Folks, this is as good as it gets! We are dark chocolate fanatics and we first discovered David Bradley chocolates in a local card shop, where we picked up a package of their dark chocolate, coconut clusters. We got home, opened the package, and life was never the same for us again. Any other chocolates we've tried, (and we've tried just about all of them), didn't even come close to the deep dark chocolate/coconut flavor, texture and taste, of these little gems. We knew that we just HAD to find the factory, which as luck would have it, turned out to be only 10 minutes from our home. Yesterday, we managed to find the place.....(no easy feat, as it is not on a street, but instead, is tucked away in the back of an industrial park, surrounded by warehouses)...and when we opened the door and walked into the retail store which fronts the factory, the aroma and presentation of their products, made us think we died and went to heaven! We met the two brothers who run the operation, David and Bradley, who gave us tastes of several of their products, (many of which we bought...LOL!) We were amazed at the variety and depth of style of their products, ranging from break-up chocolates to many different shapes such as wine bottles, pick-up trucks, computers, etc, etc, etc. If you need a gift or are looking for something different to bring to someone's home, their gift packages are on-the-spot and will no doubt be the hit of the party. We strongly suggested to the owners that they seriously consider moving their operations to a main road, (they are now right off Rt. 130). Being directly on such a road, will give them the only thing they are lacking.....VISIBILITY! Given a better location and with the quality of their products, their business will take off like a rocket! Bottom line.......Take the time and trouble to seek out this fabulous goodie shop. Heaven on Earth. Tonight was my first time going here and definately not my last. The chocolate is amazing, the samples are endless, and the staff is friendly. I cant even say my favorite because I loved everything I tried. They have everything from dark chocolate, to milk, to chocolate covered twizzlers. And the dipped fruit topped it all. I'm in this area quite a bit and finally had a chance to explore David Bradley Chocolatier. It's a Chocolate factory offering a wide variety of chocolate and candy confections. Their are signs along the roads. I have wanted to check the place out for awhile. Made in the USA, not a small factor in my wanting to do so. Hey, it's chocolate too! We were greeted immediately by friendly helpful staff upon entering the shop, which was full of samples and nicely packaged treats. Everything had a sample tray next to it, and clerks, who also worked on the line circulated with trays as well, ready to answer any questions. Choco late covered bacon! Your choice of milk or dark. It was surprisingly tasty. I bought some, because I could sample it. Various barks in nice bags, topped with bows, sat with softer delicious temptations. Gift trays and large gift sets were also available. Party theme things like chocolate shaped aligators for kids parties and fresh gummy candies all looked very tasty. I bought several gifts while I was there. There was even a window looking into the factory. A wimsical picture of Lucy and Ethyl's famous Chocolate Factory scene. My husband & I recently visited this store. We don't know if we were discriminated against due to our background. The reason we felt this way, was because when we entered no one greeted us. However, when other customers entered they were greeted. We ignored it and continued to shop around. We were planning on buying a substantial amount of products. However, I saw the employees at the front counter laughing at and talking about some other customers who had just entered, who were also of a similar background. When we saw this, we were turned off by this behavior and did not feel comfortable patronizing this establishment. We decided to purchase at least 1 item to see how it tasted and not leave empty handed. Upon checkout, NO WORDS were exchanged, not a hello/ how are you, thanks for coming, etc. It was silent. It seemed like the employees wanted us to feel uncomfortable. My husband was very polite and proceeded to thank them after checking out, and they responded with silence! They also gave us a horribly unfriendly look. Again, we couldn't help but feel we were discriminated against, because there was no other reason for them to be so unfriendly to a new customer. Sadly, that will be our last visit as their behavior left a bad taste in our mouth. read more

Absolutely delicious, quality FRESH chocolate! Definitely worth the trip and its a little hard to locate (but follow the "Chocolate Factory" signs), but you will be thrilled with the products. Lots of variety, all well packaged and all hand-made. I've purchased for gifts and visited the store for various holidays and never have been dissapointed and neither has the gift recipient of the chocolate I bought! After having received Shari's Berries for the 2nd year as a Valentines Day gift and being very disappointed with the condition of the product (2nd year) and the fact that they do not advertise Chocolate Covered Strawberries, they are advertised as Gourmet. I saw an advertisement from David Bradley Chocolates stating they use real chocolate for their Chocolate Covered Strawberries and decided to visit the store in Windsor, NJ. Well, I must say I was so pleased with the staff, free samples, displays and the no-pressure to buy. I walked out with $100.00 worth of chocolate and forgot the Chocolate Covered Strawberries, lol. read more

I ordered chocolate covered strawberries as a Valentine's Day Gift for my Dad who is a Hospice patient and my sister who takes care of him. I need to add information to the message card. I called the David Bradley Company the day the chocolate was to be ship and they happily added to my gift card message. I told them I loved hearing their radio commercials on NJ 101.5 for Valentines Day. The women at the company asked me if I would have the opportunity to try my Dad's chocolate covered strawberries, I said I would not. She offered to send me a free sample of the chocolate covered strawberries to my house on Valentine's Day which was on a Saturday. I appreciated the offer and the chocolate strawberries came as they said. The Valentines Day packaging was beautiful and the chocolate covered strawberries delicious. My Dad and my sister were very impressed with the Valentines Day packaging of the chocolate covered strawberries and enjoyed the delightful taste of the perfect covered strawberries in chocolate.
