I opted to bring my ID because I have not been carded in about five years. I am 43, and while I might pass for younger, I do not look younger than 30, I wish. The person ahead of me, who looked my age, bought alcohol and was not carded. I had visited this store several times, and the same cashier has checked me out without trouble before. When it was my turn, he asked to see an ID. I looked at him, puzzled, and asked if he was serious. He said yes. I noted that he had not carded me before; usually I would accept it as a compliment, but I wondered why he skipped the other person. I said, "F*ck it I'll be back" and went to get my ID. When I returned, I mentioned I am 43 and asked why he had not carded the person in front of me. He replied that he was just doing his job. I accepted that but repeated my question, and he avoided it. I handed over my ID, but he refused to scan the 6-pack and tattled out loud to someone I assume was his supervisor. I said fine and asked to take my beer to another cashier. He refused, placed it behind the counter. I asked to have it back and he refused. Tell me I can refuse to sell it to you if I don't want to. I asked again, and he told me to go to the liquor store. I was stunned. I never called him names or said anything derogatory him yet he said I was acting like a 10-year-old. Really, it was the opposite; this was all his reaction because I said F bomb, lol and called him out for not asking the other person for ID while claiming to do his job by asking me for mine. Is swearing against the law? So the other cashier said I'll take it. Hands the 6-pack to the other lady cashier. I grabbed my phone to check a message and the disgruntled cashier accused me of taking a picture of him and I said no I'm not. Then he threaten and said I swear if I catch you are taking picture me. Than stops. So now you are threatening. Honestly, I might have come harsh to him and actually did say sorry. I didn't swear at him directly. The lady cashier apologized for him. I told her I get the rules and laws. But it should apply to all. And if he thought I looked underage. Then thanks homie. But get your facts straight. Clean, modern restrooms that of course are strategically placed between the sweet shop and wine & deli shop. Treats for all ages. There's a gas station to fuel up the car with petrol not sure if they have any EV chargers. I didn't look about for them. Fuel yourself up at the sit down restaurant serving classic diner food. There is a fruit stand on steroids carrying local fresh produce, jelly jams, snacks, dried fruit, etc. There's a wine & deli shop; wine tasting is offered while the deli makes custom fresh made sandwiches. The sweet shop is dangerous... shop filled with chocolates, candy, popcorn, and ice cream. Yum! The sweet shop is where you buy the tickets to ride the little choo choo train and merry go round. Even adults can ride without the kids. Also if all of that wasn't enough, they have a RV park and hotel. Watch out for the free range peacocks. They walk about thinking they own the place, stopping traffic in the parking lot. Momma peacock had a heck of a time leading her distracted youngins. Ironic, because you'll probably experience the same thing with your youngins at this place. Lots to distract them. Anyways, I stopped to use the restroom but then stayed longer to explore. The restrooms were quite modern giving off a modern industrial vibe. The room and stalls are built in a circular pattern with the sinks in the middle. Some of the toilet stalls had their own sink as well. Those were located near the front. I used one of those and then it appeared to others using the main communal sink that I walked out without washing. Let me tell you, I got some looks.

The lower sugar content in the dark chocolate almonds was definitely noticeable, but they were still good. And the mint candies were unique and enjoyable. The different buildings offer some of the same items. For instance, chocolates can be found in the main store, in the wine and deli shop, and in Casa de Sweets which serves ice cream and coffee delights too. And both the main store and restaurant have pies for sale. I appreciate the variety of offerings on site, as well as the scenic atmosphere for doing some shopping, eating, and spending quality time with loved ones.
