Didn't have Oreo overload when I went up there last Friday . Disappointing. This location is very busy. There are a lot of mobile orders, be prepared to wait. However that soggy bread yall have , just keep it . The seasoned rub on chicken is good. I've elected to be vegetarian. Your pockets will be utilized and ran through with these prices, it's very expensive. It's busy and loud ambiance. The parking is difficult and busy.

    Pick up and drink area.

I'm genuinely surprised to see such ratings for Indi's Chicken. I went in expecting a simple,…read moreno-frills spot serving good old-fashioned fried chicken and classic sides. That sounded great to me. Unfortunately, the food, portions, and pricing were all disappointing. A three-piece chicken meal with two sides runs around $13-$14, and the pieces are small. Two of my three pieces were very small drumsticks. The meal doesn't include a drink, and if you just want water, you have to buy a bottle. The sides also come in very small portions. I ordered the 3 piece spicy chicken with baked beans and potato wedges. The seasoning on the chicken had a decent flavor, but it wasn't spicy at all. The bigger issue was that the chicken was extremely dry. The larger piece of fried chicken was especially bad, there was barely any meat in it. Most of it was over-fried, hardened breading surrounding a lot of empty space. I kept biting into thick, crunchy breading and air while trying to find actual chicken. The baked beans were fine but nothing notable. I did like the potato wedges, which were probably the best part of the meal. You get three as a side, but they are at least fairly large. There are also several extra costs that add up. Sauces are sold separately, the meal doesn't include a drink, and there's an additional 3% charge if you don't pay with cash. All in all, I really don't understand the high ratings. You can get better fried chicken at plenty of fast-food restaurants, or even from Walmart or Publix, for less money, with larger portions and more options. Even if you're specifically looking for a no-frills local chicken spot, this doesn't feel like a good value. You pay more, get less, and, based on my visit, the quality isn't there. I definitely wouldn't recommend it.

The…read morerain was coming down hard, making a mess of everything, but the neon sign in the window was a beacon, a neon lie promising refuge and maybe a decent meal. I didn't care about the décor, the painted cartoon chickens on the wall. I just needed fuel, and for ten bucks, Tang's was selling a wing combo that sounded like a bargain. The tables inside were sticky, and the air was thick with the smell of stale grease and despair. I watched a guy across the street wrestling with an umbrella and a large chicken order, the styrofoam containers looking like tombstones for the birds inside. He probably worked some mind-numbing job and would go home and eat alone in front of a flickering television. A sad life, but we're all sad, aren't we? My wings eventually arrived, looking more like battered nuggets than a proper bird's limbs. The skin was crispy, though, a crunchy shield against the blandness of the meat within. I didn't taste any "tang," just salt and the faint chemical tang of whatever they used to deep fry it. But it was food, and it filled the empty space in my stomach. The rice was uninspired, just a pile of starch to soak up the leftover grease. I washed it all down with a warm Sprite, the sickly sweet liquid cutting through the salty mess in my mouth. A decent meal, I suppose, if you're not picky and have ten dollars to burn. I left feeling a little heavier, a little closer to the grave, but with enough sustenance to face another day of life's mundane cruelties. It wasn't the best meal I've ever had, but it was food, and that's usually good enough.
