My family of 4 stayed here 7/3/25- 7/9/25. First off every day we was here we didn't recive any room cleaning services. (new towels, soap, empty the trash cans, refill toilet paper, ect.), When we went to the front desk to get new towels we was told we could only get 2 towels. Only 2 towels when they know there is 4 people in our room. Very frustrating! This place wasn't even busy according to how empty the parking lot was (picture taken below), you would think they would have plenty of time to clean all there occupied rooms. Another problem we had was breakfast. It was served 6am to 11am daily. But every day we was there, we went down to get breakfast and they was always out of everything. Sometimes no juice, or yogurt, almost every day out of sausage patties, and cheese omelets. the bread was constantly out. How was they always out of breakfast things when there was hardly anyone staying there? They always had coffee though. Manager Josh has to go! On Saturday 7/5/25 we was in our room planning to take our grandkids who live in town, across the street to the Fireman's park to the splash pad. It was a hot day so we figured what a great idea. My family who lives in town came in to let us know they was here to meet with us so we could walk over together, and Josh met them at the front door and told them we couldn't have visitors at the motel or they would charge us over 200 extra dollars to have visitors due to how many people would be in the room because it was a fire hazard. UM, OK, let me get this straight, because I don't get it. 4 people are only allowed in the room due to it is a fire hazard, but it will be ok to have visitors in our room if we pay over 200 dollars more. Wow!!! I would love to know what qualifies Josh to be a manager of this place? If anyone knows Josh's manager or the Owners of this place please let him/her/them know about these problems. Other than the manager issues, the breakfast offered, or should I say hardly any breakfast at all they offered, and house keeping we never recived. But the rest of the staff was very nice. About the room, this place took an old motel and placed some new modernized features to make it look good and newer than what it was. They don't even have coffee makers in the rooms. We had to go inconveniently to the lobby down stairs anytime we wanted a cup of coffee. The in room refrigerator door was hard to open and the door rubbed on the carpet because it wasn't leveled right. With the floor. Due to the problems during our stay with the manager's issues , no room cleaning services, and no breakfast items, we don't recommend staying here and won't be back in the future. I should have noticed the ratings on here before booking and read some reviews. This place and the Venture across the street have the worst ratings in Libby. Maybe even the same owners. When we visit in the future we will take our business to the neighboring motels (The Caboose, Sandman, or the Evergreen motels) on our next future visits. These old mom and pop motels better step up there game and get it together and figured out (get rid of manager's like Josh, and re-train there staff to fill there breakfast items and clean occupied guests rooms ect.) by the time the chain company Comfort Inn and Suites gets built or they might be out of business! Libby is growing and I'm sure there will be more hotels to come. This business don't even deserve the 1 star raiting I gave them but had to at least give them a 1 star rating to post a review. read more

This is a cozy hotel in Libby, MT. I didn't take pictures in our room but it was comfy and had a home like feel. We had our own mini fridge and microwave as well as coffee maker in our room, but there is also access to more in the guest room, a full kitchen pretty much. Staff is kind and helpful. read more

The manager has a loud barking dog that started barking at about 05:00, the doors are paper thin and you hear ever sound in the hallway as if its in your room. The breakfast area shared a wall with are room and people were in there until 00:30 and back in at 05:30 blasting the tv. The ac didn't work so the room was so hot. Do not stay here read more

Have respect for Veterans on Veterans Day. Fire the manager Josh asap. Teach new employees to treat clients with respect not rudness. NEVER STAYING AGAIN, DONT WASTE UR TIME OR DIME ON THIS PLACE. NO I DO NOT RECOMMEND So apon checking in, was given the 5th degree about our service dog. The manager Josh, asked why and what her service was. I couldn't even finish explaining before being rudely being cut off. All while Richard is making side comments. We actually enjoyed this hotel at one point, but Richard was right. They have changed, to point of no manners, crap customer service and the manager who needs more training then available. Yes this all happened on Veterans day too. Josh and Richard should be completely ashamed of themselves. Also besides the rooms looking old and run down, having someone mess with our TV all evening, was not ok. It turned off every 15 to 30mins. The remote had poop or chocolate on it and chair looked like some peed in it. Very very unpleasant stay and far from restful. Only pleasant staff was the morning ladies and leaving. Also if untrained and dirty dogs are allowed, why was my quiet, trained and clean dog such a huge deal, when this place is advertised as 'Pet friendly'. read more

Don't stay here unless you want to be accused of theft!!! Me, my wife, and my 5month old son were settling in to bed I looked around for the tv remote but couldn't find it. Not making a big deal about it we just decided we were okay and we'd just put something on our phone for our son to fall asleep to (white noise) or any noise at this point. It had been a long day of traveling and visiting family. As any parent would know how fussy babies get when they are tired and they get passed around all day and in and out of the car seat. At this time we didn't know it was our job to find and locate the remote as well as advise the hotel that the remote was missing. We were more concerned with getting our son to sleep after a long day on the road and visiting family in the area. I was born and raised in Lincoln county. Where having a back bone, manners, and respect is common virtues to a man. I'm not a thief nor is my wife and damn sure my kid isn't I mean he can barley hold his head up. Also I live on the road, I travel on the road I travel for work. I don't have a need for a tv remote. Because I stay at hotels that keep track of the belongings and don't falsely accuse the tenant for doing something they have no proof of. So Country INN if you want to accuse me over your cheap ass remote missing. I'll pay your 40 dollars but think twice before you charge the people that aren't the thieves. I didn't know it was my job to keep track of your belongings. Did you ever think once that maybe it got lost from the last tenant or maybe it was picked up in the sheets and was accidentally washed. That's if they even get washed we all know how the cheap hotels operate. So Country Inn you will not be receiving my family's business again. I thought respect and honor were how small towns worked but apparently. People that run business like yours are what's killing towns that once thrived. To all travelers that do find themselves stuck with this place as a decision. Make sure when you check in to your room to make sure remotes, towels, pillows, etc are all there. Decided to come visit family last minute and snagged a room same day. Front desk was so friendly, they give out free cookies and even told us to take extras. Plus they have breakfast 24 hours! Our air conditioner didn't work but with the window open it was still cool enough to sleep. And they do have smart TVs. We will stay here again for sure! read more

Stayed here on a road trip for 2 nights. This place really is a hidden gem. Clean rooms and very friendly staff. They also have a 24 hours breakfast bar and free bottles of water. The breakfast bar was awesome and had good food! They even have a waffle maker. They also have a full kitchen if you would like to cook. A laundry service is offered for $5 if you would like your laundry done. I will definitely be staying here again if I visit Libby. read more

We stayed here with our two dogs for a short getaway. The hospitality is off the charts! Everyone was so nice. There were delicious, fresh-baked cookies at the front desk and treats for our dogs! You absolutely cannot beat 24hr breakfast! And no, it's not just fruit and cereal. There's waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs and more. Our room was clean and comfy. Beware!! The room you reserve may not be the one you get. Our family members reserved a room with two queen beds because they are older and may had had additional family members accompany them. When they arrived after the local rodeo (at about 11pm), they were told by the desk clerk that their room was not available as reserved because the clerk had given it to someone else. The clerk didn't think that they needed 2 beds for only two people and even though they did in fact have another couple with them there were no other rooms available that would even accommodate roll away beds. NO APOLOGY FROM THE DESK CLERK OR ANYHING. Since there were no other rooms at other motels (the rodeo was in town), they were forced to drive home to Bonners Ferry at 11:30 at night. These people are in their mid to late 70's and driving at night for them is hard and with all the animals on the road at that time dangerous for them as well. We have stayed there several times and had several other relatives stay there but with this issue, we will gladly pay extra and stay at the Venture Inn across the street if this is the way they treat people now. read more

First, Bentley the young woman who checked us in is absolutely pleasant, so helpful all-around cheery! So helpful and just down-to-earth NICE! The hotel is currently going thru a facelift the rooms are CLEAN, roomy with microwave and coffeemaker. Second, the towels were surprisingly COMFY and thick, NOT the usual plain white generic see-through towels. The towels were plush and GREEN! The beds were firm as well as the pillows! Lastly, an all day available breakfast area, ALL DAY PEOPLE! Waffles, biscuits & gravy, egg omelets, sausage as well as cereal, bread and a variety of bagels! STEER CLEAR! Very rude people and they are running a scam. We booked rooms and they give them away. They refused to give us a refund after we paid up front for rooms and our family was separated and given additional costs and cots instead of the beds we paid for. The facilities are run down and the BBQ/ picnic area is broken and unusable. We ended up going across the street to the campground instead (highly recommended). The staff (who was great other than the crooked thief owner) was embarrassed as well as the wonderful people of the town of Libby. The staff and neighbors admitted that they often run this scam and get away with it. The rooms were filthy and not clean or as advertised. As a Montana life long resident, I felt that they should not get away with this. The fantastic people that we met in this wonderful town all had a story and a knowing face of shame for this sham of a business that is being run from this hotel. Please, spend your money in one of the other beautiful business that are in this gorgeous town of amazing people. read more

The Country Inn really lives up to its marquee. "Warm Smiles and Warm Beds". Janelle was working at the front desk and she was very accommodating to our group. She went above and beyond to help us out and it made me believe that she will do that for every guest. The continental breakfast had many options offered in a serve yourself environment, but there was always staff nearby to assist if necessary. The beds were comfy and the rooms were very clean. This might be the best hotel in Libby, but that's not saying much. I'm definitely disappointed with the service. The rooms are small. I think they turned off my A/C, probably because I was running it all day. I travel a lot and this is the first hotel I've been to in a long time that did not have a Flat Screen or HD television in the room. The breakfast is pathetic. They didn't make my bed or empty my trash, but thank you so much for replacing my towels. WTF? I moved over here from the Venture Inn, because I was disappointed there as well. Next time I'm working in Libby, I'm either staying in Kalispell or Sandpoint. read more
