I needed a quick gel color change so I went here for the first time. I thought I would have a good experience since my neighbor raves about them, however I experienced the opposite. Sara did my nails. She did an awful job. She could barely see and was messing up the nail polish with her own fingers. She is messy and not patient when it comes to letting nails soak in the foil. This place is usually very good, but you should avoid one extremely rude technician: AMY. I brought my daughter for a dip manicure with tips as a special treat, and while I was getting my pedicure Amy had the nerve to come up to me and literally yell: "Your daughter wants dip and tips?!" in a very angry tone- twice! She was clearly pissed off that are had to do a dip manicure with tips. My daughter said that throughout the entire service, Amy was huffing and puffing, dropping things on purpose, and when my daughter said "Thank you very much" to her at the end, Amy mocked her, sarcastically imitating the way she said "thank you". A simple "you're welcome" would have been nice, but Amy was clearly resentful for performing this service. Amy should be fired for her unacceptable rudeness to paying customers. read more

They are a clean salon that takes extra time to ensure I'm getting exactly what I want on my nails. As soon as i arrived for my 4:30 pm appointment, Skylar said "hurry up and sit down, i have another client at 5". My appointment was scheduled 4:30-5:30 so i was surprised by her comment. She cut 4 of my fingers and caused me to bleed. Her acrylic and dip nails were very sloppy, bumpy, rushed, and were the worst nails i have ever seen. Very disappointed because i was getting my nails done for my graduation of my masters program the next day. She did not file my natural nails enough so i had to file the parts sticking out from the side of the acrylic when i arrived home that evening. This place is really consistent and I am pretty sure I could have fallen asleep during the pedicure massage on my feet. It's pretty quiet and they seem to have British Baking Competition on a lot lately which is such a calming show in a strange way! Amazing experience and they do lash extensions now too which may be another service I will convert to them! Made appointment two weeks in advance for a gel mani/pedi. I finally got put in the pedicure chair 45 minutes later. Very strange scene, the two ladies in pedicure chairs next to me were given a pepperoni and cheese platter -- why? I didn't get it, esp during time not everyone is fully vaccinated. Pepperoni is not a nice smell while you're trying to relax. I ordered the deluxe pedi, and it was rushed and far from relaxing. I would have understood if I was a walk-in, but at 2 weeks reservation I was disappointed. I should have left after the pedi. My mani gel started peeling off after one week. read more

If I could give this 0 stars I would!! First when I walked in, I had a full set and had a set on that I wanted them to take off. They were gonna charge me for it, I said that's fine. So I chose my colors and waited 30 min even though I had an appoint. So this woman "sky" started doing my nails and because they were done by another person, she was having a hard time to get them off and I get that, I apologized the whole time and even when I was apologizing she was talking sh*t about the fact that it was so much work. It was whatever so she asked me what shape I wanted and I said I prefer square but she wanted to do coffin. I told her I wanted square because when I have coffin nails they normally break and these were a lot of money. But she insisted like it was all she knew how to do and I didn't wanna argue in a whole salon. So I went with it. She did okay work. Didn't file it down much and put more then 5 layers of nail polish on my middle finger. So it was really thick. When she went to dry it. She didn't put on a top coat so the top layer felt all clay like. She rushed through my full set and it hasn't even been 2 days and one is broken. I will never Ben coming back here. I hope every one else does the same. The two places I go to that are AMAZING are "A&T nails" in Lynn. As well as "Salem nail bar" in Salem MA right next to the petco and target. They are amazing and I hope no one else spends money here. Please recommend the places I had put. They are so much better! And they will ACTUALLY listen to you! read more

Updating this review since I do find myself coming back regularly. In my opinion, they have some of the best "spoil yourself" pedicures that are worth the extra $$. I also get gel manicures and noticed that they have not raised prices in some time. At the end of the day, it really matters who you see - Ary, Christine and Sky are a few that come to mind that make this a 5/5. I love writing positive reviews and will usually just leave it alone if i get crummy service. But not this time. I don't wear acrylics as an everyday thing pretty much limiting it to vacation time. We're leaving for Hawaii on Saturday and my husband had a medical thing which put him in the hospital. It left me exhausted so while getting my nails done and my eyelashes tinted i was not paying attention. I did ask how long the tint would last and she said 2 weeks. I then got the nails done telling her " not super long". The nails are so short and thick that they look like the press on's that the kids get at Claire's for 3.00. They're so short i can't even reshape them and They're so thick they scream acrylics and bad ones at that. The product doesn't even go all the way down to my cuticles and it looks like i need a fill on day 1. When she was done i asked why are they so short And she didn't bother responding. She is clever though.. not speaking the whole time i was sitting there except to show a little interest in my vacation for the last 2 minutes as we're leading up to pay/ tip time. When i got home i showered and the tint on my eyelashes was mostly gone. I gave 2 star review because the pedicure was pretty good. I won't go back. read more

I've been here several times. My first couple of visits were somewhat "satisfactory". However, I finally found an employee that took pride in her work....her name is Ary. Unfortunately, on the job she over extended herself and her hand became incapacitated. She's been out for several months. I hope she heals soon. First time going there and had a gel manicure. First impression, space was clean and nicely maintained. The receptionist was nice at first and asked me to select a color. I asked if it's okay to get a gel manicure since I didn't specify over the phone. She said "you can do whatever you want." In a annoyed way. Okay so I proceeded to the station. My technician was quiet, which I didn't mind. My station was cramped and every time I shifted my chair hit another customer next to me. It was an uncomfortable time. They ran out of soap which we all openly questioned and no one bother to refill. Not even the receptionist who was busy on her phone. My nail chipped the First night I went home. One of the biggest mistake I saw was my technician filed the tip of my nail after it dried. I questioned and she quickly dismissed me and said no that's ok and it won't chip. Of course it chipped and it kept getting worse. It is day 4 and all my manicure is ruined and getting caught. I had to remove them due to aggravation. I was charged $33 and it was overpriced! Went for a pedicure yesterday at Dashing Divas with the hopes of pampering myself to an expensive pedicure . I usually go to a different salon, but was in the swampscott area and figured I would give this place a shot. I paid $40 for this pedicure and my toes look horrible. There is paint on the skin, paint missing in places, and my toes weren't filed properly. When I left the salon yesterday I did not take the time to deeply examine my toes because I had a meeting I needed to make, and it was raining out so I was more focused on not getting soaked than my toes. Today I looked down and saw what they had done and I was extremely disappointed. I cannot believe that the nail tech allowed me to leave the salon with my toes so poorly painted. Today I called the salon and asked for a refund but I am still waiting for a call back. Overall I would not suggest this salon to anyone. read more

I booked an an appointment for a wax, dip manicure and pedicure. three weeks ago with Tammy because the reviews mentioned how great she was. I am new to area and was very dependent on the reviews. We were able to plan a 50th anniversary party for my parents suddenly and wanted to get it done right before. When I got there I was asked to do the wax first. The person did not have a name tag so I did not know it wasn't Tammy. While i was picking my dip color another person came to me saying when I was ready to come. I then realized it wasn't Tammy who was going to be doing my services. I also looked in the mirror and noticed a chunk of my eyebrow was missing and they were not cleaned up very well. When I asked who did it, it wasn't Tammy and when she came over she said she didn't notice anything, but she would t charge me for the eyebrow wax. read more

Great touches included: warm hand soaking water with lemon, warm towels and a warm neck wrap to encourage relaxing. The seats were great and I could easily fit my knees under the stations. My daughter was excited to get her nails done and went in with a pic of the design she wanted which was a black background with flames. She showed the picture when she got there and asked if it could be done, the girl said sure, just show the pic to the person doing your nails. My daughter sat for two hours while the guy doing her nails attempted to do the design all the while saying I'm not good at design and he he even made a face after he tried because he knew it looked bad. If he wasn't able to create what my daughter went in for, he should have had someone more experienced take over. My daughter ended up with a set of acrylics not quite the shape she requested and painted all black with no design because he wasn't able to do it after spending 2 hours at the salon. She voiced that she was not happy and was still charged $45 with no compensation. Will not be returning to this salon. read more

She didn't even small talk me either. She was pretty rough with my fingers squeezing them and rushed through the whole process. My daughter and I went for mani/pedi combo this past Monday morning. My daughter had made the appointment for us. I treated when it was time to pay. Later that day I discovered that I was not given the 15% discount as advertised on their website. When my daughter reached out to ask that our account be credited $22 on the next visit, she was told that the special promotion ended April 25th. But that is not what the website said Monday night April 30th. Unfortunately paid cash so I have no recourse. Today the website says if I leave a Yelp review I'll get 15% off my next visit. So here is my review- Thought I loved the place, but unfortunately its buyer beware and feeling pretty lousy that they were not willing to stand behind their website offer. I recently went in for a relaxing pedicure. After being seated in the spa chair with the tub filling with warm water I started reading my book. The technician left me in a room with six spa chairs alone. Due to social distancing no one else was in the room, including the technicians. All of a sudden the tub started spraying hot water. I screamed for help and they all came running. I was completely soaked. They were all talking in another language, probably in disbelief as was I. They offered me a towel and moved me down a few chairs. I paid full price for the pedicure but will Never go back. It was such a horrible experience. Never should have been left alone in the room. Very disappointed with the quality of the manicures I received. I had been going there for about 3 years and I actually liked it. I decided to do dip manicures and those were okay for a while. The last two that I had were disaster dip is supposed to be the strongest manicure and within 2 days it started peeling off it really destroyed my my nails. I had mentioned it to the owner and she couldn't imagine what could have caused that. I asked her if she had done the manicure differently she said no. So I had another dip done. Again within 2 days it was peeling off. And it's not an inexpensive manicure. I reached out hoping to get a call back as a business owner myself, you stand behind your product and unfortunately I never received that call. Since then I found a great salon and had a fabulous dip manicure done it's been three and a half weeks and it's still on and I don't have one chip. None of my nails have broken.
