This is a cute little chocolate place to visit and the chocolate is all freshly made there. The smells inside are amazing and the staff always tend to be friendly. It can be a pain to find this place though as it is kind of hidden. But it still is fun to go here to pick up candy or chocolate especially for a friend or relative. Happened to be passing by on Valentine's Day no less and decided to check it out for the first time. The location is kind of pushed back and hard to find but it's there, and there's signs. The storefront is small and it was busy for the holiday but everything moved fast. They had incredibly helpful and kind employees working the registers and handing out yummy samples. The white toffee was a fav! Their prices are a little steep but that's to be expected. The store is cute, nicely decorated. Lots of holiday and party themed items. Definitely recommend! read more

This chocolate shop (and factory) is in an unlikely place, an industrial park! Down a winding path, the final endpoint is like finding the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow. You will be glad you made the journey. Through a glass window inside the shop, you will see the factory itself where the chocolate is made. If you order a Dubai Chocolate Strawberry Cup, you will see it being made right in front of your eyes. The friendly shop ladies offer free samples of their amazing confections before you buy and one taste will convince you to empty your wallet of all your gold in exchange for theirs. It's a wonderful trade. The Pretzel Toffee Bites and Coconut Clusters are simply divine. The chocolate covered fruit are winners for those with nut allergies. The Dubai chocolate bar is everything I had hoped for. The shop itself is covered wall to wall with all kinds of chocolates, candies, plush animals, and holiday-themed items. For first timers, it is kind of difficult to find. You definitely have to follow the signs to make sure you get to the right place. We first tried their chocolate after buying some from their Christmas pop-up store in the QB mall. I was immediately in love, and with Easter right around the corner, I wanted to visit their store to stock up. My husband, toddler, and I visited their Windsor location earlier today. I was impressed by the variety of offerings. They had quite a few samples available, and plenty of "seconds." The ladies working in the shop were incredibly gracious to us and our toddler, who wanted to look at everything, including the stuff behind the sales counter. Chocolated oranges, pineapple and blueberries are one better than the other and make for extremely thoughtful gifts if I don't mind explaining the bite marks and torn wrapping paper - not to mention my cocoa smeared face. I have to give another shout out to David Bradley Chocolatier's. My boyfriend's birthday is coming up and I went to get individual numbered chocolates. When I spoke to one of the ladies who work there ( and I might add they are ALL so knowledgeable) she told me that they could put the 2 numbers in a single cello bag. Perfect !! So I placed an order for 11 sets milk and dark chocolate then called back the day after and added two more sets of white chocolate. When I went to pick them up the following Saturday I was expecting the chocolates with a blue tie on them like we had spoken about. So not only did they have the blue tie BUT also a birthday ribbon ! I LOVED LOVED LOVED them. It was so nice and unexpected that they went one step further to do this. You have to go here not only for orders but their showroom is off the charts. It's been a while, but I love me that David Bradley Chocolate from the same named chocolatier. Housed in a previously abandoned industrial factory I East Windsor, NJ, they were lucky enough to find a successful niche business that has prospered since 1977. Family owned by the Hicks clan, David and Bradley are the two sons along with sister Christine who run the operation now. I first stumbled upon these master chocolate mavens about 20 years ago when driving north on Rt. 130 to visit my mother in Cranbury. She wanted to go there to stock up, so we drove back together and parked in the gravel lot. The factory was totally rusted out, but around back we found the entrance and found the modest shop loaded with all those delicious creamies, darks, fruities and old fashioned hard milk chocolates. She bought a little of everything, while I was taken by the gold foil wrapped stars and red hearts, figuring I would give them as gifts to all my clients, friends and neighbors. It worked out great. Everyone loved them and wanted to know where I found them. Thereafter, while running a political campaign, I bought hundreds more to give to people I met door knocking if they promised to vote for us. Way better than balloons. Must have worked because we won and sent thank you cards to everyone with a photo of those hearts and stars on the front of the card. From then on those trinkets became our calling card. Saw a billboard for chocolate covered pineapple and decided to stop by this cute little chocolate shop. It did not disappoint. Staff was super friendly and offered a surplus of samples and suggestions. The store also had several sample stations throughout. There was a big selection of candy and chocolate covered everythings. We were happily greeted by the employees with samples of there chocolate covered fruits. I've never had chocolate covered apples but it was to die for. They had many other small samples around the store such as chocolate covered bacon, peppermint bark, and pralines. The dark chocolate that they make here is one of the best I've ever had. They have an assortment of chocolate options ranging from candies to covered pretzels. A perfect place to pick up party favors as well. They make chocolate gifts and items for every theme such as super bowl, baby shower, valentine's day and weddings. I ordered chocolate covered strawberries, pineapple, and apples. The strawberries was definitely my favorite. If this store was closer to home, I definitely would be in some trouble. I've purchased my candy here for weddings, baby showers, parties etc. since they opened up. I went there yesterday to pick up a few things. There price were so high it was crazy and some people left. I pick out 1 bag of wrapped bunnies 7onces which was a LOT LESS THAN OTHER YEARS but my grandson loved them. They were $10.00 but at the register the person asked if I was paying by cash or credit. If paying by cash there was a 2.5 % tacked on. When I said that crazy she said " that it was not the owner or her who was doing putting on the credit card up charge it was in the registered doing it. I tried to explained to her but it was like talking to a wall. This is a cost for doing business and shouldn't be charged back to the customers in this manner. There is no discount if you pay cash either. I know other places are doing the same thing, people have stop going now the companies are out of business. The owner want to know why they are out of business and it's because of this same reason that DBC will be. My other question is did they change something in the chocolate because the people who has one piece said it tasked differently. read more

Stopped by while Black Friday shopping and purchased some chocolate covered strawberries and peppermint bark. The strawberries were so fresh but just wished the chocolate was more evenly coated. The peppermint bark was very good and the pieced were thick. I love all the variety of chocolate offered however I did find it to be a bit pricey. read more

This Chocolate Factory was near we were staying while visiting Princeton. I had seen an advertisement on the local map supplied by our hotel, as well as a billboard. It was worth it! Lots of free samples and nice people. Also, they had about 40 different pieces made in chocolate for great gift ideas! Need a "thank you", or sports symbol, a dollar sign, dancing or music notes in chocolate? They had so many more. Their chocolate makes a great gift and they had a large variety of Halloween and Thanksgiving seasonal gift sets, or separate, to purchase.I brought back home in CA several gifts for co-workers and family members. The signage and markers are a great help to find their factory, as it is at the end of a large warehouse compound. Thank you! read more

David Bradley coverage everything in chocolate. from pretzels to graham crackers to marshmallows, caramel, macaroons, marzipan, ginger, animal crackers, fruit, nuts, and now even bacon. yup, bacon. one strip of bacon dipped in milk or dark chocolate will run you $2.50. they also have fudge, salt water taffy, gummy candy, and molded chocolates. they have pre-made and make-your-own gift baskets for all occasions (birthdays, teacher appreciation, seasonal holidays). yeah, it's a bit pricey. but you have to experience the factory and their products anyway. there are always fresh samples coming out from the back to satisfy the unavoidable chocolate craving you get as soon as you walk through the doors and the smell hits ya. and do yourself a favor: get the dark chocolate sea salt caramels. trust. read more

Once you find this hidden (truly!) gem, you will be delighted like me I hope! You are greeted by an employee smiling and holding a silver tray of candy asking (oh she knows!) if you would like to try x, y or z. So, as you are walking through this colorful (on the small side) shop, you are already blissful and WANT to buy something! I got some pretty colored foiled wrapped solid milk chocolate balls for my kiddies' Christmas stockings as well as some chocolate molded candy pops shaped like an x box controller and an Iphone. They also had high heeled shoes, dogs, fish, etc. Very cute! As you peruse the store, there are samples placed throughout. Of course I tried a BIG non pareil. YUM!! There is a small section as you're walking to the register where you get 50% off certain chocolates due to some breakage or other minor (who cares!) 'faults' or out of the current season items? To say that this chocolatier is off the beaten path is an understatement. It is deeply nestled into an industrial park. But I followed the signs and eventually came to it. I've tried some of their wares as gifts but today was my first visit to the actual location where they are made and sold. It's a nice retail space that is ample enough to display their many offerings. There is even a window to view the manufacturing of the treats. I have to say that they are very generous with samples here, maybe too much so. There were at least 5 separate dishes, and they also walk around offering additional items. Everything I tasted was excellent, but I knew already what I was here for. However I saw a few other items that made their way into my basket that I didn't know I would get. If you are anywhere in this area I recommend paying a visit here. Especially during seasonal times if you want to get the special people in your life something other than the run of the mill offerings found in supermarkets. Side of the road advertising works on me! Those enticing signs. Chocolate. Come this way! It was a bit confusing trying to find this place as its tucked away pretty well. Definitely took a wrong turn and had to search for signs but we made it! They definitely get props for their selection. They covered things in chocolate that I've never thought about (chocolate covered grapes were tasty). And they also had all your staples (chocolate covered bacon of course). They have a ton of samples so you can be adventurous without having to buy a $15 bag of something you end up hating. Price point was a bit high but in this kind of speciality shop I guess it's to be expected. Plenty of parking out front and they had great seasonal items (st patty's and Easter when I visited). Plenty of staff were around if I needed help. And you can also watch them make chocolate at the window which was a nice touch. read more

Excellent place to get chocolate. Weirdly it's in an industrial park, so if you find yourself in one don't be surprised. I've gone to this place for all special occasions Valentine's Day, anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, etc. Can't go wrong with any of the chocolate covered pretzels and/or fruit. Also the zany nuggets are amazing, highly recommend. The only thing that didn't wow me were the fruit gummies, but everything else you can go wrong with. Received a bag of Peanut Butter Smoothies - Milk Chocolates as a gift and for almost $8 for a 6 oz bag I expected 1) Great taste and 2) High quality wholesome ingredients. It had neither. I was disappointed in the ingredients list for the price alone: The peanut butter they use is not natural it has hydrogenated cottonseed and rapeseed oils (Canola oil) - which companies are now finally using the real name behind canola oil to fool people who are only aware of the Canada oil name. Palm Kernel Oil, Soy lecithin, artificial flavors and Sorbitol. And the taste was even less impressive. It has no fresh peanut butter taste and the chocolate encasing was lackluster. read more

I've been meaning to come here since I saw their signs. Today seemed to be a good day as any. So I followed the signs on route 130. For the most part the signs are sufficient to get there, but once you enter the industrial park, it was a bit of a hassle to find. It is tucked in the back of the industrial park. I expected the store to be a little bigger, but it was quite alright. It was especially packed today, because of Valentine's Day. The stuff is relatively pricey there, but I expected as much. There are plenty of samples given out and you can tell that the chocolate is good quality - very rich and smooth. Also, the staff was very helpful and kind. By the way, I found that I wasn't a fan of the sizzling bacon heart. It was a little too much for me to handle. But all the other samples were pretty good! Life happens. Chocolate helps. A hidden gem that on my first attempt I wasn't sure what I was looking for. Located in an industrial park, as you enter there's a sign that says the number of the building they are located in to your left....and a sign on the right that says "Chocolate factory ahead" but ominously just placed there as I drive deep into the dark road with a bunch of buildings that all look the same. Eventually I find the place and while they are in a larger building, the store itself to purchase the chocolates in is a little shop with a bunch of racks full of chocolate around the walls and a single middle section. Holiday items are prominently placed around and your prices vary from simple chocolate pieces to some very elaborate combinations inside glassware or other decorative items. All the chocolate is coming out fresh as they were bringing out more chocolate items while I was searching around the night before Valentines and they have wrapping stations available if you want to put together a nice gift package. The chocolates themselves are to die for. They have plenty of combination items for the sweet and savory lover; or sweet and salty; or sweet and sweet...basically lots of combinations to impress your palate are up for picking. The staff is very friendly and willing to help pick out items with you, or ahead of time if you wanted to place and order with them to be ready when you arrive. This place is definitely hard to find. Follow the signs and you will get there. I missed the turn in the industrial park so when you get to building three which is also our building 18 is, turn left and go all the way to the end and you will find the chocolate place. This is pretty expensive. For $24you get about 15 or 16 chocolate covered pretzels. Chocolate is good but you have to decide whether it's that good or not. One thing that it is good for is the party favors/wedding favors which seem to be competitively priced. They are free samples so at least you know the quality of what you're buying. And if they're making chocolate you can observe through the window as they're making it. read more

Some kind of scam going on with this company. They are on a website called localflavor.com it's like groupon. Well we paid $15.00 for a $30 certificate. It says only valid at their MANALAPAN location. There is NO MANALAPAN location. It closed.....well we drove 25 miles to their location listed on the website on their certificate . The people there said oh that's not us... Yet the website associated with their certificate is theirs.. Stay away from these people they are scam artists. read more

I got (dark) chocolate sea salt (vanilla) caramels & dark chocolate pecan turtles ~ both of which were outstanding!
