It is great. If you like hiking, there are hiking guides in the bookcase, but also stop at the Forest Service office in Libby and get their free trail guides. Get some topo maps if you want to go hiking. The cabin has complete linens, dishes, silverware and utensils, so just bring food and toys. The grill is gas, so you don't need charcoal. If any of you "woodsy" folks want to introduce your "city" friends to the great outdoors, this is the best place to start.

Ice capped peaks as far as the eye can see, some glaciers, lakes a waterfalls can be viewed. Easily one of the top helicopter rides we've been on. The reservation process is a bit tricky and played by ear. You get an initial confirmation then a second confirmation the night before. We were able to book the day before and they were very accommodating. The weather is highly variable in Glacier Park and understandably they may have to cancel depending on the weather. However it worked out for us.

Our pilot was amazing, knowledgeable, and didn't take risks (which I appreciated!). We did the one hour tour, I think the half hour would be way too short. We were so happy to see the glaciers, waterfalls and other sights you just cannot get to in the park. We had no problems with our reservation, or the directions for getting there. If the weather is bad, they will cancel for safety reasons, so we were blessed with beautiful weather. A must do.

Had all the equipment we needed to stay warm on a chilly day with scattered showers. Taught us everything we needed to know to navigate the waters safely. Provided some great shopping, dining, and hiking recommendations. And all the tour guides were lowkey comedians who should consider riffing some of their jokes off at a comedy club's open mic night. Selkirk Powder refused any accommodation for out of state individuals who got stranded out of state…read moreduring insane winter flight cancellation issues where 90% of all flights into the area were cancelled. The thing is, there was still several days left for them to cancel and refill the slot on the snowmobile trip during a holiday week. I wasn't asking for a refund, I was asking for a credit to be utilized within one year. Be warned that they stick with some inane 45 day cancellation policy in an area that is prone to bad weather. If you live out of state, they are not worth booking an excursion with. I absolutely do not recommend this company.

My wife and I had a great afternoon on the downtown food tour. We are locals, but had never been to…read moreany of the restaurants or shops that were on the tour. However, we have been back to a couple of them since, and had a great experience. The tour host, Tim, did a great job of leading the tour, explaining the food we were going to be sampling, and providing stories about the businesses and Coeur d'Alene in general. It was nice to get together with a group of people we had never met, and share the experience of trying something new. I would recommend this tour for anyone looking to just spend an enjoyable afternoon trying out some great places to eat.
