BEWARE!!…read more my car died at the car wash and these guys were right next door, they told me my alternator is dead and that the battery harness needs to be changed. these guys charged me 1350 for a simple alternator change (WHICH WAS NOT NEEDED) then when I told him absolutely not that it's insane for that price, the guy "moe" or something, got super bummed out and said "you have to pay diagnostic fee -$250. I said "WHAT?!" This guy just checked it for probably 45ms and decided to still milk me after I told him no, then he calls me back 40m later saying he found a cheaper part for $900, embarrassing. My car died right there in the car wash when it happened so I felt like I had no choice. I just bite the bullet and paid him $200, plus a 10% fee for using card, very embarrassing. DO NOT GO HERE, THESE GUYS WILL RIP YOU OFF. Oh and I also got the car fixed by just cleaning my battery harness, no alternator changed needed.

I came from having experience with high prices from Midas and was immediately comforted with the down to earth staff and reasonable prices. I appreciate that they will always take my car and look at it to tell me the diagnosis rather quickly. However during 2022-2023 I felt like they overestimated the repairs and charged way too much. I feel like they no longer care about the customers best interest, they will flatly ask a repair cost that's double the cost of the car and act like they don't care if you can't afford it. Everything to them is "necessary". I feel like they aren't real anymore. Also the repair quality itself has gone down as my control arm all of a sudden "failed". I have a 17 year old car that is 150k miles. I am no stranger to getting it repaired. I believe that a car that is taken care of will take care of you. Where I take it matters, and unfortunately I no longer can rationalize taking it here. It's disappointing to spend that much money at a shop and for them not to even remember you. I'm not sure what management is doing but it is not the same shop it was just a few years ago.

She ended up getting a 2nd opinion and they confirmed that her tires and brakes were fine and they confirmed that Jeep will cover that suspension issue. D & R also kept the $107 to try to rob her of things she didn't need. Now she's going to another place that is 20-25 minutes away that were honest to her. This is my first time ever feeling the need to give a business a review. I took my car in to get…read morethe power steering lines replaced. I picked up my car right before closing. The next morning I noticed a bracket sticking out the top of my hood. To my surprise it was a bracket that holds down the power steering lines. After realizing they forgot to reinstall it, I took a closer look around where the work was performed. The front right wheel well/bumper was missing a clip and flapping in the wind. There is also a splash bracket missing. All these items are parts that had to be removed in order to put the new power steering lines in. I fixed the rest of the issues myself. When I called to ask the manager if they had the missing bracket his response was "we have master mechanics here and any bracket that we take off we put back on." Well attached are the photos... I sent an email as well to see if they had the missing bracket but no response. My power steering does work fine, but everything else being wrong/missing doesn't give me peace of mind. Based on other reviews this family business, with a good reputation, was sold and a lot of the good mechanics left. I wish I had read that before taking my car there. Edited based on owners response below: You can see the two circled bolts where the missing bracket was. About 1 inch above where the bracket was is the power steering lines that were replaced. By saying "You emailed pictures of the bracket and it is not in the area we worked on" is clearly not true. It 100% needs to be removed to access the lines. It just goes to show this place will not take any blame for anything and is dishonest. I never received a call/email back after I emailed the photos. Take my car back to get looked at? No thank you. I fixed all the incorrect work myself. It's not even about the missing bracket, I already replaced it. The company's response and how they handled this situation goes to show how they are unapologetic and constantly deny something possibly could have gone missing.
