We have had Dave and Harry's come out 3 times to simply adjust the locks on the door so that we could lock it both with a deadbolt and a night latch. We discovered after the second the visit that the door would not even stay closed, even without attempting to lock it. After the third visit, we found that the deadbolt would not align. When we called after the second failure, the receptionist told us that a technician would not be able to come out until late September. We did persuade them to come out that day, after many angry words, but we are still not able to lock. Somehow, the repairman got it to work before he left, but after he left we were not able to get the door closed and locked. read more

I got a cabinet key and one person said two $3 each, so I went in another day so I got two keys, it cost me $34, I ain't got Math but somebody added a zero, will never go there again and they acted like it was a fair price, LOL I would advise all of you to go to Amazon and get it two keys for $7 read more

This locksmith does not work on French Doors. My French doors have a deadbolt which has frozen and will not disengage.

I have recently used Dave & Harry Locksmiths three times. First, to help make a key to a locked desk drawer. Second, to remove decorative plates around our front door knobs and third, to fix the front door latch which wasn't locking properly. Was quoted $4 over the phone to have a car key duplicated, but once I got to the shop they tried to upsell me on key fob programming services. After declining those services, they changed the price to $10. I was in a hurry so I went ahead and paid it, but I won't be returning because apparently their prices are just whatever they feel like charging. At least the key worked. read more

Very friendly and helpful staff. We went in to have a spare car key made, thinking we would have to pay for programming a transponder. Turns out, the dealership had mislead us... there was no transponder in our key all along! Dave & Harry cut us a new key for very cheap. They even re-cut the spare we had ordered online - we thought the eBay spare didn't work because it wasn't programmed: turns out it was just cut improperly elsewhere. They were sooo helpful and very speedy after I locked my keys in my car. I think it was 69 bucks, which seems reasonably priced to me.

They retrieved a broken key from a car roof top carrier in less than 30 minutes. The price to do that was reasonable. Thumbs up!

These folks have wonderful service. I have been having trouble with my Camry keyfob, and they have provided new batteries for several years. The car is 10 years old, and I asked the service-person there if I need a new fob (which would be a $370 sale for them, though much more at the Camry dealer). She told me that they often do wear out before 10 years, but that mine is transmitting. She suggested that I have the car checked out first, to determine whether it is receiving the signal properly. I really appreciated her honesty and integrity. They may have lost a sale, but gained a customer for life. read more
