Had Mr. Kerr come out to Paoli for requested service on our front door. Took the time to get absolutely everything we needed complete. Worked with us to fix everything. A great experience. Would highly recommend. Very knowledgeable and great value. read more

Great service, fast appointments and great prices!! Call dave with your locksmith needs!

I was wanting a 2022 Bronco Sport key cut and programed. He didn't do it and recommended another who also couldn't do it. Turns out I have to go to the dealer. Dave did his best to help me and I used him before to make a key for my motorcycle which worked perfectly. Thank You Dave. read more

Dave is skilled, professional, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him and would use his services again. Thank you, Dave!

Dave was quick, professional and reasonably priced. I would use him again in the future.

Dave did an excellent job at a very reasonable price. He was delayed at the anticipated time, but he kept in touch and corrected all our problems. I would hire him again in a heartbeat. read more

We needed locks changed on a front door of a condo that my son bought. We had the best experience we have ever had hiding someone with Dave. He went out of his way to get to us to get the job done late in the day. He even did some extras for us without charging. I was so impressed. It is the way customer service should be these days. If I ever have any more lock issues he would be the only 1 that I would call. Great business and super friendly!! read more

My husband and I had this project on our to-do list for the 3+ years we've owned our Highlands duplex. Come to find out, it could be fixed in less than 30 minutes for roughly $75. The project: fixing the lock on our front door. I know, that sounds basic, but the lock looked several decades old, with the key worn down and not reliably locking and unlocking -- it's whole purpose in life. Plus the key was so old that you can't easily make copies. So we've been either entering via the other unit (while empty) or our back door. And considering the other issues we've had with our 100-year-old house, we figured this was going to be a big hassle to fix. Enter: procrastination. Well, this week I had had enough. So I sent out a few Request A Quotes via Yelp, and Dave Kerr Locksmith Service was one of the local businesses that answered. Dave asked me to text him pics of the lock and key. Based on this he said he thought the cylinder needs to be fixed, which comes with two keys. He gave me a quote of $78 on the spot (which was in line with the other quotes I got). And then 36 hours after submitting a Request A Quote on Yelp, he was at my house, working on my door, which was fixed in less than 30 minutes, with new modern keys that we can easily make copies of. I can't believe we didn't take care of this project sooner. I chose Dave because he was so quick to respond, easy to converse with via text and was transparent and in line with his pricing. Other companies wanted to come out to give a free estimate first, rather than trying to diagnose via pics. I get where they are coming from, but Dave just made this too easy. It was also nice knowing that he has more than 30 years experience as a locksmith. The ease of this project makes me eager to get more things done around my house. read more

Outstanding work! He is trustworthy and reliable. Fast service , last minute. Best prices that you can find. Highly recommend

Dave recently replaced old lock sets that required more expertise than I could provide. He did a fine job and charged a fair price. I recommend him highly for any locksmith work.. read more

Mr. Kerr is professional and knows his job. A super nice man. And he doesn't try to push anything on his customer. Came the same day I contacted him and told me he could fix my door lock and save me the expense of a new one but I chose to obtain a new lock. He also keyed the lock for an old key of mine. He planed the door frame so the door closes better. He is definitely deserving of the high ratings he has. Highly recommend. read more

Top notch service at a great price. Dave was very friendly and punctual, and paid attention to Covid concerns - very important for someone working in your home. Dave repaired a sticky entry knob on my front door and extracted a broken key from the deadbolt in the back door. The price he charged was exactly what he estimated when we spoke on the phone, so he gets top marks for transparency. I had him cut me new keys that all work perfectly, and he even charged less than the terrible reproductions I had made at a big box store. But most importantly, he was honest: it would've been very easy for him to say that my old locks were insecure, or say that repairs would cost more than a replacement and go for an easy upsell. I don't know the first thing about locks, after all! But he didn't - he said my locks were quality and likely had years of service left. I'll definitely be Dave's customer from now on, and I'll be recommending him to anyone who needs a locksmith. read more

I said it before and I'll say it again. Dave Kerr is awesome and I highly recommend. We used him over a year ago to re-key my sister's house, and I had him re-key my house this week. I had David cut two keys for a fire king safe. He did it quickly and correctly at a reasonable price. I then had David put new locks on my fifty year old storm doors. I could not find the locks at a local hardware store but he had both replaced within a week with matching keys. I would recommend David and I will be using him for my future locksmith needs. read more
