The biggest issue I had was the lack of a microwave. When I'm on the road, a fridge and microwave are a pretty big deal so I can reheat meals or save costs a bit by being able to fix and hest meals in room instead of constantly having to eat out... especially if im staying a week or more, which was the case of my stay this trip. This was a first time for all of us at this motel, and I'll start off by saying we'd definitely stay here again despite a few shortcomings. Dell, the gentleman who checked us in, was quite friendly and helpful. The room was situated off the main road and was pleasantly quiet. The room is fairly spacious, easily accommodating the king-size bed and two night stands, fridge, dresser & desk, love seat and coffee table. Shower/toilet area small with fan providing only ventilation. Nice shower head. Both tub and sink were slow-draining, and my bath towel smelled like cigarettes despite the room designation as "non smoking". I guess the person servicing the room is a smoker. Vanity is a reasonable size, and was outfitted with a wall-mount hair drier and a generous supply of towels. Included in the vanity area were a microwave and a12-cup coffeemaker (with bagged ground coffee & filters). Free WiFi and TV are also included A "full breakfast" is included with the room charge -- will report on that after we try it in the morning.

I called the front desk and made my reservations a few weeks ago, while making the room reservations I gave the lady at the front desk a card number, even asked if a business credit card was ok to use if it didnt have MY name one it. Was reassured that this was fine.... All was excepted at the counter, went to bed and was awaken, at 2 IN THE MORNING, by the front desk to inform me that I needed to produce a card with my name on it or leave!!! (If I had another option at 2 in the fricken morning, I would have just left!) I really hope that not all of their guests have been lied to at check in and awaken at 2 IN THE MORNING, to be treated like this!!!! ESPECIALLY AFTER THE QUESTION WAS ADRESSED AT TIME OF RESERVING THE ROOM!!!!!
