Eric was incredibly communicative and was able to get her on the schedule almost immediately. The install was seamless and he was incredibly patient with my mom in setting up the system. Very good experience!

Very disappointed with the performance of the system package that cost me over $10,000 (I purchased…read moretheir premium/top level speaker package and a number of other items they recommended). Before the installation, I shared my concerns below with the sales person/installer: 1. The size of the inwall speakers the recommended would not likely reproduce the full range of sound desired (especially midrange frequencies) 2. The soundstage produced by the front three speakers needed to anchor vocals to the faces onscreen - not localized to a speaker (especially not to the center channel located below screen). 3. I wanted clean but very strong bass performance that you could feel but not localize to a point in the room. After the installation I received a full demo and sure enough - they failed on all three points. - There is minimal midrange reproduction - The voices are localized on the center channel speaker (despite adjustments) - The powered subwoofer cost over $1,000, but lacks any real impact and it is easy to place where it is in the room I spent time afterwards with the installer sharing my concerns and asking for adjustments to be made. He made some efforts, but the equipment and configuration still produces very, very thin sound reproduction. There is no full range of deep rich sound in action movies (vehicle engines, explosions, etc.). Music on soundtracks sounds like it is playing out of a hand held radio. I told him I was not satisfied and not happy. All he could offer was to sell me additional speakers (left and right tower cabinet speakers and a second subwoofer), and he would give me credit back for two of the in wall speaker The amp is likely not adequate - should have gone with something higher current (Denon, Marantz or similar?). I trusted my money with their expertise/recommendations, and really feel like I failed to pick the right Home Theater company to accomplish a simple HT set up. The room is a dedicated HT room, only 14'x21' with 10' ceilings. I should have done more research. Lastly - on a personal note, I believe how an installer approaches "wire management" (see photos - no methodology) is an indicator of their attention to detail what standard they set for themselves. There is also a photo of their teeny tiny "premium" in wall speaker.

We had added an extender, but that really didn't do much. Brian came by, scoped out the house and other technical stuff. I got a written bid the next day with a few options. We went with what he thought would do the best job. He quickly scheduled us and he and his team were professional, they wore masks and booties, they communicated well as a team and with me as needed. I would recommend them!

I received inconsistent responses until September 4, 2024, when I had to repeatedly call and text. Eventually, their Denver office dismissed me, claiming they no longer service my camera system, despite having replaced the cameras just three months prior. They even texted me that my camera system would be available soon. Now, they say they have no cameras because my system is "too old," even though it's a brand new Lorex system installed in 2023. After a month of inquiries, I received a sarcastic comment from the person responsible for ordering cameras, stating that they no longer service such old models. Why provide me with misleading information for an entire month? How can you claim not to service them when you just did three months ago? I strongly advise against doing business with them; you will only encounter frustration. I have text message evidence of our communication and wish I could have recorded our phone call, as it was both disrespectful and unprofessional.

He came out, figured out the issue fast, explained it clearly, and got everything working the way it should. A couple months later I brought him back out for a separate, unrelated tweak and had the same experience--prompt, professional, and efficient. If you want someone who knows networking, shows up when they say they will, and actually fixes the problem, Benjamin's Cabling is an easy 5-star recommendation.

Let me start by saying that I really wanted to leave a five-star review. Overall Benjamin Chagolla…read moredid great work and I didn't want to tarnish his record by sharing less than stellar feedback. However, in fairness to other customers who may hire Benjamin to do work in their homes or business, I thought it only right to share my thoughts. We hired Benjamin's Cabling to rewire our home and a separate building on our property. He worked very hard to get the job done and was very patient with my questions and requests for information as we went. Initially, communication was great and timely but over the course of the project timeline, this did not remain the case. I would reach out multiple time via email and text and not hear back for a long while. In addition, there were requests that I made for the project which were not and still have not been completed. Since having our home hardwired, we have since needed to build on that infrastructure with security systems and other smart home features. As other professionals have come into our home and home business to do their part of our build-out, they have pointed things out to me that Benjamin didn't do correctly or finish up properly -- things that I wouldn't have known to ask for but that other professionals think Benjamin should have understood and made provisions for. I have since emailed, texted, and called Benjamin multiple times to have him come back and tie up loose ends. He has not replied. Earlier this fall, I recommended him to a friend. She heard back promptly from him initially but she has since followed up and not received a response. I have asked Benjamin to let me know if there was some reason that I wasn't receiving a reply so that if this was the case I could address that. Still no reply. We spent thousands of dollars and before anyone else does the same, I just wanted to make sure you had the opportunity to know in advance that communication may be an issue. It has definitely been for us. In addition, while everything Benjamin said he would do he eventually did, some of the parts of the projects involved him figuring things out. We had to purchase multiple TVs and soundbars because the initial recommendations he made didn't work together. This cost me additional money both in product expense and in my time running back and forth to the store. Benjamin is very smart but he is also young and building his business. This was something I was happy to help him do because his work was good and initially it appeared his professional level of customer service was too. Unfortunately, he left some loose ends that will now cost me additional money to tie up. Again, initially, I was very impressed. I even asked Benjamin to share about his experiences as a young entrepreneur with my three teenage sons. I'm still impressed with the work he did complete but I believe that his youth may also play a role in the lack of timely communication and a few parts of the projects that weren't completed properly. Hopefully, this helps someone make a decision, and if you decide to go with Benjamin just make sure you are extremely clear with Benjamin about what you want done and the time frame in which it should be completed. In addition, I would also make sure that you have a backup plan for a company that will service the install should something not be set up correctly or if you are unable to reach Benjamin in the future.
