Got here for a birthday party and it was great. Party rooms are a little small to be shared with 2-4parties. But was ok since mostly the kids and adults were out playing and socializing. Game cards weren't an issue. Just be prepared cashless system when getting or reloading your game cards. This place is a little smaller than of dnb's I've been too but it's good for the location. Oh, if you're a beer drinker, they have a wall of beer spouts. It's roughly $.40/oz. So it's ok about $7/16oz poured. Will be coming again in the near future with some girlfriends for gno. read more

First time I've been to a Dave and Buster's in many years. I had the Machanga chicken, think that was the name. VERY good!! Looked and tasted like a real restaurant dish. Wife got the Philly cheesesteak. The meat and onions were good. The cheese sauce, not so much. Son got the chicken avocado sandwich, said the chicken was tender and cooked perfectly. Huge screens to watch sports. Oddly, the music in the diner area was too loud. Surprised the server could hear us. Our server, Vic, was great. Very friendly and answered our questions about the food. I had two Long Island ice teas. Not strong at all. Feel like I should have had a good buzz going, but nah. Stick with beer or straight alcohol drinks next time. Game area has a good variety. Could have better variety of ticket games....but then they need to get better prizes too. Overall we had fun and the food was good. We will go again. read more

The service sucks here, period ! This is so wild, me and my daughter came here to eat at about 7 pm. They told us there was a 1 hr wait. That hour turned into 3 hours. And nobody said sorry, came to check on us or anything!!!! The ambiance is bad as well, security standing against the walls, people smoking and doing drugs outside. This ain't it. DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

I've been waiting for 2+ years for this Long Beach location to open up near my house. Todays the day - Grand Opening - so I had to check it out!! It's so nice inside. Shiny, fun and new. Everyone working here is so happy, friendly and helpful! :) Happy Hour is from 4-7pm Monday-Friday. 50% off cocktails!!! As well as other alcohol specials. (Tried to get a picture of the hanging sign but I was in the way of people). Unfortunately no food specials during that time. We didn't play any games this visit but Wednesday's are 1/2 prices games so that's a good day to go and one that we've gone to in the past. ;) It was a fun, pleasant visit and we WILL be back!! read more

I was there for a few hours, went to the bar to get a drink. I know the lady was little busy so I was standing there for at least 5 minutes. she didn't bother to knowledge me, she kept doing her thing. No hi I'll be right with you, nothing. I just walked away. she needs to on that. read more

Everytime we go here, WE EAT GOOD & DRINK GOOD. Definitely recommend, whether it's for a date, or going with a group of friends. Be mindful of the time you go if it's late they tend to close one side of the restaurant area (possibly because lack of staff). Table wait times can be long. The burgers are delicious the salmon is always good, the drinks are tasty! And you get to play games or watch your friends play games. It is LOUD though so if you're not okay with loud noises, definitely don't recommend. It's kid friendly too, keep that in mind. The photo booth is a must try! Definitely great for keepsakes! read more

The service was great, Natalia and Chris the bartender did a good servicing job. There are good arcade games however a few of the machine isn't working properly and seemed to be broken. The staff helped out with the fixing though . Would come back! read more

Look man I get it, it's Valentine's Day and it gets busy. Got here at 5:55pm and got seated immediately so that was nice at the very least. But we waited over 30 minutes for someone to come talk to us or ask us about what drinks we wanted. No one bothered to check in on us, mind you we are sitting in a bright area in the middle where we are visible. The tables around us were getting served. We got noticed once by staff but they just walked past us and didn't bother saying a word and immediately looked the other way. I'd be a little more forgiving if they told us sorry for the wait or something at least but nothing. I don't care for writing reviews but man it pissed me off to care enough to write one. Ended up going to dennys across the street. read more

Came here and the happy hour drinks are meh. Not a lot of variety. It's new so it's clean, spacious and like other places, loud. Great place to come hang out and watch a game at the bar or play a game. The eats are good but the main reasons for the sub par rating is for service. It wasn't terrible but it wasnt good either. Most of the wait staff was more hanging out/ flirting and they only had one bartender the whole night. Drinks took forever to come so it's a bit of a vibe killer. What's not cute is this forced upon you photo. Don't fall for it. They give u a speech on capturing a free photo of you and your group but it's an upsell tactic for bigger prints. It's like babes let us vibe no one wants your 10 dollar photo when everyone has a digital camera on phone and Walmart prints are 23 cents. The restrooms are amazing, state of the art and super clean. That was prob the best part. The amazing restrooms. Overall had okay overpriced drinks but you pay for the ambiance. Great place to people watch but not necessarily catch up with a coworker or family. read more

What an amazing birthday I had here. Although I have been to Dave and Busters before to play games, I have never had the chance to eat here. Upon arrival, my mom and I were immediately greeted by Nichole who was super friendly and put us at a table. I was being indecisive on what I wanted to eat until Nichole went through the entire menu with me giving her recommendations. I'm not one for trying new things because I hate to be disappointed but that was not the case today. I tried the chicken parmesan pasta for the first time and wow. I ate the entire plate. I had been craving noodles for a while and this is exactly what my taste buds wanted. The drinks were also really good. Our server helped us make sure we got the best deal on the food that also included game play. The bartender and other staff were all so nice! They worked together as a team and it really showed. Later we found out that Nichole wasn't a server. Well, she SHOULD be! She really was patient with us, had amazing customer service, went above and beyond, and made my night. Thank you everyone for a memorable birthday. 10/10 recommend! read more

Extremely horrible location with customer service. I had made a reservation of 315 for a party of 10. Arrived 20 mins early. 30 mins later, we were told that they couldn't guarantee a seat, because walk-ins take priority over reservations. Since when is that a standard for any restaurant! I have never experienced this at any other Dave & Buster's location. If I make a reservation, I am always seated! - It was extremely inconvenient, as half my party was from out of town and we had to quickly find another place to watch the game. read more

Was excited to experience this location because it was convenient. First impressions when entering were dull because I was expecting personnel to be visible and present. The first thing you see is the automated game chip machine to purchase for game play. I'm assuming they probably dont want you to dine, but just play. Later, I noticed a tiny booth, the size of a pedestal. There was someone there but hiding against the wall, awkward moments. I approached her and told her I have reservations at 230pm, didn't really need one, pretty quiet atm. Cut the story short. Overall, experience was okay. Had a miscommunication at the diner table but glad the personnel accepted fault and accommodated us. I'll definitely would give them another visit. read more

This is probably the best Dave & Buster's I've gone to! It wasn't too overly crowded, and the food was surprisingly good! I ordered a steak salad, chicken wings (recommended from a friend to ask for double fried.. and it was perfect), and a watermelon margarita. We had a party of 12, and the service was great. Avoid using coupons at the Long Beach store. They deny coupons. But the worst part is you will lose extra credits due to the manager carelessness. They added 200 credits prior to coupon, they say coupon no good, suppose to deduct 200 credits, but in the process 300 extra credits got deducted that were purchased prior. Then they blamed me it was my fault that they don't accept coupons. However I asked the cashier if they accept $20 for $20 coupons she said yes, but she claimed the barcode was no good and that's when the transaction got voided and screwed me over. The manager who came to void the transaction said not to waste his time trying to use coupons, then got mad that I came to explain how he took off 300 credits off my card. I had to beg the manager to make things right. And even I showed the discrepancy he acknowledged it but replied to call customer service for the mistake their store made. He eventually corrected the discrepancy but it was a very unpleasant situation to have to fight for $50 worth of missing chips they took off by mistake and being blamed for using. Don't come to this store for coupons they will do everything to deny them, then you will end trying to reason with managers to get your credits back. Even if another store will accept it without hesitation. The system error or employee carelessness will result in losing credits which is like a punishment for trying to use a coupon offered by Dave and Busters. I will avoid this store in the future for coupons. Even if you show them the discrepancy on the kiosk, they make it so hard to make things right. I will try buy credits at another store, Long Beach is a huge risk with your money if anything goes wrong if you're not good at reading game history on the kiosk. You can easily lose $50 in credits due to their error. read more

Save your money and eat before you go. We were there to celebrate a 12 year old's birthday and the food and service sucked. None of our food was hot when it came out. All of the fries were cold. Our server, Natalia was not attentive, informative or bothered to ask us if we had any questions. Didn't bother to mention the fact that if you asked for an extra side of ranch that it cost extra and they were tiny by the way. Nor did she bother refill our sodas that were nearly empty unless we asked. It's been years since I've been to a Dave and Buster's and we were less than impressed. read more

Today my husband and I decided to have lunch here. I have already submitted a complaint via their online form. We were seated in bar area at a small table near bar. Servers were milling about talking near the computer and kitchen delivery windows. We had several walk past w/o acknowledging us. We were sitting there with menus, no beverages. Quite a few stopped to acknowledge what appeared to beca regular who came in and sat at bar after we were seated practically across walkway from us. Finally a table nearby helped us flag down a server who was walking by. He offered to find out who our server was and took our drink order. Finally the server responsible for our table came over and took down our drink order and food order. We continued to sit there without our ordered beverages despite seeing them sitting at pickup area. Our server was milling about with others again near the computer. Eventually the original server brought us our beverages. Our food arrived and OMG my sandwich was pathetic. I ordered the new Philly Cheesesteak that the menu states has steak, cheese, mushrooms, peppers and onions. I got a not even close to appealing presentation of just steak and cheese whiz. Here is menu photo and what I was served. My husband's cheeseburger looked very nice tho he said it was dry. Our ticket had "med well" on it and he wasn't asked how he wanted his burger cooked. Considering the poor service we just ate and requested check. Normally we'd have two beverages but we didn't have all day to wait around. As it was we got check and it was forever until server came back by to let us pay. I tipped more than I wanted to (chose the first option 18%) tho I should have done a manual entry of 10%. I understand being a server can be rough but it wasn't busy as evidenced by the crowd of servers hanging around the computer. This was only my 2nd time here and we left a "not interested in returning" opinion. read more

This location of Dave and Buster's opened recently at the Long Beach town center. Long Beach town center is a bustling retail hub, so this was perfect for the area. There is plenty of parking but on a very busy day you will have to walk have to walk very far. Came here for a birthday party so the birthday gal arranged a dining room for all her guests. Off top, this was a great idea as each guest got a $50 Dave & Buster's card, a premium drink, and a food buffet. In speaking with other people who also reserved rooms at Dave & Buster's, if you have a party of 10-15 or more, this is the best way to go for a birthday. When I got here around 7 PM the place was super crowded I mean crowded to the point you could not walk around comfortably. There were kids running amok everywhere. As I passed by the dining/bar tables to go into the party rooms a lot of it not bussed (dirty). Also just a ton of people around the bar, playing games etc. When I got to the party room it was a breather of relief as there was room to sit, a buffet spread, our own waiter and a huge TV showing the UFC fights. Overall this entire place is super crowded on weekends, so try to either come early or book a party room If you have a large party and are celebrating a birthday read more

The service is not good, because it took forever to order. There were enough waiters to cover each tables, but we had to wait a good 30 min until we got served. The foods is alright, nothing special, but I do like my drink. The game area is not big, so we had to wait for couple of the games til we could play. The dining or bar area is big, but too bad the service is not friendly. The waiters only focus on their tables, and not working together as a team. First of all I hate to leave reviews but this experience is crazy. It's my parties and I first time at Dave & Busters so we didn't know the etiquette here, we assumed we could go play the games in the arcade after we finished eating then we pay at the end as our server was super nice but she was the only one in our section so we were left unattended for a while as she was running around serving other people. As we were playing in the arcade a very rude and hostile employee named "Ronnie" came up to us and accused of leaving without paying. I can understand and agree that it's their job to make sure customers pay for their food before leaving but we weren't even leaving yet we were still in the arcade. On our way to our table she made a rude and unnecessary comment to my friend saying 'Who do we think we are to leave without paying.' I'm sorry but that's so rude and unacceptable! While we were paying she stayed at a distance but kept an eye on us as if we were going to make a run for it, and after we finished paying and tried to walk away to go back to the arcade she proceeded to come up again and ask 'where are you guys going?' insinuating that we didn't pay or something. We replied and told her we paid and she still had the nerve to say 'Are you sure?' and went back to check if we had paid or not, after confirming she said we're good and asked her for her name she gave it to me but hid her name tag. For our first time here I was expecting friendly customer service and we didn't receive here. Super rude and hostile, possibly even aggressive employee. Food was mid too. read more

I don't like to leave bad reviews or comments, but the way my friends and I were treated at this place was completely unacceptable. My friends and I came to this place to have fun and relax, it was our first time coming here and didn't know how things worked. We ordered our food and assumed we can play and then pay at the end. The waitress was nice but she was the only one going around to each and every table so we were lost in how things worked. While we were playing we got this rude lady named "Ronnie", she told my friend "who do you guys think you are without paying" we didn't know and we weren't being rude in our response but she was really aggressive and disrespectful. I fully understand about worrying if the customers are going to dine and dash but the way she handled the situation was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. We went back to the table to pay and then try to get rid of our tickets and leave. When we finished paying she came up to us again asking if we paid. My friend and I answered yes and she asked if we were sure that we paid and gave us a disrespectful look. We told her that we paid and said there was a green check mark on where we paid and she left back to the table, we went back to the waitress to apologize because we didn't know how things worked and that lady who disrespected us was watching over us and when we asked for her name she said "Ronnie" while covering her name tag. read more

Dave's Hot Chicken never disappoints! The chicken is always perfectly crispy on the outside and unbelievably juicy inside. I really didn't think customer service could get this bad. I was in there with my coworkers 3 days ago, I think I left my credit card on the bar when I left. I tried calling every day since then. Day 1 they were "Hosting a private event and couldn't get to the phone." Day 2 I got connected to their answering services who asked me for someone's extension and after repeating the message 3 times they hung up. I called back and got through to the "Lost and found" where I left a message with a voicemail over 24 hours ago - no response. Today I called the same number again and explained how I'm now almost 4 days without my debit card and they can't even confirm nor deny if they have it. Their call center wouldn't even connect me to the restaurant in person. I called about 14 times and on the last time the operator connected HERSELF to the store (after saying they don't have a way of talking to them btw so LIES) and put me on hold for a grand total of 30 seconds, no where near enough time to check for a lost credit card. read more

Definitely not the best Dave & buster's I've been to, but a nice addition to the Long Beach towne center. I've only been here on weekend nights so it's pretty packed, lots of people in the arcade area and the table/bar area. The first time I came, it was really hard to find a table but we finally got one and service was okay. The girl didn't really seem happy to be helping us, but we did come from an angels game were a little rowdy so maybe that was why. Anyway, we ordered the lagunitas beer tower, nachos with chicken, and chicken strips. We enjoyed the beer and food and played some games. We went a second time on a Saturday night and not as busy this time but, it was really hard to get any one to help us at the bar, I think they were understaffed? Although there were people behind the bar who would not give your their attention or even look at you so you could ask who could actually take your order. I think there's some work to be done in terms of customer service. I also wish they made the seating area bigger, seems a little cramped. Not a bad place to hang out though if you're looking for something to do in that area, just be ready for a lot of people and likely a long wait for service. read more

Another server came to seat us at the same table they had just made us clear moments ago. We could have been seated a while ago as that table was empty for a while before they actually made it "ours" we ordered more drinks and food for the kids while we waited for the adults to decide on entrees.
