Stephen The Spectacular - This name says it all! I recently met Stephen. As we were engaging in conversation he began to implement some of his magic. My mind had a hard time keeping up with each illusion that he so easily performed. His magic skills are truly amazing - quite the experience! Stephen also performs for many charity events throughout the year. Hopefully, you will have the opportunity to meet and experience this wonderful human being who is a spectacular magician as well.

Blew my mind. Great mix of magic, very engaging with the audience. If only he could make my ex wife disappear!

Shin Lim: Limitless - Audience participation trick

Shin Lim: Limitless

The Strip

I am a big fan of entertainment by magic and an even bigger fan of sleight of hand. Limitless…read moredelivers from the first trick via the narrating magician to the last trick with the switcharoo. There was a ton of audience participation. One of my favorites was with the cards at our seats. I'm fairly certain I did everything of my own volition in my seat all the way back towards the exit so I was as shocked as everybody around me when the trick worked. I wasn't sure what to make of Shin Lim's way of speaking but his delivery was perfect for his sense of humor. Shin navigates each situation with self-deprecating and effortless retorts without sounding rehearsed. One of my favorite comments was a quiet "that's why we're here" when a participant back turned to the audience after asking if what she was doing was for the trick. The show is located in Palazzo, a short walk if one accidentally shuttles to the Venetian, but it would be better if you just go straight to the Palazzo. A fantastic show with fantastic sleight of hand. Would watch again!

Before the show someone from the back comes out and picks certain people who will be called on during the show. For Stuart McLeod, a very funny guy but a definitely scripted performance with the audience members he picks on. A staff member came out and talked to two people sitting behind us and we listened very closely as they were told that they would be chosen, the question they are going to be asked and what their response should be. Stuart throws two frisbees out to the audience and it's supposed to be random however, two kids were picked. One boy caught the frisbee and Stuart asked him to give it to the girl behind him which he did. Then Stuart asked her to pick a number between 25 and 100 and told her NOT to pick 67 but of course she did which went along with the number writing skit he did. Obviously it was not random but staged for the trick to work. Shin Lim, WOW!!! He had practiced long and hard to perfect his craft and he is amazing. Many tricks are easy to figure out as you can see how it comes to fruition. Tables are used through his act and most have a hidden area for him to grab things from underneath. Even though you can see his sleight of hand preparing to make the illusion happen, he is an amazing magician. Some tricks will leave you stunned and the audience members he picks I did not see them being prepped before the show so I believe they were unknown and saw the magic close up. Shin Lim is an amazing magician as I said and it's no wonder why he won AGT twice, FISM and is now in Vegas. He is a Vegas show worth going to and more than once, just a very cool experience. His wife is a part of the show, she does magic tricks as well which shows how talented she is as well as a trapeze ring act. She was really good and I only wish she would have been performed a little longer. Shin Lim had Mackenzie Sol who was in the top 24 of American Idol come out and sign some during his magic acts, Magic to Music. Mackenzie is a very good singer and it gelled well with the show. I would go see the show again as it was very entertaining. It started on time unlike most other Vegas shows and was an amazing 90 minute show worth seeing. I highly recommend this show. Yes you can figure out some of the magic being done if you watch closely, but the amount of prep and practice that Shin Lim has had to endure to perfect his craft, he is worth supporting. A very entertaining show! Go see Shin Lim and support him, he is one of the best shows I've seen recently.

Alice Cooper and Criss Angel teamed up for series of special shows called "Welcome to Our Nightmare" a limited-engagement of "shock rock & magic". Now I've never been to the Mind Freaks show before but being a huge Alice Cooper fan I knew it would be special. Man I was 1000% correct. This was a spectacular and quite the visual for Alice Cooper fans. What Chris Angel added to Alice's show was breathtaking and hadn't really been scene since the 70's in my opinion. So you take the Alice Cooper traditional show and add almost all of THE MIND FREAKS show plus come up with new stuff and it's the ultimate rock n roll theatrics you'll ever experience. I'm blown away and I only got to experience 2 shows and would hope they continue this partnership in the future... Mr Angel you are truly a MIND FREAK and your show is inspiring and wonderful. I'll be coming for a regular show next time in Vegas. But this partnership with Alice will Be hard to be topped..

However, without his glasses, he could not see the stage properly. In addition, he has mobility disabilities that make walking difficult, so going all the way to the bell desk was not easy for him. The venue should consider having dedicated check-in counters for situations like this, so guests with disabilities do not have to travel such a long distance. Another possible solution would be to provide camera lens covers that can be securely placed over the camera lens during the show and cannot be removed until the event is over. The show itself was very good, but I was disappointed with the way my husband was treated and with the lack of accommodation for his needs.

Boy did he prove me wrong. The show was fantastic from start to finish. He is a fantastic performer who easily connects with his audience. His magic is top-notch and his illusions are very well done! I especially appreciated his interactions with the audience as well as his story telling. He used quite a few volunteers from the audience. At the end of the show, he remembered every one of their names and thanked them individually. Impressive!! He also made himself available afterwards for photos with every audience member. What a great guy!! My only complain is the service in the room. We were one of the first people seated when the doors opened and our food order did not arrive until after the show started, and that was only after we flagged down the server to inquire. But I am not deducting any stars for the bad service as that is not the responsibility of the magician. If you are in Vegas, I highly recommend his show. The small venue allows for an up close and personal experience, something you don't get in the big theaters.

Every illusion hit harder than the last, each one crafted with a level of artistry and showmanship you rarely see anymore. And then came the finale. A moment so bold, so dangerous, so flawlessly executed that the entire audience froze -- and then erupted. It wasn't just a trick; it was a spectacle. The kind of magic you can't explain, only experience. The standing ovation wasn't polite... it was instinctive. If you want a night that feels bigger than life -- mystery, danger, elegance, and pure world‑class entertainment -- you need to see David Goldrake's International Man of Mystery show. This isn't just magic. It's a master at work, and he deserves far more recognition than he gets. An unforgettable experience.

This is definitely a general audience show without it being too toned down that it turns into a strictly children's show. I will say that at it's current location at the Strat, I'd suggest buying seats that are further away from the stage if you don't want the tricks spoiled for you. My husband and I were seated next to the stage (stage left) and unfortunately could see how many of the tricks were done because of how close our seats were to the performance. (Ex: one of the fabric backdrops has a secret opening that up close, is visibly more dirty than the rest of the backdrop.) On the flip side, if you want to see how the tricks are done, get the VIP seats next to the stage. I won't spoil it by explaining which tricks get spoiled, but you'll see at least 4-5. My husband and I still had a good time but I think I'd enjoy it more if the tricks were still a mystery.

But the dance is about 3 songs and depending what you get to drink. It is slightly above the average for most clubs I've been to. That's including Miami, LA, Portland, and Phoenix. The champagne rooms are also spendy at $1500. Yeah there's an extra 0. They do say that they can negotiate which... Kinda already is letting you know even they're not gonna be able to sell it. The girls also get offended when you tell them you don't have that much money to take the room. I had $500 which is PLENTY to have a good night at a strip club. I guess not here. I would give this place the higher end of 3 with a 3.8/5. It's pretty convenient being close to multiple hotels including the virgin. There were lots of those jokes around.
