Been coming the last few years and I've never had too many complaints besides sometimes the bathroom being a little gross. Games are always fun, sometimes the cars readers can be broken but only a few games are down. My fiancé and I had many dates at this location. Once in a while the games have been swapped out or new things have been added. Every time i ask for water if we are just playing games, staff is always nice and willing to give some. What's not to love? Food? Games? A great time? Love it! read more

I'd give Dave & Buster's a 5 star since my kids had fun during my son's 10th birthday but because of an unfortunate experience with a staff member named Maria (she has pink hair) I couldn't make myself give it a perfect rating. She ruined it. I was even considering giving it less than 3 stars because of her attitude but that would be unfair for Vicky who assisted us during the party who was so pleasant and the 2 managers as well. I just wish they talk to Maria because she was very rude. I went up to one of the managers because our unlimited play cards weren't working, he radioed someone at the arcade area to help us and asked me to go ahead as someone will be waiting for us. that's when Maria came along. She tried our card on the "blue" colored games (which will give you the unlimited play), it did not work. And with an attitude she already said "well it's not working there, you saw what it says". I tried to explain that we had an unlimited play but she cut me off and she said i had no credit. I tried to explain again but she again cut me off. That's when I said, "hold on, you need to calm down. You're being rude." And she replied with an even ruder attitude "well I told you 3 times and you're not listening". I said "you could say it nicely" and she said "oh well" and walks away. I was completely in shock and it was right in front of my kid and another child we were with. My child told me after that Maria has been very mean to him even before that encounter. I came back to the manger and the manager helped us, they had to restart our cards which made it all work. I shared my concern to the managers and they apologized and said they'll handle it. I just really wish they would. I'm writing this while I'm at Dave and Buster because of how flabbergasted I am of her attitude. But anyway, the other aspects were great. She just really ruined the experience for me. If it was her alone, it would definitely be a 1 star rating. read more

We're here on a Monday my 5 yr old I. We are having a blast in a pretty chill space ( not overly crowded) . We even decided to have dinner here( they have a special when you purchase a play combo it gives you an entree for $4.99. We got a simple burger and fries, with an order of wings ( $1 per wing). Or server Drew was of excellent service he was so attentive and even changed my order after he put it in. Drew had no problem, very polite and well mannered. I don't mind patronizing this kind of business when I get excellent customer service. Thanks Drew read more

Judge this place as a venue for entertainment and drinks and it would serve its purpose with flying colors. There are countless TVs tuned in on any major sport. They have 2 bars, one located in the middle of the gaming section and the other by the TV section. I have had their food here - and they do offer happy hour, so its great for your wallet. Im torn about the service here, they do have bussers, waiters and bar tenders, but it seems like they are only designated to do their jobs. Overall, its a great place to watch your favorite sport while sipping drinks and fraternizing with friends. read more

It's a great place to hang out. When the rest of the mall closes, this place stays open. It's also an awesome place to get some drinks, get some food, catch a game on the big screen, and play some games. Happy hour is wonderful!!! On certain nights, it is crazy with live DJs in the mix. I wouldn't really necessarily play the games since it's mostly redemption games and interactive games. There is a lack of traditional arcade games and rhythm games. read more

Not sure why there are such low reviews, it's been awhile since I've been here and lots has improved. We came here for games on a Sunday and all the games were half off points. So you get more play for your buck! Pretty much all of the games were working and there were so many! We didn't eat here but we did order drinks and they were great. Service was fast and friendly. They also greet you very enthusiastically! Overall, such a fun environment to hang out in. It was pretty clean too! read more

Sometimes the best part of an experience isn't just the games - it's the people. Our group of seven walked into Dave & Buster's Milpitas 07/04/2026 expecting a fun night, but we were completely surprised when a group that had already finished playing gifted us seven unlimited game cards - one for each of us. That simple act of kindness instantly made our day. The staff greeted us with genuine warmth, and the positive atmosphere made the entire visit even more enjoyable. We spent hours competing with each other like we were kids again, laughing nonstop and making memories we'll be talking about for a long time. I also have to give a shoutout to my bestie Amy, who was somehow good at every single game. I started the night feeling confident... and ended it just a little jealous. Okay, maybe very jealous. To keep the good vibes going, we decided to pay it forward. Before leaving, we passed those unlimited game cards along to other kids and guests so they could enjoy the same unexpected surprise we received. Kindness is contagious, and this place reminded us of that. Great staff, great atmosphere, and an unforgettable night. We'll absolutely be back. Highly recommend with my utmost respectful gratitude! read more

Definitely not the same as it used to be. The times I've come through, the dining areas have been pretty bare. It's hard when the D&B is huge. Went to have a beer and chips while I waited for my kid. Service is fairly quick since I was sitting at the bar by myself so they came over pretty quick. Otherwise, I have a feeling it's hard to flag people over. The place is as loud as you'd expect for a bar and arcade. Earplugs were super helpful if you're sensory. If you're really are sensitive to sensory things, this is not the place for you. Guac was not that good. Tasted artificial and was still pretty cold. Chips were great though. read more

If you want to play games and bring the kids I suggest Wednesday. The gripe is with the inability to add specific amounts to game cards at the kiosks. Minimum $25 at a kiosk and of course it's always trying to upsell for only $4 you get a $32 value!!!! Which is fine but if I just want to put a $20 and hang out for 15 minutes I have to go to the main desk where there's always somebody trying to schedule a birthday or lodging some other form of complaint and there's only one staff member working the front desk. Once the people have their issue resolved a lot of times the staff member will just walk away while I'm clearly standing in line wanting help. They seem very agitated that I ask them to add $20 rather than just dropping $25 into the kiosk. I still go on Wednesdays occasionally but it's not a tradition. They certainly don't seem to care either. read more

Came on Sunday when games were half off so it's way more worth it. We usually go on off days and we use our credits up really fast. I suggest going when games are half off since you get more bang for your bucks. Download the app since you can rack up points pretty quick for free play, food, and discounts. We got hungry and decided to eat here and the food was decent. We sat near the game area which is first come first serve. I may say the fish and chips were really good. The fish was flakey and batter was light like a tempura. Fries were mid and the coleslaw was yummy. Wish it was a bigger size slaw. As for prizes it's ok nothing crazy unless you have thousands of credits. read more

I came on a Saturday around noon for a birthday party, we were in party room 3 which is a nice big room with tables. The host had ordered a spread of food. It was fun to eat then go back and play games etc. I ordered vodka soda cranberry from the bar tender and he was always super fast and efficient! Around 1:30,2 it started to get busier! YAYYY! Here celebrating my S/O 30th birthday and I have to give a shout out to Steven and Adrian for helping make this birthday a fun one! The room was spacious and the tables were sophisticatedly well put together! We enjoyed the food that our group got which was the Grill city banquet! Didn't think that Dave and Buster's had fire food but it was delicious! Couple of the guests mentioned how juicy the chicken and ribs were, and how filling the side dishes were! That mac n cheese gooone! lol In our party package we added 1 complimentary alcoholic drink for each adult for a flat rate of $12 per person! I would say it's worth! In addition, I got game cards for about 12 people who were serious bout playing the arcade games, which was about $32 for each game card. Tbh logistically, I would say having a birthday get together with 20 + ppl and a large room for 3 hours with food (and extra leftovers) is WORTH IT! Definitely come to D&B to celebrate uour next party! P.S. it would have been supah cool if the projecter screen had karaoke! guests were wanting to have some fun music in the room and doing karaoke haha! read more

Came here in a Tuesday night and had a real great time. I don't know why I thought most of the games would be out of order, but it was the total opposite. Everything worked which was a plus and there was so many games to play. From basketball connect four, Pac-Man on a big screen, bowling, etc... The team was very friendly and welcoming. The location is very spacious and the food was ok. We ordered the Cantina nachos was were ok. The nacho sauce was overwhelming and caused most of the chips to be real soggy. The sliders were very disappointing and were nothing special. Overall D&B is a great place to come have fun, but wouldn't recommend the food. read more

The food here is clearly frozen and then refried. The mozzarella stick was embarrassing. Biting into it I was excited for the cheese pull. Even fresh out, the "cheese" was a 2eird brittle and crumbly texture. It feels like it contains more fillers and additives than cheese...if there's any real cheese in it at all. Chicken tenders are overly battered. Also frozen. Chicken wings were ok. Sauce is good lemon pepper was the best. The buffalo wings have a nice kick to them. But again, frozen. The lighting inside the private party rooms is dim and dreary. I think it's probably to make adjusting to the screens of the games less jarring. But it's definitely not a very warm or welcoming feeling inside. Great place to socialize and play games. Terrible place to eat. read more

It's been years since my last visit to Dave & Buster's, but I remembered it as a solid spot for food, drinks, and games with friends. Because of those past experiences, I was actually pretty excited to come back. We sat down for dinner first, and honestly... it was just okay. The food was pretty pricey for the quality. Nothing was bad, but it definitely didn't live up to how I remembered it. That said, our server was nice, friendly, and attentive, which helped the experience a bit. After eating, I grabbed a new power card and was ready to play. I did like seeing some newer games added since my last visit, but it was disappointing to find that around 20-30% of the games weren't functioning. That kind of takes away from the excitement, especially when you're there mainly to play. I was also surprised by how expensive the games were. Most plays were around 7-9 points each, which adds up fast. Maybe I used to come on half-off Wednesdays and just don't remember, but the value definitely felt different this time around. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, but it also didn't live up to the Dave & Buster's I remembered. With how much everything costs now, there are definitely other places around that offer a better eat-and-play experience these days. read more

This particular outing was quite confusing!! Perhaps it was because we went on a Sunday or maybe there's new staff getting trained?! My son, and his two cousins bought the package where you get credits for playing games as well as a free dinner within the price of 25 or $30. As we made the order, the receipt did not print out so we had to flag down a manager to make sure we got the special code/reservation number for the restaurant portion of the games. The manager printed out the receipt and everything was fine. Yet an hour later, when we went to the restaurant, we sat at a table for a good 20 minutes before our server ever came. Thank goodness, my son and his cousins hadn't seen each other for a while so they were able to play catch-up! I was kind of annoyed , since I was hungry, but we patiently waited. Finally, our server came and we ordered drinks and food all at the same time. The server had no idea how to do our order with the code/deal we bought on their system. So he had to find a manager to help him. He couldn't put in our order for quite some time and it literally took us 45 minutes to get our food!! At this time I was starving, and we saw two people that came in before us leave!! They finished their food and got their bill. But they were also in a different section so once again, maybe it was just our server who didn't know what to do? Overall, our service took 90 minutes to get food and finish as you can see we got a flatbread, pizza, wings, and french fries, along with two beers for the adults. I'm not sure what's going on, but I was not very happy with the service here whatsoever so next time, I'll just order at the bar without my son or eat somewhere else! Lol read more

Came here for a kids birthday party and it was nice. Kids definitely had fun and ended up winning 1000 tickets. Food at the party was okay. I ended up staying after the party and unfortunately the service outside in the game area sucked. Overall, one of the last good arcades around that I know of. Better than Chuck E Cheese and sadly better than Golfland (which I spent countless hours at as a kid). THE ARCADE ° Has a nice variety of games, not all gotcha games. ° Minecraft is one of my boys favorite games. ° At the end, you have enough tickets for something decent, or you can save your card for the next time. ° Loading or reloading credits is easy at the payment stations. THE RESTAURANT ° Just stopped to feed the kids. Got the chezburger and mac n cheese. - Cheeseburger was pretty good along with the fries and for a decent price. - Mac n Cheese is offensively BAD. I'd take Kraft Mac n Cheese over this abomination. ° Service was good though! All the ladies were very nice and quick. read more

A few weeks ago a friend and I had a really disappointing experience at this location. I usually expect the food to be standard bar fare, but the service we received was unacceptable. To start, our food took almost 45 minutes to come out after we ordered, and that was for my friends food, mine was well past that. The place wasn't even busy, so I don't understand the delay. When the food finally did arrive, it was mediocre at best, but that wasn't even the biggest issue. Our server was completely inattentive. They hardly ever stopped by the table. We actually had to flag them down just to get my friends drink as well as remind them of my order, and to ask for an update on where the food was as we noticed tables seated after us with a few more people were getting their orders. Our sever had four or five tables, that's including us. They continued to attend to the somewhat larger parties while other servers were clearly checking in on their respective tables. It was a bit frustrating to watch them check-in on other tables regularly while we were clearly forgotten in the section. Making matters worse, when I placed my order for nachos, I specifically asked for no jalapenos. When they arrived, there were some chopped pieces near the bottom of the dish. I had to pick them off, but by the time I got to the bottom of the plate, the chips were somewhat soggy, so I just stopped eating. My friend ordered a plate of nachos as well, the only difference was that his order had chicken and jalapenos. His complaint was that there was hardly any chicken and that the queso used for the nachos had no flavor and seemed to be a bit watery. At the end of the meal, we paid for our food and left. We're not going to be rushing back anytime soon. read more

I hate to give bad reviews but a problem will never change if it's not acknowledged and taken care of. My friends and I get sat down to watch the niners game with a reservation. We see a woman server helping a table in front of us but doesn't acknowledge us so we assume she isn't our server. We wait 15 minutes with no water or menus but see her and a few other servers/food runners/managers walk by us. I finally ask a random sever who kept passing us if he knew who our server was. He tells me he's our server and asks us what we want to order. Mind you we don't have menus. So we ask for menus and waters. Waters come back in 10 minutes, finally we order our food and drinks. Server never checked on us while eating but only did when we were finished and only drinking beer. No enthusiasm on this guy, seemed like he didn't want to be there, and no sense of urgency. I would keep seeing the woman server talk to her table and actually engage in conversations. She seemed what I'd want my server to be, attentive, friendly, and smiling. So shout out her. I get it, when sports games are on and parties sit at a table for 3-4 hours barely ordering anything taking away high potential tips from severs, I can see why some servers will serve at minimal effort assuming their tables won't order a lot or tip on top of their bills. Unfortunately, thats a losing mentality and the hospitality industry isn't for you. Luckily, His name is David and he still got a 20% tip from us. Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone wanting to watch a game here especially if that's the type of service DNB employees provide. read more

TLDR: Convenient for games and food, but not enjoyable for the food. - - - - - - This was my first (and maybe last) time at Dave & Buster's for a birthday party, and it was quite fun. There were many packages to reload the card, and for four hours, our group of 15 adults went off happily with the highest option, supercharged. (Yes, it was enough.) We started off with a classic - DDR. It wasn't too clear how to make it two player or the amount of games available. With Speed of Light, apparently the two player option was down, and some additional machines inside were also broken. They did allow us to combine our points for a prize later though, so yay! After games, we went for dinner, and the food alright - classic American. We ordered many appetizers to share, and I had the Crispy Chicken sandwich. The Crispy Chicken sandwich was alright, a tad lukewarm. The fries that came along with it were edible but not enjoyable. Between the appetizers, none of them were remarkable. Towards the end, we celebrated with a chocolate cake with toasted marshmallow but were directed to swipe our gift cards ourselves. This was especially confusing because customers aren't always familiar with these machines, and the instructions weren't clear. Paying took about 20 minutes, and for parties over 7 there is a required gratuity of 18% but suggested 20%. Normally, I wouldn't remark at this, but ending with the "figure it out yourself" 30-minute ordeal from dessert to payment left a lasting impression. read more

Sorry y'all. I can't really rate this any higher than a 3 star experience and that's being generous. Pros: - Plenty of parking - Staff are friendly - Plenty of good sports to watch - Some gluten-free menu options Cons: - Food is mediocre - Menus had sticky residue on them (I'll assume cleaning solution) - Mens bathrooms were pretty bad (e.g. graffiti etched into toilet seats, paper towel dispenser hanging lopsided on wall, etc) - Food was mediocre (I had the pecan apple salad - it was ok) - Easily 15-20% of the arcade systems were not working with card. - There's time-bound and ticket-bound cap limits on the "unlimited" card (to be fair, the terms are clearly stated). I appreciate that this place exists but I didn't see the value for the amount of money we spent. read more

Came for the new years eve special with unlimited video game play + $20 redemption game credit. It's been a couple years since my last visit, yet surprisingly there was no new machine since then. Unfortunately a lot of machines are dysfunctional or even turned off. Safe to say we did not get our money worth at all, even after getting tired of playing the same game over and over again. We could have saved money by buying credits rather than the "special" deal. I'll probably never visit this place again in favor of the newly opened Bowlero in Valleyfair. The steak is well done, juicy and savory without putting any sauce at all. And because we ordered that entree we have a $10 cash back that we can use to play to the arcade. I've got an afterthought, when we first came in with my friend no one's in the concierge area and it was past 11am, and i saw people just lost interest and they left. This place makes me so sad :( Now I know why one of the arcade families I used to watch on YouTube no longer goes to this location although they live nearby. Friends and I used to frequent this area. It's a great hangout spot whether that's for drinks or happy hour and of course the arcade! I remembered I always thought this place was a nightclub or something because I always saw a security guard carding folks at the front door until someone told me it wasn't and that it's actually a fun place to hangout. Food: - your typical fast food American diner food - there's a bar in the middle of the arcade...some of the uniquest cocktails you will ever see (having a friend who's all about craft beer was not her thing as they only offer "cheap" store beers) - I love how they switch it up yet still hold on to some of their classics that many associate d&b with Service: - sometimes it does take a while to hail somebody down Ambience: - loud, loud, loud all the time never ending blasting music (doubt anyone can or want to fall asleep in here) Arcade: - it's so sad there's so many comparisons now and even though I try to enjoy the moment, there's always that's preconceived biases - many old machines - some of the new machines aren't fun either because they don't have the complete setup like the avengers coin pushers is super fun at a different location due to the cards and I didn't realize the difference until I came here (without the cards)... I can imagine they are probably tired of constantly replacing the cards because this machine spits out the cards like it was yesterdays trash but interiorly the collectibles vibe! - the wizard of oz coin pusher was what done it for me...the machinist were dope and fixes the machine so quickly but this coin pusher kept breaking down. Additionally, the cards wouldn't even go down into the slots. I'd still come back solely I have so many chips/tokens and I do hear other d&b locations have a much wider selection... read more

Ny review: Wow, that was embarrassing. I hosted my child's birthday party here early in the afternoon and it was extremely disappointing. Food was 40 minutes late. It's embarrassing when I tell people when the food is arriving and having people come to check on food and it not being there. I get pressured into signing a contract which I'm happy to pay but it should be both ways. I honestly do not care if it's busy or if it's a large order, you knowing that the part my is happening at that time and when food should be out should be honored. Food was supposed to be ready at 11:30, an hour and a half after opening which is something I don't think is too much to ask for. When I was asking about the food, I'm given an attitude by one of the mangers. I spend thousands of dollars on this party which is why I'm extremely embarrassed and annoyed when I could have just gone the street to big Al's. I was not asking for free things, an extending time in the room when there is clearly nothing else going, balls for the kids, all I wanted for was the food to be on time. Yall dropped the ball on this, but luckily big Al's will provide a better time than what I experienced today read more
