Biscuits and Gravy or "SOS" as they call it.
Daniel B.

We took our Ernie to the groomer for a glow up and went to Middleboro for breakfast at Dave's Diner, a throwback to the good old days of homestyle cooking served up fast. Boy was my breakfast terrific if artery-clogging. Here's as fine a plate of Biscuits and Gravy as you'll find in these parts. The sausage gravy was smooth and peppery with lots of sausage and it was topping a fine buttermilk biscuit that had been buttered and grilled. The home fries accompanying were a bit (just) on the salty side but well seasoned otherwise with lots of pepper and the whole thing was served up by friendly, efficient waitstaff. Man, I'd go back anytime for this breakfast again!

Quality and service great, location is spectacular, worth it!

Absolute gem! Really cool, looking diner, but I ate outside because it's a perfect day. Great music, fantastic weight service, everything is clean and beautiful. Had a spectacular salad with steak tips, coffee, and side veg. Truly excellent.

Was looking for a place to meet a friend for dinner. I had been here several years ago and remembered it as a good place. It has the diner vibe that I love and frankly found nothing to complain about. Nice atmosphere, very clean, great server and a tasty meal. Chicken pot pie was the meal of choice and we both thought that it was excellent. Served with delicious mashed potatoes and a small cup jellied cranberries. It hit the spot. Recommend and will go back again.

Endless coffee!

The food was amazing! Husband and I both got omelets they were huge, red skin potatoes and 4 slices of toast! Come hungry leave full! Highly recommend!

Best food!! Breakfast of champions!!

This is the place to be! Top notch service and food with the 50's diner motif. Food is very delicious and the crew there is on point and friendly.

AWESOME PLACE ,,, Im an OTR ( over the road) long haul trucker , found lotta good reviews on Yelp of this place so I thought I'd give it a shot, at first it looked like,, oh no I drove into the wrong spot but around the back ( to the left ) of the building they have big truck parking and parking for campers ( not sure about overnight) a definite must stop for people that are out in the

Good breakfast and outstanding service by Ally & her waitress partner outside at Dave's. Not going to give it 5 stars because the Eggs Benedict was good not great. However I am definitely going to come back.

Poached?? Eggs and burnt potatoes.
Sid N.

I was served hard-boiled eggs that were supposed to be poached, and burnt potatoes. When I asked if they would take the eggs off the bill, they declined, saying that I had eaten them., but they offered to deduct the coffee. Since I had drunk the coffee, I declined the offer. The mgr was disappointed that I posted it, but I said "that's what the price of eggs gets you." Whatever happened to "I'm sorry. Let me make that right."? If you are a responsible person in the hospitality industry, you should be able to admit mistakes. Instead, she was argumentative.

There's usually a line at the door, but it moves rather quickly. Service is friendly and fast. Breakfast food is always good!

Food was bland and greasy. We were hoping for better based on the reviews. Went to Percy's yesterday and it was way better.

The space is intimate, and they decorate for holidays. The theme of the restaurants is planes, and the owner is frequently there to provide a personal experience. All in all I would recommend if you're looking for a hot meal, and a cold drink!

Harry's is wicked mental. This joint represents the apogee of the tavern bar n' grill experience…read more Virtually everything is mental here and on point from service, food, drinks, vibe, cleanliness, efficiency, etc. I wanna emphasize that normally I hhhh-h-haaaate the "tavern" scene but Harry's has no negatives AT ALL. Food is HOT n' FRESH AF. Everything is cooked to order and prices are wicked reasonable and there are specials to be had each day. The staff is VERY efficient and friendly as hell. Menu selection is diverse and best of all has no tree-hugger "healthy option" gluten-free vegan crap. This is serious food for level-three hangry eaters who welcome thunder thighs and kankles. The vibe is great and the wooden construction attenuates sound wicked good and makes it acoustically sensible. My One and I have been going here for quite some time. We have never had anything a SNAFU. Drinks are great and Devin was our waitress last night and she is absolutely wonderful. Be confident that the owners and staff clearly take pride in this establishment and always aim to please in all ways. The drink menu is fun and extensive with variants on margs and 'teenys, etc. All food and drinks are scrump AF. They also give you gigantor hot n' wet handcloth towels after the sowdown as the coup de gras. It's like being on JetBlue :) Peep it out! And yes, they have KEEN-O and scratch tix.

Whenever I come home to visit, stopping by isn't just an option--it is an absolute requirement. Even though I'm usually only home for about four days at a time, I end up eating there at least twice every single trip. It might sound like a lot, but once you taste it, you completely understand. The combination of their incredible, perfectly seasoned sauce and high-quality cheese creates a flavor profile that no one else can match. Couple that with their fire oven, which churns out an impeccably crispy, perfectly charred crust every single time, and you get pure perfection. They've been consistently serving up unbelievable food since I was a kid, and decades later, they still haven't missed a beat. If you haven't been, you're missing out!

One ordered the fried clams which also got great marks. My son ordered the lobster roll which was lobster salad, not big pieces of fresh lobster but probably from a can. He enjoyed it anyway. I got the surf and turf and the steak tips were overdone and tough. The four shrimp I believe were already breaded frozen not fresh. Our waitress Amanda was very efficient and friendly without buzzing over the table. We also had nachos and stuffed potato skins and the bill for four was only 260. Will be a little bit more careful with the menu exploring different dishes next time but we will be back. Thank you John and Amanda

Located next door to Dave's Diner on the same site, Dave's BBQ Bar opened recently in Middleboro…read more Under the same ownership, Dave's BBQ Bar, a seasonal business, opens at 2pm Wednesdays through Sundays after Dave's Diner next door closes for the day with some of the same Diner staff shifting over to the BBQ Bar afterwards. The same owners also operate Harry's Bar & Grille across the road. This seasonal open air covered restaurant & bar has a long full bar with high seating on each side with flatscreen TVs and patio table seating alongside the bar.  They also offer takeout and online ordering with a dedicated takeout and food order assembly area next to their food trailer, which is the kitchen.  The food menu offers BBQ (brisket, ribs, pulled pork), burgers, sandwiches, sides, Mac & cheese, Tex Mex plates, pitmaster chili, salads, appetizers, and soft serve ice cream treats. They also have a pizza oven, but the menu will be determined by next season. The pricing is fair here. I stopped by Dave's BBQ Bar for takeout early evening. The place was moderately busy already with the college football games on the TVs. I took a few moments to decide what I wanted. I went with the BBQ Beef Brisket ($20 plus tax) served with choice of sauce, 2 sides and corn bread. I also got a Texas Frito Pie ($9 plus tax), which was a large pitmaster chili with cheese, pico de gallo, jalapeños, sour cream cups and a small bag of Fritos. A staff member took my order over a tablet and I paid by card on the tablet. The total was $31.03 with tax and before takeout tip. It took about 15 minutes for my order to be ready. I checked my order before I left the property and discovered that one of the sides was incorrect giving me a farmhouse bean salad (corn & black beans) instead of Mac & cheese. I walked back into the takeout area with the farmhouse bean salad and the staff apologized for the mixup and gave me the side of mac & cheese and let me keep the farmhouse bean salad (extra side) at no charge.  I enjoyed my takeout dinner in a quiet park. The Large Chili was a bit messy which they really filled up well over the top after taking off the lid, can't complain about being generous. The brisket chili was really good and I mixed some Fritos in for crunch. The beef brisket portion was good, tender lean brisket, a bit dry smothered in a sweet Kentucky bourbon BBQ sauce. The Tex Mex rice was firm and a good side choice for the brisket. The Mac & cheese was very dense with lots of cheese and soft macaroni. The farmhouse bean salad was actually pretty good too, thanks Dave! Overall, I enjoyed my takeout dinner and this cool setup with the seasonal outdoor dining/bar area with food trailer and their year round Diner next door. Hopefully, they will have pizza on the menu next season, which I will try.
