an older couple angrily leave during one of the raunchier dialogues. If swear words, sexual references, and very near nudity offend you, this is definitely not the show for you. If you're someone who enjoys endless laughs, amazing acrobatic performances, and are not easily offended then definitely go enjoy an evening at Absinthe; you won't regret it! read more

Hubby won a charity auction for a VIP Gazillionaire package to Absinthe, and this is my review. For something that usually costs over a grand, I was a little disappointed in what was advertised versus what we got. Our package included: round trip VIP transport to and from the venue, a drive down the Strip, a "dedicated cocktail server" with open bar for the duration of the show, and VIP table seating. We got a fraction of that. First, we were supposed to be picked up in a Rolls Royce. Didn't happen. They sent a plain white SUV that led to a bunch of communication errors (and resulted in us arriving about 30 minutes later than we had wanted to be at the venue). Strike one. The driver was awesome and accommodating, but what a letdown from the start. We were driven directly to the venue where a hidden "door" opened up from a hedge. As soon as we got out, we were handed a glass of (bad) sparkling wine and taken through VIP red ropes to the speakeasy out back. OMG the speakeasy is amazing! We were told we could order anything and everything on the drink menu, and that it was "on the house." We took that as a personal challenge, LOL! We had a reserved couch area in the Speakeasy courtyard, and I wish I could've spent hours here! But since there was all that confusion with our driver, we unfortunately had to rush. We had room to down one cocktail quickly (and it was amazing), then it was time to move into the adjacent tent for the show. This "dedicated cocktail server" was a complete load of bull. We had different servers come by all night. They were frequent, but that's far from having our own server who knew our wants and needs. I opted to stick to champagne after feeling super tipsy from my first cocktail, but hubby went all out and tried several different drinks. Let me warn you: these drinks are small, but STRONG. We are pretty tough and can drink a lot, but my god, after two cocktails, we were literally nearly falling down drunk. You have been warned. Our table was fantastic. Elevated and right in the center, I couldn't have asked for a better view or seat. The chairs were comfy enough and we had tons of room. The standard seating looked miserably uncomfortable and cramped. The table location made the VIP really feel worth it. The show was weird. Standard Cirque acrobat type stuff: people doing balancing acts, sword swallowing, roller skating, etc. It gets super repetitive. The best part about the show was the M.C. the Gazillionaire and his randy sidekick Wanda, and their schtick was insulting audience members. They weren't mean-spirited at all, and it was mildly amusing. My advice is: the more you drink, the more you'll enjoy the show. A lot of it reminded me of the old "Opium" show at Cosmo. If you saw that, then you'll get the vibe. The show is too short at 80 minutes, and afterward we were shuffled back out into the courtyard. It would've been nice to have been able to hang another hour or so at the speakeasy, but our driver was waiting and we had 15 minutes to get to the car or miss our ride. I'm glad we didn't pay $1,200 for the VIP package because, frankly, it's not even close to worth it. Closing observation: the show has a reputation of being super dirty, but we didn't find it dirty at all. There wasn't even any nudity, and only a few cuss words. I seriously don't get why Absinthe has a reputation for being so "'raunchy." I don't even think my grandma would've been offended by this show. read more

Walked with my nonagenarian FIL to check on tickets prices. He wanted to keep playing Blackjack, so I walked him back to the Casino, but I wanted to see a show so.... I bought tickets for a show that was something completely different. Make way for the risqué. Cirque du burlesque. Bearded ladies swinging overhead. Men in suits, then not in suits balancing in their briefs. Don't sit in the front row unless you want to be part of the show. You may get a lap dance for a milestone birthday from other patrons who got voluntold to join the circus acts for a bottle of bubbly. From jugglers juggling rolls of TP and open water bottles to strong men flexing their 12 packs to ladies balancing on poles in lingerie, it is a wild show. I got a ticket at the back of the show, but got a free upgrade to sit in the midst of the chaos three chairs from the stage. So much fun, but honesty, I'm sort of glad my FIL went back to the casino!! Come with an open mind. read more

I would describe Absinthe as a dirty variety show taking place in the most amazing circus tent you've ever seen. I've now seen it four times. Each time, it's a little different, as acts rotate in and out. And those acts dictate the strength of the show. I would say the current iteration is the weakest I've seen. Some of the acts feel a bit redundant. The finale feels not quite worthy. But there's still a ton of amazing stuff here, and it's even more amazing to see it so up close and personal. The dirty humor remains dirty and funny, though less impactful when you've seen it multiple times. I actually think Mad Apple has snatched the crown for best variety show in Vegas, even though Absinthe is hipper. I should also mention that the new Green Fairy Garden is a tremendously cool addition to the area. Even at its weakest, Absinthe is still a show I'd happily see any time I come to Vegas. read more

After eating at Hell's Kitchen we walked over to grab our seats for the Absinthe show. When you walk in it's a circus tent with a high ceiling and chairs all over in a circular formation. Since the stage is circular pretty much every seat in the venue is a good seat because you see everything and the performers do a great job of making themselves be seen. The hosts were hilarious with raunchy adult humor which we loved. Some of the acts were sexy, fun, hilarious, dazzling, and just pure entertainment. We didn't purchase the best seat, but right before the show started we got moved to the front row. WARNING: This is a good and bad thing. While you definitely have the best seat for the performance, you're 100% at risk for getting roasted and becoming part of the show. If that's not your thing don't sit in the first few rows! What a fun show!! At first glance, you see a very small stage and wonder what can they possibly do in that little stage? Then you see all the amazing things. You really feel so close and intimate at this show and no seat in the house is bad, seriously. If you want to be included in some of the act, then spot in the first two rows. Out of the three circus shows I watched during this trip, this one was by far my favorite, and I would absolutely come back to see it again! Atmosphere & Seating What sets this show apart is that it feels less touristy than the others. The performance takes place in its own tent, which really adds to the classic circus atmosphere--a detail I really appreciated. Now, the seating situation is a little tricky. If you want a full-stage view, you'll end up on high stool chairs, which aren't the most comfortable but are manageable. The higher-priced seats do come with a risk: if the person in front of you is tall--or, in my case, wearing a big cowboy hat--it could block your view. For interaction with the performers, though, sitting close to the front is the best option. Performance & Storyline The storyline was the easiest to follow out of all three shows I saw, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The performers were incredibly professional and talented, delivering an intense and seamless performance that left a strong impression on me--some moments are still stuck in my head! There were also talk show-style segments that slowed things down a bit, but the performers were so captivating that even those moments were memorable. That said, this show is definitely not kid-friendly--some of the jokes and themes are adult-oriented and go pretty deep. They had a great variety of acts, including trapeze, hammock, slackers, bikes, and more--every act brought something special. Drinks & Extras One downside was the drink price--nearly $30 for a glass of wine, and $100 for a bottle, which I skipped. However, it was cool that they offer a free drink after the show. The only catch is, you have to walk about 10 minutes outside to redeem it, and since we were on a tight schedule, we had to skip it. I do wish they allowed you to redeem it inside the tent before the show instead. Final Thoughts This was hands down the best circus show of my trip. I went into this show knowing it would be super raunchy, but some of the jokes were a bit cruder than I expected--definitely not something to watch with your parents, lol. That said, we loved the variety of talented acts. It's like a sexy Cirque du Soleil, but far more intriguing. The MC and his assistant kept the audience entertained between acts while the stage was being set up. Here's a tip: sitting in the front row might not be the best idea. During one segment, a couple was pulled on stage for a lap dance, and the wife's visibly annoyed reaction was absolutely hilarious. Also, there's a chance of getting wet if you're seated up front. They do provide a large plastic cover, but trying to stay dry can distract you from fully enjoying the show. The venue itself is a cozy tent, and we sat in the second-to-last row. Despite the tight seating--elbow-to-elbow with our neighbors--we had a great view of everything (yes, including the surprise appearance of a certain appendage on stage). We chose the 5 PM Saturday show in November to save a few bucks since tickets are pricey. After the show, we had a delicious dinner at No Pants in the Green Fairy Garden just outside, which rounded out a fun and memorable evening. read more

I was kind of disappointed...I'm not sure what I expected.....honestly, with the whole "green fairy" bit, I thought it would be more Moulin Rouge themed or at least have way more burlesque....this show has zero storyline. It's just a variety show that hops around all over the place with sex jokes in between acrobatics. If you sit in the front row -- prepare to be roasted. The acrobatics were cool...But, I've seen better shows around the strip for less on the price tag...that being said, still a fun experience...Once was definitely enough though. The tickets are around $130 and you can add on a no pants burger for $20. The tent is nice and temperature controlled. WOW!! I can't believe I'm a local and I've never gone to see this show! Highly recommended. Our nephew and his wife were in town so we bought tickets a week prior. No seat is a bad seat! It was raining so we were not able to enjoy the outside bar and food area, but that was fine. Small circus tent like theme. Cocktail servers were on point! Came every few minutes to check on us and drinks got to us super fast. The show was filled with adult humor, talented sexy performers. My face hurt from laughing so much! We had the best seats in the house as we watched from the rear side exit where all the acts came in and out. There honeslty isn't a bad seat in the circus tent. I love how we can view our seats on their website before we buy them. My friend who's birthday it was works at a theatre and enjoys the behind the scenes experience. We watched the light and sound booth workers do their thing, I adored their rubber duckie and hotwheels decor. The dirty puns and intimate atmosphere make it stand out from other shows in town, there's a vague story line but who cares it's a 90 minute show that encourages you to drink, the more you drink the better it gets. The center stage is small but the performers use the entire space. This show broke my childhood memory of enjoying the movie "singing in the rain". I had seen this show almost 15 years ago before it was open to the public. I missed the roller skaters and rope walker but all the acts were still amazing. read more
