Stephen "Stephen The Spectacular" Levine is one of the best magicians I've ever seen. We originally met him at the Magic Castle Hollywood and later got to see him perform again at another event. His illusions, card tricks, and coin magic are truly incredible and always leaves everyone amazed. While at the Castle, he was part of our group for most of the night. He was an amazing host, incredibly welcoming, and genuinely fun to spend time with. You can tell he's passionate about what he does, and it made the whole experience even more memorable. Attended an event on Halloween at the Huntington Gardens in San Marino. I was standing in line and struck up a conversation with the whistling man (dressed like a surgeon) behind me. Boy was I in for a treat. While standing in line Stephen the Spectacular introduced himself with a simple card trick. I say "simple" because there was not a lot of shuffling, putting back cards, distracting things that I have been used to accompanying card tricks. I won't give it away, but it was the quickest, most mysterious card trick I've ever seen! Then after this he performed a coin trick for us. All I can say is... what the heck?! My husband and I were baffled and had a great time just chatting with Stephen the Spectacular. He definitely lived up to his name. I would love to see his full show. Last night I had the extreme pleasure of dining at The Magic Castle and experiencing the one and only Houdini Seance which is for magician members only, thanks to Stephen Levine. He was a gracious and knowledgeable host, which made the night even more entertaining and memorable. I saw Stephen last Thursday at the Magic Castle...he is most certainly spectacular! Although his specialty is "children's magic," I'd argue that his magic is marvelous for all ages. I'd already seen four separate magic shows before Stephen shared his talent. He performed card tricks, coin tricks, and tricks of the mind (or is that what all magic entails?). He even let me walk away with a couple of souvenirs! I constantly found myself asking, "But HOW?" They say you have to see it to believe it... I'd highly recommend this magician. read more

He has a knack for incorporating humor into his tricks so it's an enjoyable show to watch. The kids loved all of his tricks and he spent a lot of time talking to them and using volunteers and generally trying to make sure they were all involved and enjoying themselves. I'm responding to the ridiculous review Jennifer D left on 4/15/2017. It was her child she is referring to in the review. She is out of line! Her child was rude, disrespectful and disruptive at the performance. Stephen handled this child like the professional that he is. The mother just sat there watching her son and did nothing. It is poor parenting on her part and she wants to blame the performer. Stephen, a dad himself, is aware of how to speak to children. That child was out of control and the mother was equally rude. Stephen did some work at my yearly charity event in benefit of the St. Jude research hospital.
