Went to see this show on a Saturday night. The show is actually in the chateau night club. It's hosted by a fabulous drag queen and its a coed burlesque dancing show with four guys and four girls. This show was definitely done tastefully. No real nudity is shown because all the dancers wear pasties to cover their nipples. But it is risqué and raunchy! I had a great time. The dancers had great routines and it was overall very entertaining. They dapple in different types of dance including Polynesian hula dancing, pole dancing, a little bit of contemporary ballet, jazz etc. The highlights of the show for me we're definitely from the women. There was a sensual dance involving a shower that was incredible and sexy! I love the pole dance. That girl was so strong and graceful she pulled her body up that pole like no other. The hostess was funny and entertaining as well. I would recommend seeing it! read more

Last night, I took my friends to see 53X. This is the second time that I came. This time I thought was even better than the first. The first time, we were not allowed to take pictures or video at the end of the show. Last night, Shangela, the host for the show allowed us to take video or photos of the last song. It was awesome!! All these beautiful, beautiful and extremely talented dancers were so friendly and we were allowed to take photos with them at the end of the show. I was entertained, I had so much fun & laughs. All my friends from California loved, loved the show. I'm so very glad I came back to see this show for the second time. If anyone wants to see beautiful, talented dancers and feel great, this is a show you must take the time to go see. You will not be disappointed. read more

First of all...53X=SEX, get it? I tried not to deduct points for the lame name, lol. OK, gotta admit, I like naked men shows. These male dancers were on the level of The Chippendales, & in my opinion that's the highest level. :-) The dancers were very approachable after the show for pics. There was even a female dancer or two who made me take my eyes off the men! This is a great show for anyone: some will be watching the women, some the men, & who knows who will be liking the drag queen. (For my taste the drag queen's jokes were very old & done a few too many times. The tourists, though, seemed to think she was hilarious, so oh well.) Excellent venue. I'd recommend this show to anyone who wants a little spice in their night. read more

The wife and I went on Saturday. The show started a little slow and 15 minutes late. But it ended being a pretty good show. Shangela was extremely entertaining as the host of the show. Favorite numbers were I love Monsters and Chef because I'm a huge Southpark fan. The dancers were very talented, even the maid! You exit into the Budweiser Beer Park. It's a huge outdoor patio with an amazing view of the strip. They have all kinds of games drunk people would enjoy like Jenga, cornhole, shuffleboard, pool. It was fun, but the people watching was a 10++. Probably due to spring break Only complaints : ridiculous drink prices Too much man butt, not enough boobs. They need to even that ratio up The chairs, were the most narrow chairs I've ever seen in my life. Probably the worst show I've seen in years. What are they thinking? Badly produced - no story, no theme - pedestrian choreography (especially for the men), nonexistent lighting design, badly built props, badly mixed sound, horrible staging. Whatever talent Shangela might have it's not evident here and, further, a drag queen host is a bad idea. Lip-syncing is a bad idea. (What are we in - a gay bar in Pittsburgh in 1977?) The talents of the performers are squandered in badly conceived skits. They are not at fault; whoever produced/directed is responsible. He shouldn't be allowed near a stage. It was embarrassing to watch. We felt for the performers. This show can't really be fixed. It needs to be entirely reconceived and rewritten. It's obvious that the producers aren't up to the task or it wouldn't be this bad to begin with. It's beyond unfortunate that the otherwise competent performers are in such a horrible show. Loved this show! Let me start off with this note-if you are looking for people flying from the air, extravagant costumes and makeup, and pure "theater," you bought the wrong ticket-Cirque shows are down the street. But if you are looking for a show with great dancing, tons of laughs, and oh-so-beautiful people, this is the show for you! The show is hosted by Shangela, from RuPaul's Drag Race. She is a performer all around-she's dancing, she's cracking jokes, she's interacting with the audience-she is absolutely great, and this type of gig is a great fit for her talents. And then there are the dancers. Oh boy, the dancers. Whether you are gay or straight, or anywhere in between, this show will grab your attention. The performers clearly put in their all, and are engaging throughout the entire show. And did I mention how beautiful they are? Well, it bears repeating. Afterwards the audience gets to mingle with the cast in the beer garden. The cast was extremely friendly, taking pictures and talking with anybody and everybody. This is a great way to get people enthused about the show-after being entertained, you get to gush about how good the show was and how beautiful they all are (again, bears repeating). I liked the show so much I went back a second night. This night, no Shangela, but instead a hostess named Skye, who was also entertaining. As for seating, VIP gets you close to the stage, but you'll still see everything just fine in the general admission seats. And remember, this is an adult show, so you may want to spring for the VIP seats is you want to see "everything" closer up. So check this show out if you want to just have a good time, be titillated, and see beautiful people (last time, I promise) giving it their all. read more

Extremely talented dancers, fun host, great energy, terrible acoustics, wonky stage layout, bad lighting, and a worthless general admission seating area. I think that about covers it. It's a shame, really. The talent is so evident in these beautiful dancers, but everything around them just seems lacking. The stage is shallow and long, which appears crowded at times and makes for terrible viewing angles from the GA section. There are two support beams that make for really awkward movements around them. I truly feel for the performers. Specifically in the show I attended, sound in the GA section was mainly filled with a subwoofer going nutso, reverbing out the sharp corner angle near the stairs. Fix yo sh*t, Chateau. Hopefully this gets resolved in the future. Lighting was slow to highlight what was going on, and there were parts being lighted up even when nothing was happening in that area. I'm also not sure what the purpose was for Shangela asking the audience what they'd like to see in the show. It never seemed to come back up, or if it did, it wasn't clear. Shaeja was my favorite dancer, but honestly, they are all extremely talented and will fuel many mental fantasies. Straight, gay, bi, whatever, there's something here for everyone. If I weren't overly critical, I'd say go see this show to amp up for the night. It's fun. It's loud. It's a good time in the making. read more

If you're looking for a high-energy, funny, sexy and entertaining Vegas show, 53X is definitely for you. The show is more variety-style, featuring different themed dance numbers set to energetic hits and hosted by the fabulous Shangela. If you want a show with a storyline, and go in expecting this to be a Cirque show, PLEASE KNOW this show is NOT for you, and you WILL be disappointed (much like Mr. Kevin K. below). However: the dancers are all incredibly talented, and I personally loved all of the different sets with the themes and choreography. It kept me guessing, because I had no idea what would happen next. Shangela ties everything together with her witty, fierce and hilarious monologues in between acts. I would say this is sort of akin to a strip-tease show, but with better choreography (read: great dance numbers) and less nudity. Frankly, their abs and muscles are the attention-getters here, since the dancers are all in incredible shape. Obviously, don't go if you're not cool with nudity. There is some, though the dancing, music, and fun/upbeat atmosphere make it feel more tame and very much a show, not a strip club. It definitely feels like a Vegas show--fun, glitzy, lots of eye candy, and a bit of a tease. Good for a girls night, group of friends or even couples--there's a fun interactive number just for the latter. I also liked that it was funny without being vulgar--it was very much tongue-in-cheek, and they let the dance numbers and dancers' bodies speak for themselves. Pro tip: get a seat at the tables if you can. Makes it easier to drink and watch at the same time, while not being seated next to a bunch of strangers. Overall: loved the show and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see a fun, "Vegas-y" show featuring great dancing and a lot of laughs. read more

I could not say more wonderful things about this show. It's a show that put me on the edge of my seat, made me bite my nails, and made me ready for the next seen. The first time I saw this show there was a group of nine. Every one of us were over-the-top with excitement and completely just blown away by the chemistry of the dancers. This has been one of the best show I've seen in Las Vegas on a long time. Highly recommend to couples, especially if you have limited show budget but a free evening before the party. We didn't know Shangela before but was blown by her charm. Very competent host and extremely talented dancers that we didn't expect for what we paid. Stage by comparison was a little shabby, and the GA seating can be hard for a good view unless you land a central spot in the front rows (we luckily did); recommend VIP seats - at discount they are very good value. read more

Saw this for the first time on our last trip to Vegas. Can I just say amazing?! It was great to have a co-ed show that me and my husband could equally enjoy. The dancers were fantastic. After the show they were all outside for meet and greats and seemed truly thankful to everyone who had watched the show. And for the host Shangela, well she raised the show to new heights. She provided a great comedic presence and was a great dancer herself. I highly recommend this show to everyone. The only complaint is could possibly come up with is the drink prices. $9 for a bottle of water and $15 for a bottle of beer. That's crazy even for Vegas! Living in Vegas I see a lot shows. This show really impressed me, its very high energy and fun.

3 stars because the show was great. However the operation of the showroom needs to get it together. The show was to start at 9pm. We were still standing in line outside the venue at 9:05. They did however bring around cheep champaign to make the wait a little better. We finally got seated, the chairs are from a torture horror film, my back has never hurt so bad in my life. Ordered a vodka tonic, $14 and it was all tonic, terrible drink! To make it worse I checked in on yelp and received a free drink offer, the bar was unwilling to accept this, they said it was for the nightclub, however there are no hours listed on the offer. The show started at 9:22, at this point the VIP area was empty and GA was sitting on top of each other. The ushers then proceed to re-seat everyone in GA for the next 30 min, completely interrupting the 10 people they left sitting in the GA section. Once all of that was over the amazing show was able to be enioyed. After the show they usher you out to the balcony area of the nightclub, where I tried again to use the Yelp free drink offer and was denied. At this point frustrated with the operations of the establishment I left. On a side note, there was a little too much bear naked male a** for my liking, but it was making the ladies go craxy. The women were beautiful and very talented. Great combination for both sexes. Show a solid 4.5-5 stars Operations of the showroom 1 if that. Hopefully operations can work out their growing pains and get it together, and also invest in new chairs! read more

My boyfriend and I made a night out of it on a weeknight when we not only saw the show, but we ate and drank at Beer Park after the show. The dancers are awesome (so pretty and handsome). The dancers were good but there seem to be a lack of energy and pull with the audience. I was looking forward to the show with some of the reviews I had read on Vegas.com but was sorely disappointed. Told we had VIP seating. What a total lie. We were in the last row of tables, narrow chairs, squished together. Never offered a drink. Wouldn't have bought one anyways. $15 plus 22 % mandatory tip & service charge! What a farce! The show was great. It had humor and the type of entertainment you would expect. The South Park Chef scene was probably the best but it had some good variety and audience participation. If you are on the fence, I suggest seeing it. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is the drink prices. We ordered a round of drinks for four. They were two wells and two beers. The total was $60. That is excessive, even for the Strip. We planned on drinking more at the show but did not because of those prices. read more

There was also some audience participation which amped up the the fun factor.
