This was an awesome show! Even if you aren't a Star Wars fan, this is a great show. The music and characters are very entertaining. The space is located in the RIO and they have a bar/snack station when you walk in. All of the drinks are related to the Star Wars theme. They ranged from $20-$25 per drink and they were well made and tasty. The bar staff is awesome. The show itself is just great! All of the dancers and host are hilarious. Our large group had such a fantastic time. Would highly recommend. The tickets were super affordable and well worth it. The costumes were incredible. This is a terrific burlesque show that stays with the theme throughout. They do a great job with security when you enter. There are bathrooms inside the venue too. If you are looking for great entertainment, get your tickets! Such a fun evening. read more

This show was hilarious. The mc was "Eric" , Lando Calrissian's dorky nephew, who cracked some funny jokes inbetween acts. Like "Wokierotica". The Jabba the Hut act danced to Notorious BIG was the funniest, as was Han Solo and Chewbacca's routine. There's zero nudity, but very good professional dancers. It's more like a combo of modern dance and hip hop dance, with Star Wars costumes. Anyways, very entertaining and funny, especially for Star Wars fans. read more

Wow! Is all I can say! The show is great I had always seen advertising where we lived so happy we got to see this show here! Performance were so great would definitely recommend this show to every starwars fans. My mother in law got shot with a free shirt lol and then someone got a free sponge. The cast was great. They do not allow any outside food or any hydros they will ask you to leave it outside. The guy at the bar was great! He got out orders in a timely manner. There is food and drinks inside minimum starting at $6 cant bring outside food. Seating is very close, it doesn't matter where you sit it will be a great view. If you want to bw noticed sit closer we had premium which was in the middle and they were perfect! MINUS STARS Getting to this area through the hotel was horrendous tho! The staff that work the actual Rio hotel SUCK SO BAD had a Caucasian woman with blond fried hair, at the check in counter with shoulder length hair and green square glasses. I had seen she looked to be traning or showing another woman with dark brown hair something on the computer. I asked her politely "excuse me, I have a question" I said then the blond haired lady turned to me in a stir voice and a finger up to me and said "I am not ready for your question yet" this even surprised the lady she was training and all i could say was "what the fuck" and the lady in the brown dark hair looked so surprised and even apologized to me as I looked at them with confusion. Like who talks to guest like thay in a hotel. That is the reason for the minus stars. She was so rude and entitled. I was just going to ask for directions to see this show, I was so missed I did not even take a picture of her, wish I did. But she was there at the front by the check in counter at about 740-8pm. I think this show should be somewhere eles because the staff here at the RIO is horrible. read more

OMG we had soooo much fuuuun! I booked this for my husband's bday and made a night of it with dinner and drinks beforehand. The theater is upstairs and we arrived to the line around 9pm for our Saturday 9:30pm show. They checked our IDs, tickets, and bags while in line (super efficient) and then wanded us down when heading through the door. You enter into a lounge sort of area with a large bar. There are a good amount of seats (and plenty of poles) around the lounge area. We each got a drink and I got gummy bears! The drinks are of course themed with Star Wars and I thought they were very good. Once the intermission hit, we got another drink and some water (option between Dasani and Fiji which I was so grateful for because I hate Dasani). We got the premium tickets, so we were in the 3rd row and to the right side. Once the show got going, we were all having a blast! The host had our energy uuuuup the entire time! From the moment that taun taun steps on stage, you are having an amazingly fun, wild ride. The music went with each little skit so perfectly. The costumes were amazing. The props and creatures, dude! And the dancers? Killed it!! We were laughing, screaming, singing, cheering, this was such a fun time. I was so surprised when we got a Han Solo dancer! If you are a Star Wars fan and are looking for a really fun and spicy night, you absolutely need to check out this show. This is definitely one that I will never forget! read more

My partner booked this adult show and we went last night to the Rio Hotel. Omg, it was amazing. The burlesque show, Star Wars parody. Super bad ass and most definitely will come back again for sure. Hands down to all the lady dancers and as well as the male dancers. All did a phenomenal job. If you get a drink they have the empire strips back, you can take with you. No phones or cameras during the show. At the end, they will let you take pics ans vid with no flash or lights on. Super cool experience. They do have merch. I got the wookie magazine, poster and tshirts. I was very impressed with the show. If you are in Vegas and you are on the fence, just book the show and go. I would most definitely recommend this show. The restrooms are super nice and big. They have tons of mirrors and seating inside. Once again, highly recommended. The dancers and the songs, the props used all amazing. read more

A MUST if you go to Vegas. This was the highlight of our Vegas trip. And it was the most inexpensive activity we did all weekend. The Empire Strips Back is a caberate parody on Star Wars; Star Wars fan or not, you'll have a freakin' great time. The music ranges from Biggie to Taylor Swift to all out 80s. Ladies are hot and talented; fun and sexy choreography. This show is located inside the NY Hotel; and there is a bar once you gain entry; there's also intermission (and restrooms). There's not a bad seat in the house, so you can spend a bit more to sit closer, but honestly, the cheap seats are great too. read more

This show is strip worthy. It didn't have that many nude parts either and if my son was 18, he would've loved it as we are all stars fans. Eric Calrissian was super funny as our host. This is a family friendly interactive comedy for adults. And I loved that there was an intermission for us to get a drink, use the restroom, or just stretch our legs. My fave was Han Solo and Chewy doing a dance routine. This was our highlight of the Rio.....they should try to go somewhere on strip for realz, like Mandalay Bay or MGM. I bet more people would watch it. read more

What surprised me most was how seriously the performers took their roles. The show is full satire, but the commitment from every actor made it even funnier, sexier, and way more entertaining than I expected. I attended with my boyfriend, and we couldn't stop laughing the entire time. We tried several of the themed cocktails (all solid and fun), soaked up the energy of the crowd, and had an absolute blast from start to finish. The whole experience felt playful, cheeky, and perfectly ridiculous in the best way. I attended as part of a Yelp Elite event, my first as an Elite member , and felt genuinely honored to be included. That said, the show absolutely stands on its own and is just a great night out. If you're a Star Wars fan, this is the show you're looking for. Cantina-level fun , grab a drink, and may the Force be with you. read more

Surprisingly fun Star Wars show. But they can't use Star Wars music except the main theme song. But the other music was great with the performances. Dancers were so much fun to look at and they did a great job! This show is on dark Monday which means not many shows are on Monday evenings. So this is a great choice of entertainment. They serve great selections of alcohol and very reasonably priced. Don't forget to check out their merch after the show! read more

This is better than I expected. The costumes and sets are fire. The dancers amazing. Although the commedian host was throwing cheesy jokes like they were frisbees, his bits lightened the mood in between dancers. For the more conservative crowd, there is no actual nudity in this show, and it doesn't need it. Just watching Leia, c3po, r2, han, and jaba doing their thing was enough. We couldn't take photos inside but i posted a few from the lobby. read more

I had been wanting to see this burlesque show ever since I heard about it several years ago when I was living in Southern California. I was super excited when I saw that it was right down the street at the Rio! Remember, this is a striptease, not a full-on nudie show. Very tastefully done. It's fun, funny, sexy and totally entertaining. All of the dancers are top notch and the show itself is well choreographed with great music. The host of the show, which was lando calrissian's cousin Eric, did a great job getting the audience hyped up for each of the individual scenes. I'm not going to give anything away, all I'm going to say is from the very first stacked till the end of the show is so well done, the costumes were on point, and the performances were top notch. It was really cool that they had a specialty cocktails for the show. And they are definitely high-powered. You will definitely want to knock back a few of those help loosen you up for the show! Bottom line? This is a great show, and one that is well we're seeing. You will have a great time. Bring a bunch of your friends cuz this thing is off chain, especially if you are a Star wars aficionado. read more

Show was very fun and if you're a Star Wars fan, I recommend checking out. We did 2 cocktails that were strong and sweet. I got the mind trick and the hairy one. The mind trick was similar to an AMF drink and hairy one had a lot of coffee flavor. The show was great with amazing dancers and cool costumes. The music went along with the characters and it was all entertaining to watch. We enjoyed the Han Solo/chewie, slave Leia, and the Emperor Palpatine dance. They were all funny and great dancing. The theater wasn't too big and there was a balcony seating as well. The chairs were too close together and it was hard getting out of our seat. I was really glad there was a 15 minute intermission to use the restroom and grab another drink. The bar area was really cool with the Star Wars ship and decorations. read more

During my time in Vegas for a conference, I wanted to fill it with shows to keep me busy. This is an affordable show compared to many of the other shows out there. My only catch was, it's not walkable from the stripe, I had to taxi to the Rio. For some reason I thought it was at the NY hotel. Looks like it used to be there and moved to the Rio. The theater is located on the 2nd floor near Smash Burger. I didn't know that you can't bring bottles into the show? Doh! They were able to watch it, kind of. Lucky me and it was there after the show ended. Seats are nice. They are movable. Now onto the show. It's so much fun!!!! The crowd really got into it, and so did I. The songs pair well with the dances. Go in and have fun. This isn't a literal interpretations of the Star Wars, it's pure fun. There is a bar and snacks that you can purchase. Unfortunately right now I have invisalign and can't eat or drink anything without taking out the trays. Boo. There is a mini gift shop. I saw a couple of shirts that I wanted to buy, but chickened out. Have a blast and enjoy the show. read more

I have seen this show advertised all summer. I was thinking it would be just okay but it was actually very sexy and funny. The production was great. They bring onto the stage pieces of the movie that I thought could not be replicated. I was very impressed with the production. The actors were very good too. Their sensual body moves and choreography keep me entertained. The host was fun too. He kept the audience hyped and excited for the next scene. The bar and lounge area was very nice and comfy to wait at until the show started. The bartenders was very nice and funny. Of course the drinks are expensive but tasty. Overall, a great show that I am recommending to all my friends. read more

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. The bar was fast and bathroom was clean and elegant. The seating area is pretty cramped though so if you are sitting in the middle and need to go to the bathroom, good luck. Other than that, the show was fantastic. Dancers were talented and some of the sets were hilarious. The show is 2 hours long with a 15 min intermission. And no, the dancers don't get full on naked. It's more of a strip tease with fun costumes and talented dance moves. It's nicely done. read more

I bought a ticket to see this show when the started their pre-sale. The showroom, on the second floor of the Masquerade Tower at the Rio, is where the Chippendales used to perform. The doors open about 7 PM and there is seating. There is a bar and merch area opensyou can buy from. At 7:30, the house opens and the ushers, each with a light sabre, shows you your seat. The show started a few minutes after 8 PM. There's a man who introduces the show and each section of it. You are warned in the beginning that there is no photography allowed except when he announces it's OK for the last number of the evening. The show is very well planned and executed. The music, dancing, the ladies, the props, and the costumes--everything is done very well! Thee evening moves along quickly. At about an hour into the show, there is a 15 minute intermission. Time to visit the bar, buy some merch, or leave some of the bar you consumed in the restrooms. All of the Star Wars characters are represented during one or more of the numbers. I was a bit left behind sometimes. I was never a bad g fan except fir R2D2 and C3. Some I knew while others were new to me. My favorite numbers were Jabba, just before intermission, and the second number right after the second half began. I don't think I've been to a show here where the energy of the crowd was so high. A lot of laughter, applause, and enjoyment. The show ended just aboiut 10PM. With its location, it's easy to park in the garage for the Masquerade Tower. You walk in the door, and the theatre is right there. I wish them a long run at the Rio. They deserve if t, and you'll leave with a smile. read more

We were in Vegas for a long weekend and knew we needed to do at least one Vegas show. We had seen so many adds and knew we had to try this spot. We walked up almost at showtime, you can only buy tickets online OR at the box office. They're the same price at both so just do it on your phone. The people at the doors were so nice and hyped us up. The bar was good - lots of fun drinks. Overpriced and super sweet, but expected at a place like this. We indulged in one. For the show, we really expected some sort of storyline and...this isn't that. We were a little confused at first but once we realized and got into it, we didn't care. Each set was different and fun, and we never knew what to expect. The host was also really fun and interactive. The dancers were awesome - some formally trained that made it an art show mixed with stripping. Mostly tasteful, but some fun Vegas feel to it. If you want full on stripping, this isn't the show for you, but with my husband and friends, it was awesome. The energy was great in the crowd, we had a blast. I'm sure there are plenty of "better" shows in the city but for the theme and the acts, this was so fun and well worth the money. read more

Empire Strips Back is one of the newest addition to the Vegas strip shows.Located inside Rio Hotel the auditorium looks kinda old, seating was basically a bunch of steel chairs lined up together which wasn't comfortable at all! Great costumes! That may have been the best part of the show. The show had no real theme/plot it was following. Basically girls dancing in Star Wars costumes. The Carbonite Han and Bounty Hunter Leia were the best of the night. However the Boba Fett number was fantastic. Lots of laughs despite it not exactly being a parody storyline. The MC Eric/Lando was super fun. He showed up with all the jokes. It was good enough entertainment. Would definitely recommend it and would probably go back to see it just not at $100 a ticket... read more

Very cute. Liked the theme. They had an MC come out in between each performance to introduce the next performer. The seating is a little snug but nothing terrible by any means. Six of us attended this show, and unfortunately all six of us chose to leave at intermission. The concept, production value, choreography, and costumes were impressive, and the dancers were talented and clearly put on a polished performance. The show itself had a lot of creative energy and visual appeal. What ultimately ruined the experience for our group was the emcee. His humor came across as unnecessarily crude, raunchy, and at times obnoxious, which detracted from the quality of the production. In addition, audience participation was heavily encouraged. While cheering and interaction can certainly enhance a live show, one audience member seated directly behind us screamed continuously throughout the performance. The volume and frequency of the screaming made it nearly impossible to enjoy what was happening on stage. It's disappointing because there was a lot to admire about the production itself, but between the emcee's style and the disruptive audience environment, our group decided not to stay for the second half. read more

Great show in Atlantic City! Afterwards, the audience was allowed access to Harrah's Pool Club area for free due to buying show tickets. Really more Empire Twerks Back than Empire Strips Back. Sensual, but kinda tame for Vegas. You see more stuff downtown on Fremont St. Props and dancing were the highlights. My friend and I are fans of Star Wars and neither of us had seen a strip show in quite some time. She got a discount on good seats, so we decided to see the show the night before our vacation ended. You go through a quick security checkpoint, scan tickets and get seated. They have small, but clean bathrooms. There is a seating area next to a fully stocked bar. I ordered a total of two cocktails and a shot. Prices of the drinks were comparable to other Vegas shows and tasted really yummy. As for the show itself, it's called a strip show. There wasn't as much actual stripping than what I recall from other strip shows, but i didn't care. The lighting, the music, the costumes and the dancing and acting were all fantastic and entertaining. The people were all beautiful and you could tell they all had prior dancing experience. The was an emcee that was hilarious and he reminds you to be respectful and not to take pictures or video until the last number of the show. It was great. I'd see it again and I highly recommend it for any Star Wars fan, or anyone who just wants to see a good and entertaining show while in Vegas. read more
