After interviewing and site-surveying several mechanics in this area, chose Davis based on their…read moreshop cleanliness, lot security, experience with similar engines/makes, and of course other great Yelp reviews (thanks Yelpers!). Davis recently took great care of a rare sports car for me. The vehicle had suddenly exhibited an electrical glitch that looked like a failing alternator. The alternator was new though, recently replaced by the vehicle's previous owner. And the belts and such were also new and not slipping. Davis quickly discovered a degrading wiring harness as the cause of the intermittent issue, and replaced it in a super-clean/pro fashion. They also ran tests on the new alternator and discovered that the wiring harness had shorted out the alternator as well. They were able to rebuild the alternator and get it all buttoned up in short order and a reasonable rate. In particular, liked that they took the time to diagnose the root causal rather than just replace the alternator again. By finding the wiring issue they saved me multiple trips back to their shop haha. And rebuilding the alternator was a solid call. They even offered to wash my car for free.
