We just went through the process of purchasing a home and were referred to Nancy Meston with Guild…read moreby our realtor. We called her right after meeting with our realtor for the first time and have been in regular contact since. We are first-time homebuyers so we had no idea what we were doing and Nancy took the time to answer all of our questions, of which there were many. Nancy checked in with us regularly and called as soon as she had any news for us. Nancy is incredibly knowledgeable about all things mortgage-related. If she didn't know something, she found out and told us immediately. She is incredibly thorough and took care of everything for us. We really only had to sign paperwork and decide on a rate, the rest Nancy took care of. She is also a complete sweetheart and we loved working with her personally. I will definitely be sending my friends to Nancy when it's their turn to buy a house. If you're looking for a mortgage broker, definitely go with her!

They were extra hardworking from start to finish-processing preapproval letters ( thanks Julie Stouder!)for offers practically 24/7. It took five offers before I found my house. The mortgage approval process was smoother and less hassle than some cars I have purchased! Jake White worked with us on the conditions up front to make everything easy for the final underwriting. I cannot recommend this team more! Thanks everyone!

Looking for unprofessional and non transparent communication during your upcoming real estate…read moretransaction? Wanting to experience "car sales man" like lending experience while financing your home? Buyers: searching for a mortgage broker that gives you pre-approval to purchase a home only to find out at the 11th hour that you do not have approval for something that should have been caught months ago wasting your money and time? Sellers: looking for a buyer on your home and yearning for extended time frames, with little to no communication resulting in your sale falling through and losing out on the house you were purchasing wasting your money and time due to them utilizing an untrustworthy mortgage lender? Then look no further OMT is the place for you!!! If I could leave negative stars, I would. Don't walk, please run away from this company. There are plenty of trustworthy, professional and local businesses here to help you with your mortgage lending needs. This one is not the one for you. Our real estate transaction was a complete disaster due to no one involved other than JR with OMT. He mismanaged timeframes and paperwork, flat out refused to communicate with all professional parties involved in the sale (due what seems a greatly inflated ego) which resulted in sale falling through in the end after extended timeframes and wasted money. I have never in my life experienced such inept communication and poor customer service. Save yourself the heartache and never utilize your lending through this company, or participate in any type of real estate transaction where OMT is involved. Buying and selling a home is stressful enough, please do not add to your stress by using this lender.

I found my dream home on March 14, made an offer the following Monday ... did some negotiating till the end of the week and got started the following week on disclosures. Let's say March 24th, I signed loan docs today 04/16 and should have my keys tomorrow!! Not all deals will be this fast or as smooth but what I can say ... Nick & Sheila will keep you informed every step of the way. I could not ask for a better mortgage broker, Nick is personable, has a great sense of humor and best of all - he knows what he's doing. I quickly realized that I could trust Nick completely and that he truly did what was best for me and my situation. I hope to never purchase another home but if I ever do, Nick will be who I turn to and I tell all my friends, if you're looking for a mortgage broker that is AMAZING, call Nick; you will be so glad you did. If you're like me and haven't the foggiest clue about buying a home, trust me - you want this man in your corner as he is so smart & in tune with what he does and there won't be any surprises at the end - everything came out as Nick said or lower. I cannot say enough great things about OMT, Nick Carter & Sheila. CALL THEM, CALL THEM NOW!

I've been a member for 20 years and have only had good experiences with them…read more When I was 19 or 20 and had no credit, they educated me and helped me build it. First I had a secured card then that turned into a credit card. Because of their advice, I have always paid credit cards in full and have avoided paying the any interest. They helped me finance my first car. Then they helped me refinance it when it needed over 3,000 in repairs. I recently took out a HELOC with them and when I was comparing theirs with a couple of other options I was surprised to see the bad reviews and wondered if things changed, but I also noticed every credit union I looked similar. It sounds like some of the bad experiences were because of details written into the terms of a loan that they didn't understand. I think if you ask enough questions, or just tell them you don't know what to ask but want advice on how to avoid bad experiences, you can avoid those kinds of misunderstandings. They have always helped me understand what I was signing and what to expect whenever I've asked. I've worked with other lenders that were not so helpful and had bad experiences with them, so I think that makes quite a difference. Maybe I've just had a fantastic streak of luck with them over the years, but I doubt that's it. I'll update if something bad happens this time, but I wouldn't be scared off by the bad reviews. My only complaint is that they don't have any branches north of Keizer.

Customer service at my branch, West 11th, and online has always been fantastic and they often go the extra mile if necessary. I read some of they one star reviews and I'm sorry their experiences are not like mine. I have many friends that have been members for decades and they all feel the same as I do. I highly recommend them and am grateful for the years of service they have provided. Oh, I do have two complaints. I miss the baskets of hard candy that were a fixture there and those big yellow triangular pens that they had. My advice? Forgive them for that and become a member.
